I cant believe it.. The Ace is literally in front of me. I just froze in the moment as the Ace reached her hand out for me, smiling afterwards.

She was wearing the same black jersey back in my dreams, her height really increased compared to their match last year, she looks awesome in personal.

It took me a few seconds before accepting the Legend's hand, knowing the fact that she's the girl I envied and admired the most..

Sf: "You okay kid?' She asked with a smile, helping me get back to my feet afterwards.

Rd: "Y-yeah.. You're the A-ace.."

Sf: "Yep, that's me." She started while placing her hand on my shoulder.

As soon I felt her hand, I immediately jumped in nervousness. Imagine meeting your idol face to face. Its like meeting your favorite member in some kpop group but.. Better!

Sf: 'You okay kid? You just froze."

Rd: "Y-yeah yeah Im okay! I just cant believe that Im here with the well-known Ace of Equestria! Oh- Im so sorry that I bumped into you, Im so sorry!" I replied in a nervous tone.

Sf: "Hehe its okay kid." She smiled, but when she saw I was wearing a blue Jersey, her eyes widened in surprise. "Woah you a player? What's your name kiddo?"

Rd: "I-Im Rainbow Dash from C-canterlot High" I yelled with confidence.

Sf: "Hm.. Canterlot High eh? What's your position? Your probably a libero-"

Rd: "Wing- spiker." I interrupted.

Sf: "Wow.. Seriously?"

Rd: "Im seriously serious right now ma'am!"

Sf: "No need to call me ma'am kid. But why are you a Wing-spiker with a height like that?" She asked, kneeling down to match my height afterwards.

Rd: "I maybe small.. But I can jump high! And Im here to be the next Ace!"

Her eyes widened in shock as soon I mentioned her title. It may seem rude to say Im going to take her title and career but Im confident that I can do it.. Besides, she's already a 3rd year so I might have a chance.. And its been my dream since i first got into volleyball.

Sf: "Hm.. Im interested but Im not gonna give up my title that easily kid, wait- why are you out here? I thought you had a match with.. Everfree High?"

Rd: "We were but.. I ran away just now."

Sf: "What? Why?" She questioned, concerned.

Rd: "My team always underestimated me, especially our two setters! I just feel impatient and useless to them.. Im starting to think that enrolling to CHS was a bad idea."

Sf: "What? Why will they underestimate such a passionate player like you?"

Rd: "Y-you really mean it?! Coming from you its a big deal!" I asked in shock.

Sf: "Of course I do, anyways I wanna see your skills and mentor you to become an ace like me, wanna join us?" She giggled as she placed her hand around my shoulders.

I always thought that Spitfire was a terrifying person at first because of her ridiculously insane power at spiking the ball but she's.. So nice.

Sunset mentioned me that Spitfire took the 'Ace' Title from her, are this two friends before the tournament? I just shook my thoughts away as I lastly looked behind me to see if my teammates chased me.

Rd: "Y-you mean it? I can join your practice?!"

Sf: "Sure, Me and my team are still training anyways while were waiting for our practice match so lets go!" She answered after leading me into their court.

I still cant believe the fact that Im with my idol. Im really honored to be with her, at least I can die happily now.. Wait! Not yet, Im still not done becoming the next Ace yet.

I wonder if I could beat her? But before I could even challenge her, I need to beat our school's ace, Sunset to be one step closer to my dream..

After Spitfire kicked the gym doors open, all of her teammates' attention were quickly placed on us which was nerve racking.

Sf: "Sup guys, look what I found."

"Who is that kid, Spitfire? Probably a fan of yours again."

Sf: "Yep she is, Surprise. But- she told me she wanna become the next Ace."

"So.. She's just gonna take your title like that? Wow."

Rd: "I dont mean it like that ma'am! I- Im just really determine to achieve it when I get better.."

Sf: "Chill out Misty, this kid is passionate about this sport, like us! Anyways, she's from Canterlot High."

S:" Canterlot High? The school that we wrecked in the last tournament?"

Sf: "Yup, Rainbow Dash over here is their Wing-spiker." Spitfire bragged after placing her hand on my shoulder.

Ff: "Really? A wing spiker?! This must be a joke."

Sf: "That's what I thought at first so that's why I brought her here to show her skills to us. Am I fight Rainbow?"

Rd: "Y-yeah! I will show all of you bot to underestimate me because of my height!"

Mf: "Ooh! Im hooked! Lets play while Coach Soarin isn't here yet!"

S: 'Wait, wait.. Aren't her team looking for her? Why is she even here in the first place?"

Rd: "My team underestimated me ma'am.. They told me I should just receive the ball so they can attack.. Especially our setter.."

Ms: "Aww poor kid, is your team okay that were gonna practice with you for a while?"

Rd: "Yeah.. They dont care about me anyways."

Sf: "Well then, let me first introduce you to our team so you get to know before playing." Spitfire started in excitement as she grabbed my hand and lead me to her other team.

Rd: "Uhm.. Okay."

Sf: "Great! This is Misty Fly, our setter. Surprise over there is our opposite spiker, Fleetfoot is one of our middle blocker and Blaze is our one of a kind libero! Get it?"

Rd: "Uh.. Yes?" I nervously giggled.

Sf: 'Great! Lets get started then!" She lastly yelled while pulling to her team again.

After Spitfire picked her teams because she was their captain, we ran to our side of the court to start the practice game. I was teamed up the girl named Misty Fly and Blaze while Spitfire on the other hand had Fleetfoot and Surprise in her team.

Since our team gets to serve first, Misty Fly ran to the back and did an amazing jump serve. I was really amazed how she slammed the ball in such angle.. I guess they're really a team in perfection.

After Surprise countered the ball by tossing it upwards, Spitfire immediately ran towards and slammed with a strong force. I can't even react fast as her attack slammed beside me, scoring a point for their team.

My eyes were still widened in shock while my whole body froze after Spitfire spiked the ball. Her angle, her strength, her jump.. She's really fit to be the Ace..

But Im not giving up that easily..

Moments later, Surprise ran to the back to serve the ball since they won the first set. After she did a float serve, Blaze immediately dived in, making the ball go back up into the air.

Misty Fly then noticed that my shot was clear so she yelled out my name before tossing the ball towards me.

As soon I saw the ball to me, my body started to move on it's own again, jumping and closing my eyes while slamming my hand into the air afterwards, hoping that my hand will somehow hit the ball.

But as soon I felt it on my palm, I slowly opened my eyes and saw a tall wall looms in front of me, causing my attack the bounce back to our base.

Rd: "Goddammit Im sorry!" I yelled in nervousness.

But When I looked at the others, their eyes were widened in shock now that they finally saw my skill. Spitfire suddenly rushed towards me and placed both her hands on my shoulders.

Sf: "H-how did you.. Jump so high..?"

Rd: "I guess Im just blessed with it.." I giggled.

Mf: "Bro.. Did you noticed that her eyes were literally closed when she spiked the ball?!"

B: "Yeah I noticed that too! That was freaking awesome man! I bet you and your school's setter really had a bond that's why you close your eyes and depend on her perfect toss!"

Rd: "H-how did you know.. Nevermind, Im so sorry I dint score a point.. Fleetfoot immediately blocked me afterwards!"

B: "Its okay kid! At least you did your best! Were not mad at you for loosing a point."

Rd: "R-really? Back at my team our setter will always yell at me whenever I mess up an attack."

Sf: "Geez your team really underestimates you huh? Never mind that, how about you try open your eyes when you attack? So you can know when the toss is short or high."

Rd: "That actually is.. A good idea.. Thanks Spitfire." I replied with a warm smile.

Sf: "No problem kid, lets continue!" She lastly yelled back before running back to her side.

We then played for hours, I was so busy playing and having fun with them that I dint even noticed that it was getting dark outside.

Our team eventually loss to a score of 16-25 since Spitfire did all of the attacks in their team. Instead of getting pissed, I actually enjoyed it.

They let me borrow a face towel so I can wipe my sweat from my face while Spitfire handed me a water bottle.

Sf: "Good game kid, you really have potential."

Rd: "T-thanks idol, it really means a lot to me when it comes from you.." I replied, getting back to my feet

Sf: "No problem kid, geez we really underestimated you about your height a while ago, sorry Dash."

Rd: "I-its okay.. Its happens all the time.. Especially my team.."

Sf: "Hey." She started, placing her hand around me. " They really underestimated you.. You deserve a better team.. Like us. "

Rd: "Wow.. really?! Im not really fit for a powerhouse school like yours!"

Sf: "Of course you fit! You have potential that can bring this team into a 100℅ victory in nationals, just remember that our school enrollment is still open.."

Rd: "I will, thanks for the match guys! I really need to get back to my team."

Ms: "Bye Dash, lets play again tomorrow kid."

Rd: "Hell yeah! Bye guys!" I lastly yelled with a smile before running out of their court.

I was feeling kinda guilty yet happy at the moment, I was happy that I finally faced and played against the Ace, Spitfire while I was guilty for skipping our practice match in our team.

I was still thinking about what Spitfire told me, am I really a powerhouse player material that my teammates cant see? At least my idol sees my potential.

Their school's enrollment is still open though, I might think about it.. No.. No what the hell am I thinking?! I cant leave my team.. Even though they underestimated me..

Since I was too busy with my confusing thoughts and feelings, I accidentally bumped into someone.. Again. I then fell to the ground and saw her..

"There you are Rainbow!"
