A full year has passed, me and Fluttershy finally graduated but she stayed in Saint's academy while I transferred into the school Coach McIntosh recommend me, Canterlot High school.

They told me that CHS was popular back in the days because they were a powerhouse school for both girls and boys volleyball club.

Finally, a place with a powerful team unlike my last.. I was feeling kinda guilty that I left Fluttershy, but I think she'll be okay.

"R I N G ! "

My eyes slowly opened as soon I heard my alarm clock rang annoyingly. I groaned before slamming my hand on its top to make it stop.

Rd: "Five.. more minutes.." I mumbled as I placed a pillow on my head.

"WAKE UP RAINBOW!"

Rd: "Ack!" I yelled in shock when I felt someone jumped on me. I looked back and saw my little sister, scootaloo.

S: "Come on big sis its your first day at your new school!" The pink haired dwarf yelled in excitement.

But when I heard it was the first day of school, my eyes widened as I rolled out of the bed in a hurry.

Rd: "Crap how could I forget?!"

S: "Language geez!"

Rd: "Sorry scoots!" I yelled back before entering the bathroom and slamming its door.

I then brushed my teeth, took a shower and finally wearing the school's uniform before running downstairs.

Rd: "bye mom, bye dad Im heading out for school!" I happily yelled as I ran out of the door.

"Bye sweetie stay safe!" My mom yelled back with a warm smile.

I kept on running towards the school with a huge smile on my face. I cant believed Im gonna meet the people in the volleyball club that made it to nationals once!

When I finally made it to the school's campus, my excitement rised even more when I glance around the place.

"Its a shame that Fluttershy isnt here anymore." I thought to myself while entering the building.

As soon I checked my classroom, I placed my bag on an empty seat before running to the volleyball court so I can enter their club.

A few minutes of running passed and I finally made it to the metal door leading inside the court. I first took a deep breath before placing my hand in the door knob and slowly twisting it afterwards.

My eyes widened in excitement when the door full opened, I saw people passing the ball back and forth while the others were practicing their spiking.

From the smell and the sounds of their shoes squeaking from the floor, I know this is the place where Im meant to be.

"Heya short one!" A female voice happily yelled from the distance.

I looked back and saw a red and yellow hair running towards me, at first I was amazed at her height but when she got closer to me.. I realized she's more taller as heck.

"You must be lost kid, this is the highschool department."

Rd: "But I study here.. As a first year."

"WHAT?!" The girl gasped in shock for some reason.

"Oh im sorry I just thought.. You were in elementary."

Rd: "Its because of my height right?" I asked with a grin.

" Oh no, no! Its not that.. Ehem, how rude of me, Im Sunset Shimmer, a 3rd year and the captain of the volleyball club here at CHS. " She happily replied as she handed me a hand shake.

I smiled back and accepted her hand shake. She then put her hand around my shoulders unexpectedly which made me gasp in shock.

Ss: "Let me introduce you to the team!" Sunset yelled in joy while running towards her team, bringing me with her.

Ss: "The nerd over here is Twilight, a 3rd year like me and she's one of the middle blockers." She said with a laugh before pointing to a purple with a pink highlight girl seating at the corner.

T: "I heard that! Oh, who's this cutie?" Twilight said in a cute tone while pinching my cheeks.

Rd: "Eh.. Im Rainbow Dash, a first year."

Im basically used to people making fun of me and pinching my cheeks because they thought im a 9 year old but im actually 14 right now.. And I dont want to disrespect my upperclassmen at the first day so I need to keep my cool.

Ts: "Whaat?!~ a first year?! But your so-"

Rd: "Short, I know."

Ss: " Be easy on her Twi. Oh have you seen Pinkie and Rarity?" The captain asked confused.

Twilight nodded 'yes' and pointed to the two girls at the practicing their receives at the distance.

Sunset then thanked Twilight before pulling me again towards the two girls.

Ss: "Hey girls! Meet Rainbow Dash."

The two girls catched the ball and approached us after wards.

Ss: "Rainbow, this is Rarity, our middle blocker and Pinkie pie over here is our libero."

Rd: "So.. You guys are all 3rd years?" I asked confused, glancing at the tall girls except for the girl named Pinkie. Her height was short like me but I can tell she's a few inches ahead of me.

R: "Oh certainly not darling, Me and Pinkie are second years." The purple haired girl replied with a warm smile.

Rd: "Ack!" I gasped as soon I felt someone tapped me in the back with force.

"Heya! Nice to meet you Rainbow Dash!!!"

I turned around and saw the libero named Pinkie behind me. Wait.. She was just in front of me a second ago, how did she- .. Nevermind.

Rd: "Uhm.. Hello"

Ss: "Be gentle with her Pinkie, she's just a first year."

R: "A FIRST YEAR?! BUT SHE LOOKS LIKE-"

Rd: "A 9 year old, yeah I know." I said with a lowered voice.

Pp: "well its not that bad being short! Look at me, my height is 5'1 but I made it as a libero even though im the smallest one in the team." Pinkie happily explained with a sincere smile.

Rd: "Thats great ma'am.."

Pp: "You dont have to call me ma'am silly! Im just a few years older than you so you can call me by name."

Rd: "Thanks Ma- Pinkie pie."

Suddenly, I felt I was being pulled away again by Sunset. I turned around and saw her bringing me back to Twilight.

Ss: "So what brings you here Rainbow?" She asked with a smile, letting go of my shoulder.

Rd: "Uhm.. Im here to sign up for the club."

Ts: "Oh sure! But the position of the libero is already taken by Pinkie pie so.. I guess you can be her replacement when she gets tired during matches."

Why does everybody underestimate me because of my height? They think I want to be libero because the short players usually sign up for that. Im getting pissed at the time but I need to control my anger..

Rd: "Oh no! Im actually gonna sign up for.." They might not believe me for this but its worth a try. "For wing spiker."

The two girls then shared a confused look before returning to me.

Ts: "Your joking right-" Twilight laughed but as soon she saw me with a serious look on my face, her eyes widened for some reason.

Ts: "Wait.. Your serious? You can hit a ball with a height like that?" She asked with a concern tone.

I sighed and looked her in eyes which freaked her out a little bit. I then grinned before replying to her ridiculous question.

Rd: 'Yes, I maybe small ma'am. But I got a weapon that can lead us to going on nationals again." I confidently replied with a grin.

Ss: "Which is?"

But when I was about to answer, we heard the door opened at the distance so we turned our attention to that. But as soon I saw her.. My eyes widened as I formed my hands into fists.

"Wait.. What are you doing here?"

"Applejack?!"
