As soon our teacher dismissed our class, me and Applejack immediately raced towards the gym again. Even though we had to trip and fall a couple of times nothing stopped us from winning the race.

And sadly, she won this time cause I fell into a puddle which made me shirt slightly wet.

Aj: "HAHA! You owe me a drink!" The idiotic cowgirl yelled victoriously while watching me catch up with her.

Rd: "Idiot that you were cheating!"

Aj: "Well it ain't my fault that you fell into a puddle so- BLEH!" She teased again, sticking out her tongue before kicking the gym's doors to open it.

Rd: "Geez there's a handle you know?"

Aj: "What was that? Sorry I can't hear losers."

Rd: "You freaking giraffe!" I growled back as I punched her back repeatedly, but she just laughed while tapping my Rainbow hair.

Aj: "Ouch Im so hurt, I was just kidding ya know?" She sarcastically giggled.

Rd: "I know, its just fun punching you." I replied with a grin, making her cheeks slightly blush for some reason.

Aj: "I ain't your punching bag you fool. Lets just get insid-" Applejack was cut off when we both noticed that the court was completely empty.

Rd: ""Where is everybody?"

Aj: "I dunno.. Our class must have been dismissed early."

Rd: "Maybe, wanna toss me a few balls?" I asked with a grin.

Applejack then nodded in agreement before stepping inside to turn on the lights while I ran to the cleaning closet to grab the net and some mops for the floor.

While I help Applejack with the net in both sides, I cant stop myself from looking at her. But when she looked back at me, our eyes met for seconds.. Her emerald eyes are now different from the first time I saw her, its not angered.

But when we both realized that we were staring at each other, both of us immediately looked away and continued to fix the net.

After we finished both sides, I then threw a mop at her which hit the back of her head.

Rd: "Oh shoot sorry!" I nervously yelled knowing that she'll charge at me any second now.

Aj: "Dumbass!" She growled, making me jump in shock.

Rd: "Oh crap!" I yelled back with a soft laugh before running away from the crazy cowgirl.

After a few minutes of running away from the cowgirl, she eventually tackled me.

Aj: "Gotcha!" She laughed with a evil grin.

Rd: "Okay, okay you got me! Im sorry! Can you please get off me now?"

Aj:" But you dint say 'please'. " Aj teased again, grabbing both my arms and pinning me to the floor.

Rd: "Uh.. Please?" I nervously replied as my cheeks redden as heck.

Aj: "Hm.. Let me think about it, No."

Rd: "Goddammit Applejack get off me!"

Aj: "Nah I like the view anyways." She started while licking her lips in a flirtatious way, making me blush even more. "Besides, your too weak to even fight back right?"

Rd: 'I- im not.. Weak.. " I growled back with a slightly broken voice which made the cowgirl look back in confusion.

Our moment was fun at first, but when she told me I was weak, I was affected by it.. I just looked the other way to avoid making eye contact with her.

Aj: "H-hey.. You okay?" She asked worriedly.

Rd: "Can you just get off of me please?"

But before Applejack could even get away from me, we heard the door open behind us. When we both looked back, we saw Sunset and the girls watching us with a shocked expression.

Aj: "C-captain!" Applejack gasped before getting off from me.

Ss: "Hope we didnt disturb your moment."

Aj: "What moment? We were just fighting!" Applejack lied as she covered her blushing face with her hat.

R: "Ehem, are you okay Rainbow? You look redder than usual." Rarity teased because she knew that I have a thing for Applejack

Rd: "Yeah im okay.. Lets just practice okay? I'll return the mops." I answered softly, getting both the mops and running back to the cleaning closet, making the upperclassmen confused.

Ss: "What's up with Rainbow?"

Aj: "I.. I honestly dont know.."

After a the upperclassmen were getting ready for practice, Applejack repeatedly tried talking to me but I pretended to not hear her.

A heavy feeling suddenly came up to me as soon Applejack mentioned that I was weak. They all think im like that because I lack height but.. It really hurts me inside..

When I noticed Applejack was trying to make another move at me, Shining Armor immediately busted in the room, making Applejack turn her attention to him.

Sa: "Hey girls! Im not too late right?"

Ts: "Not at all big brother, where's Flash?"

F: "Right here ladies~" Flash answered behind Shining Armor's back before making an epic entrance.

The two fan girls named Sunset and Twilight then charged at our not-so-charming manager and of course he dodged the two, making the two girls tumble behind him, AS USUAL.

Pp: "And that counts as 319th time for the two idiots falling for Flash." Pinkie pie laughed.

F: "I cant blame them though, I mean look how charming I am." Flash answered in confidence.

R: "Indeed Darling but Im not falling for you."

F: "Ouch but okay, can someone please get the two fan girls get back up so we can get into training now?"

Rd:" I'll do it.." I volunteered so I can avoid Applejack from talking to me.

As soon I helped Sunset and Twilight get back to their feet, the coach gathered us in front of a board to discuss the skills were lacking.

Sa: "Alright, for today's practice is receiving the ball, especially for Rainbow Dash."

Rd: "Wha-- only me? Okay.. "

Sa: "Yes only you but Pinkie pie over here will help you while Sunset and Rarity will practice their serves."

R: "How about me?"

Sa: "You'll practice on your attack because you lack control. "

R: "But if I hit the ball to hard my hand will redden!"

Ts: "That normally happens in volleyball Rarity."

R: "Hmp! Very well."

Sa: "Great, Rainbow will receive the balls from Rarity after Applejack tosses it to her, okay?"

"Yes!" All of us replied.

Sa: "Alright, practice now! We just have 3 hours so make it quick." The coach lastly said before seating down at the bench to observe our moves.

I then walked to the other side of the net with Pinkie pie beside me. While Rarity was talking about her jump limit with Applejack, Pinkie decided to teach me the proper way of receiving a ball.

Pp: "Okay Dashie do like this with your arms!" She happily cheered while doing her stance.

Rd: "Uhm okay." I answered before copying her stance.

Pp: "Good! Now slightly bend your knees and wait for the ball to come to you. GIVE ME A SPIKE RARITY!"

Rarity nodded and told Aj to toss the ball for her, but before the ball was spiked, Pinkie pie demonstrated her way of receiving.

Pp: "okay it goes like swoosh! Swish! And BAAM!" The libero yelled as she perfected the timing and received Rarity's attack.

Rd: "Wha.."

R: "Pinkie darling use words please, you made Rainbow confused now."

Pp: "But that's my way! Come on Dashie copy ME!!!" She cheered while placing me beside her.

Rd: "But please use words.."

Pp: "Hm.. Nope!"

While a few minutes of merciless practices of receiving the goddamn ball is still ongoing, I noticed the Applejack wont stop looking at me from time to time.

Of course I always look away to avoid eye contact but I fell kinda guilty for it. But I have no mood to talk to her at the time..

Suddenly, our practice was interrupted when we heard the door open. When all of us looked back, I saw 3 girls.

Ss: "Hey Starlight, Coloratura And this other girl I dont know."

Sg: "Oh she's a first year, say hi Wallflower." The girl named Starlight introduced, pushing a green haired shy girl closer to Sunset.

Wb: "Uhm.. Hello." The girl greeted with a nervous smile.

Ss: "Hello to you too friend." Sunset chuckled while giving Wallflower a friendly handshake.

Ts: "What brings you 3 here?"

Pp: "Yeah we were kinda practicing."

Cc: "Oops! Sorry to interrupt guys but is it possible to enter the volleyball club?"

R: "What do you think Sunset? Were kinda lacking some members."

Ss: "Hmm.. You 3 need to show your skills first before we accept you."

Wb: "Oh were not 3.. Were actually 4.."

Aj: 'Then where's the other one?"

As soon Applejack asked, Starlight went back outside for some reason. But when she returned, she was with a friend which made my eyes widened in shock..

Sg: 'Meet a new Wonderbolt, Fluttershy!"

F-fluttershy?! Why is she here?

And why is she wearing Canterlot high uniform?!
