After me and my team finished buying some snacks, we returned to the buss to continue the long drive to the training camp site. I eventually bought the chocolate drink since Applejack forced me to.

When we sat back down on our seats, I noticed that Aj only had a water bottle in her hand, didnt she buy anything else?

I thought she was going to buy herself a soda? Did she loose her money or something? Wait.. Why the f*ck do I care about her?

I just shook my thoughts away as I plugged in the earphones on my phone again to continue listening to my music on the way.

It was currently 6:30 am so I decided to take another nap since we still have a few more hours till we make it their.

Rd: "I thought you were gonna buy a soda?" I asked, still looking at my phone.

Aj: "I was but.. Coloratura over there took it first."

Rd: "And you let her? Geez I thought you were some kind of bad girl and now you have a soft side."

Aj: "I changed when I met you jackass.."

Rd: "Oh.. So what did you bought then? Only water?"

Aj: "Eeyup, why are you asking? Its like you like me or something?" The asshole teased with a grin.

Rd: "S-screw you."

Aj: "Screw you too dickhead." She laughed back, returning to her phone afterwards.

After Coach Armor finally returned to the buss, he did a roll call of all of the team members before starting the buss.

Sa: " Is everyone back here?"

Ss: "Yes coach." Our captain replied as she gets comfortable in her seat with Twilight in her arms.

Those two looks like they've been dating for a while, I wonder if I can ask them both for tips about me and Applejack..

I sighed after watching the two lovers share this moment, they looks so happy even though they're both girls.. I wish I can have a relationship like theirs.

I just fixed myself to be comfortable in my seat while Applejack just watched the other cars passed by in the window. After I got my comfortable position, my eyes started to close from tiredness again and minutes later, I fell asleep.

After a few hours passed, I was awaken when I heard someone calling my name so I slowly opened my eyes and saw it was Applejack.

Aj: "Were here jackass." She mumbled as her cheeks turns red which made me confused.

Rd: "W-why are you blushing?" I asked.

Not long after, I quickly realized that I was cuddling at her without me knowing. So I immediately pulled away and grabbed my bag from the ground.

Rd: "What the hell? Were you hugging me?!" I asked in a nervous tone.

Aj: "No way! You hugged me when you were asleep!"

Rd: "And you let me?! Why dint you just push me away, idiot!"

Aj: "I dint wanna wake you up!"

Pp: "HEY CAN YOU TWO STOP YELLING AT EACH OTHER ITS TOO EARLY FOR THIS!" Pinkie interrupted.

Applejack quickly grabbed her bag and ran out of the buss while I just stood there, ashamed and embarrassed. Suddenly, I felt a hand on my shoulder, making me to look back.

R: "You okay darling?"

Rd: "Yeah.. Im okay Rarity."

R: "I see you and Aj haven't gotten along yet, want me to help?" She asked with a warm smile.

R: "Nah its good.. Thanks anyways." I replied while walking out of the buss.

As soon I got out of the buss, my eyes immediately widened in amazement when I saw my surroundings, there was a volleyball logo in front of the entrance, the camp was surrounded by thousands of beautiful trees everywhere, and the log cabins and the huge court were seen in the distance.

Rd: "This is.. F*cking awesome!" I yelled in joy.

Ss: "This is were me and the Ace trained last year Dash, you happy yet?"

Rd: "Wait.. That means Im following the Ace's footsteps?!"

Ss: "Uh.. Basically yeah."

I cant hold in my excitement anymore as I let out a loud cheer before running into the camp site while my friends followed from behind.

Because I was too busy running while looking at my friends behind me, I accidentally bumped into someone causing me to fall down to the ground.

When I looked up, I gasped in slight fear when I saw a team with black uniforms. They were the second leading team in equestria.. The manehattan highschool team. I was speechless at the time as I realized who tall are they up close..

"Hey! Watch where your going kid!"

Rd: "Im sorry!" I nervously apologized  after getting back to my feet.

"Dont be too hard on the kid Lyra!" Another girl yelled back as she held the girl named Lyra's hand.

"Heya are you okay kid? Im so sorry about my friend she's in a bad mood right now. Anyways Im Sweetie drops but my friends calls me Bonbon, what's your name?" She asked with a smile.

Rd: "Uh.. Im Rainbow Das-" I was cut off when I felt someone pull me back.

I looked back and saw Applejack with an angry look while Pinkie gave the other team a creepy scary grin.

Aj: "Asshole dont just rush in like that! Your an Idiot Rainbow." Applejack growled in slight anger.

Rd: "The f*ck is your problem cowgirl Im just talking to the manehattan team!"

Aj: "M-manehattan? The second leading team in equestria?!" The cowgirl gasped in shock as she looked back at the scary team in front of us.. Well except that Bonbon girl.

Pp: "You got a problem with our first year buddy?!" Pinkie threatened with her scary grin.

Lh: "No she bumped into me first Cotton candy girl." Lyra growled back, copying the same creepy yet scary grin Pinkie was giving.

The two continued to look at each other till it came to the point that it  eventually became a staring contest which was absolutely hilarious to watch.

Ss: "Hey Pinkie don't start another fight!"

Pp: "Fine! But nobody messes with our wing-spiker!" Pinkie lastly growled as she pointed a finger at me, which made the other team gasped in shock.

Suddenly, they all started to laugh except for Bonbon.. Here we go again, they're all laughing at me because of my height.. As usual.

Lh: "Seriously? She's a spiker?! I thought she was just a ball boy or a libero!" She laughed.

Pp: "Im the freaking libero, you freaking city girl." Pinkie insulted.

"Can she even jump that high to hit the ball?!" The other girl joined in with a laugh.

Im used to situations like this.. But I somehow feel weak. But it doesn't matter! They will see how serious I am when we get to play.. I'll show them, I'll show them that I become the next Ace!

I can feel Applejack's hand trying to pull me away from the fight but I immediately pushed her away to face that Lyra b*tch face to face.. Of course I need to look up at her since she's tall as heck.

Rd: "You can insult whenever you want jackass but when you get to see me play.. I promise that I'll crush you and your team!"

Lh: "What was that? Sorry I cant hear 4 inches dwarves. " She teased back as she laughed with her friends.

I can feel my anger raging inside of me.. Even though I tried to be tough like Aj, nobody even takes me seriously.. Is it because of my height?

All I can do is continue facing Lyra in her eyes as I formed both my hands into fists. Suddenly, I was pulled back once again by Wildflower Blush, causing to gasp in shock.

Wb: "Get back Rainbow."

Rd: "But Im not done with them yet!"

Sg: "Relax Dash, our upperclassmen got this." Starlight grinned victoriously.

When I looked back, I saw that Sunset and the girls, including Applejack took my place to scare the Manehattan team away.

The two team were literally staring down into each other which created a mad tension between them. Suddenly, the moment was interrupted when we heard our coach yelled our names so me and my team backed away from the other team to follow Coach Armor.

While me and my team followed our coach into one of the cabins to fix our stuff, I felt someone playfully shoved me in the back.

Aj: "Your beginning to be tough, shrimp. But not good enough."

Rd: "Oh shut up I can stand up for myself doofus."

Aj: "Like what you did when those 3 boys attacked you at school? Yeah I dont think so."

Rd: "Oh would you shu-"

Ss: "You two be quiet! We just got here and Rainbow almost started a massive fight against the Manehattan team."

Rd: "Well its not my fault because they literally underestimated me back there!"

Aj: "That's normal."

Rd: "Shut up cowgirl!"

Aj: "No, you."

Rd: "Grrrrrrrrrrr-"

Sa: "All of you be quiet back there! This is your cabin." Our coach started, pointing at a log cabin near by. "Be sure to fix your things and change into your practice clothes. Meet me at the court in 30 minutes, our first opponents are the Everfree highschool so please get ready."

"Yes coach!" We all answered.

After we got inside, I threw my bag into the corner and grabbed my spare white shirt inside.

Pp: "You should be careful Dashie."

Rd: "What?"

Pp: "Manehattan high is a powerhouse school known for their sturdy and strong blocks, they even stopped Sunset's powerfull attacks last year. If they saw you and Aj's freak attack, they will start to target you after, okay?"

Rd: "Woah.. Really? Thanks Pinkie."

Pp: "No problem, just remember that your upperclassmen got your back okay?" She happily cheered while patting my back.

I haven't told them that the freak duo is no longer a thing since Aj wont toss me the ball again. Heck, she might not toss me when we play later or the entire week. But Im not giving up on her yet.

As soon Sunset and the girls gathered outside after wearing their shirts, I took the chance to grab the chocolate milk drink out of my bag and place it to Aj's. I dont know why but I feel bad for her since she only bought water.

When we finally made it to the court, we saw our coach bringing a box towards us.

Ss: "What's that coach?" The captain asked.

Sa: 'Oh nothing its just your official school jerseys. " Shining Armor grinned before placing the box down.

Rd: "Wait.. WHAT?! AWESOME!" I yelled in excitement while running towards the coach.

The coach then handed us a color blue uniform with our names on the back. As soon I got my jersey number 7 uniform, I let out a huge scream of joy.

Aj: "Why the f*ck is my number next to the shrimp?"

Rd: "What number did you get?"

Aj: "8.."

Rd: "Bo-riiiing.."

Aj: "Shut it shrimp!"

Sa: "Oi you two stop fighting! Our match will soon begin so please wear your uniforms in the dressing room nearby."

"Yes coach!" All of us agreed before running out of the court.

After a few minutes passed, we returned back to the court but now we were wearing our jerseys which made us look super cool.

Rd: "Why is Pinkie's jersey's in a different color?"

Ts: "The libero has a different uniform of course, didnt you know that?"

Rd: "Wha-- pfft- of course I did."

Ss: "LINE UP!" Sunset shimmer yelled at the distance.

So we lined up according to our jersey's number while the two team captains went up front to toss a coin so we cam determine which team will serve first. And.. Everfree high gets to do it.

We then went to our positions as the two coaches in both school's shake hands. I was still pissed at the time because the girls at Manehattan underestimated me but.. We'll get to fight them soon. I think they're in another court so we cant see them now.

After the other team served, Fluttershy slightly bent her knees to receive it, making the ball go towards Applejack.

I grinned victoriously as the excitement rushed throughout my whole body. Surely Applejack will toss to me again..

But I was wrong.. She tossed the ball backwards for Sunset to spike down, causing Flash to score us a point.

Rd: "Maybe Aj wanted to use our school's ace first.. Surely she'll toss to me afterwards." I thought to myself.

And once again, I was wrong. A few minutes has passed and the score was already 22- Chs and 18- Everfree high and I still haven't got any tosses from both our setters..

Its making me feel indisposed, impatient and useless. All I do is receive the ball while my team do all the work.. Until I suddenly snapped.

When I saw Aj tossed the ball towards Sunset, I cant stop my body to move on its own.. So I ran towards it and jumped at the right time, but me and Sunset jumped at the same time causing our bodies to collide in hard yet painful impact.

I fell to the ground in pain while Sunset landed on her feet and rushed to me afterwards.

Ss: 'Crap Rainbow are you okay?!" She asked worriedly.

Rd: "Uh f*ck.. I think I landed on my arm.." I groaned in pain.

Aj: "Rainbow you jackass that toss was for Sunset!"

Rd: "I was getting impatient you idiot.." I growled back in anger.

Aj: "This is the reason why I got pissed at you in the first place! Your f*cking selfishness will destroy this team's balance."

I gasped in shock as soon I got back to my feet. My anger just got worse as I turned both my hands into fists.

Rd: "Screw you.. All you do is underestimate me because Im small! Why did you stopped tossing me the goddamn ball when you kissed back then?!"

Applejack's eyes widened in shock, same as everybody on the court including the coaches.

Aj: "S-shut up! Were playing over here cant you see?!"

Rd: "Oh I can see alright.. I can see that Im no longer useful to this team! F*ck this.." I lastly cried before running out of the court in tears.

I can hear my teammates yell my names but I dint bother to stop nor look back.

Im weak right? Just like Applejack said I am. How can I be the next Ace if I can't even hit a single ball. Why did I even get addicted to volleyball in the first place?!

Rd: "Gah!" I gasped in shock when I felt I bumped into someone.. Again.

As soon I fell to the floor, I looked up and saw..

No.. This cant be..

"You okay kid?"

She's the Ace.. She's here..

"S-spitfire?!"
