"W-why?" I asked the cowgirl in confusion, making her blush for some reason.

Aj: "Im just gonna drop you off dumbass! What? you dont want? Fine." She nervously replied before walking away at the last word.

Rd: "No wait!" I started, grabbing her arm which made her look back into my eyes. "Sure.. It gets so lonely while walking." I added with a cute smile.

Aj: "You baby.. Lets go then." She replied with a grin while walking ahead of me to avoid showing her red face.

I just stood there while I can feel my cheeks burning. Why the hell did I just do that?! I should have denied her. Danm, The strange feeling came back to me.

"Hey dumbass ya coming or what?"

Rd: "Hold on geez!" I quickly yelled back, getting my bag on the floor and bidding my goodbyes to the upperclassmen.

Aj: 'You walk so slow. " the cowgirl teased once again.

Rd: "Screw you at least im not a giraffe like you!" I growled as I stuck out my tongue afterwards.

Aj: " Well at least im not a freaking shrimp like you!"

Rd: "I- touché cowgirl.."

Aj: "Whatever, which way is your house?" She asked.

Rd: "Over there, want me to buy you a drink? Were passing a mini-strore on the way?"

Aj: "S-sure.."

As me and cowgirl walked towards the store, complete awkward silence is all I hear. Even though I tried to talk to her sometimes, she always ignore me which making me feel weird inside.

As soon we stepped inside the store, we immediately went in separate ways.

Rd: "Danm it Dash.. Get yourself together.." I mumbled to myself as I took a box of milk in the shelf.

Suddenly, I saw a hand getting the same exact milk, causing our hands to touch, when I looked back at the person, my eyes widened in shock when I saw Applejack.. Goddammit!

Rd: "I- You.. Uh.. You can have it!" I immediately yelled as my cheeks blushed like crazy!

Aj: 'I- i dint see you there.. Cause your too tiny ya know?" She replied with nervousness in her voice.

Rd: "Why is your cheeks red?"

Aj: "I- its nothing you dumbass! Just get your milk." She growled, looking away to hide her face.

Rd: "But its the last one.."

Aj: "Yeah so? You can have it. " she lastly said before walking away.

I just took the milk from the shelves as I secretly glance at Applejack at the distance.

What is this feeling?

At first I was confused why is the cowgirl blushing and why am I doing the same? Even if try to shake my thoughts away, I cant seem to get rid of Aj in my mind..

Rd: "Focus.. Goddammit!" I thought to myself, slapping my face with both my hands to make me return to reality.

I then walked towards the cowgirl to ask her what did she get so I can pay for it.

Rd: "What did you get?"

Aj: "chocolate milk."

Rd: "Whaaat!? I dint know they have in stock."

Aj: "Well too bad cause its the last one, and its mine now.' She replied with a teasing look.

Rd: "Wanna trade?" I asked with a smile while showing her the plain milk.

Aj: 'Hmm.. Let me think about it. " she started, glancing all over the place as if she's planning something.

"No." She replied with a laugh before running towards the cashier to pay for her drink.

Rd: "You jerk!" I laughed back as I ran after her.

But before I could even catch her, she already paid her drink and left the store, laughing victoriously of course.

Rd: "Applejack!!!" I yelled, accidentally dropping my milk carton in the ground before running off to catch her.

When I got outside, I saw Applejack running in the distance, giving me a teasing look.

Aj: "Your too slow shrimp!"

Rd: "Oh you wanna go? Lets go!" I yelled with a creepy grin before running with my full speed, making Aj's eyes widened in shock.

Aj: "Oh shoot!" She yelled in fear as she ran even faster.

But even if she's ahead of me, I can still catch up to her.

Suddenly, the stop light in front of her turned into a red light, causing the cars to drive pass the pedestrian line, but Applejack dint noticed it at the time cause she was too busy looking back at me.

Rd: "Applejack!" I yelled, but the idiot dint listen.

Aj: "Come catch me doofus!" She yelled back victoriously, without knowing that she's about to be ran over by goddamn car afterwards.

When Aj lost her speed, I immediately ran as fast as I could, tackling her to the side before she could even take her first step at the road.

We both fell to the ground, but when I opened my eyes, I realized that I was on top of her. We were both shock at the time so we just looked into each others' eyes for seconds, before pushing me away.

Aj: "Jackass! What was that for?" She yelled in a panicking tone while covering her blushing face with her hat.

Rd: "You dumbass! You were about to be ran over by a car!" I yelled back, pointing at the road filled cars beside us.

The cowgirl then rudely flicked her middle finger at me before standing up and removing the dust on her uniform.

I growled in slight anger before doing the same, except the middle finger part.

Suddenly, I heard the sound of a ball bouncing beside us, so we immediately looked at our right and saw a park.

The kids were playing basketball while the others were just bonding peacefully.

Rd: "Give me a toss will you?" I asked Applejack with a grin.

She nodded in angreement, smiling back afterwards as we entered the park together. I then grabbed her hand 'without thinking of course', and pulling her into a private spot where we can practice our quick attack move.

I placed my gym bag at a nearby bench and Aj did the same. Because we were wearing our gym clothes at the time, we dint bother to change into our volleyball attire so we can save some time.

Aj: "Ready?" She asked with a scary grin.

Rd: "For you? Always?"

Aj: "W-what..?"

Rd: "ITS NOT LIKE THAT! Im always ready for your tosses just.. TOSS THE GODDAMN BALL ALREADY!" I immediately denied nervously.

Aj: "Uh.. Whatever."

She lastly said before I threw her the ball for her to toss upwards so I immediately ran beside her and jumped but.. I dint matched the ball's timing.

Aj: "Dont jump too early dumbass!"

Rd: "Sorry geez! Again!"

A few hours of practicing passed and me and Aj are exhausted as heck, which made me lay down at the grass to look up in the slightly dark skies.

Rd: "Once.. More." I demanded while breathing heavily.

Aj: "This is enough for now.. You suck anyways." The cowgirl responded before drinking her water bottle.

Rd: "But.. We haven't done the quick yet.."

Aj: "Forget it.. Its useless. We're useless."

Rd: "Hey don't say that.. Just give me one more toss, I promise that we'll get it this time."

Aj: "Fine!" She started, wiping the sweat in her forehead with her towel. " This is not because I like you. "

Rd: "Nah I know your gonna toss me the ball cause you like me."

Aj: "Shut it shrimp. Get up now." Aj growled in slight anger after helping me get back to my feet.

I lastly sighed before throwing the ball to Applejack once again, but instead of tossing it to the right, Aj's  toss messed up, leading the ball to fly through a tree.

Rd: "You idiot! Now its stuck in the tree!"

Aj: "Well its not my fault go get it!"

Rd: "Why me?"

Aj: "Cause.. I cant climb a tree.."

Rd: "You freaking work at a applefarm for Celestia's sake!"

Aj: "Well its complicated! Now go get my ball."

Rd: "Ugh fine! At least no ones here to see me climb this freaking thing." I finally agreed while Stepping onto the tree's branch to lift me upwards.

Aj: "Its because we've been playing for hours!"

Rd: "Shut it! Im concentrating!"

Aj: "Why the f*ck are we yelling?"

Rd: "I.. Honestly I dont know but shut up!" I yelled back as I lift myself up a branch that was closer to the ball.

As soon I finally got the ball, I felt a sharp pain in my foot causing me to loose balance.

Rd: "Shoot!' I yelled in shock, dropping the ball so I can grabbed onto the sturdy branch with both my hands.

Aj: "You okay shrimp?"

Rd: "No im not okay just get me down!"

Aj: "Oh crap I got to picture this!" Aj laughed before running back to her gym back to get her phone.

Rd: "Applejack you son of a b*tch help me!"

Aj : Hold on let me just take one quick picture. " She teased before taking a few pictures with her phone.

Rd: "You freaking- ACK!"

I yelled in shock as soon I lost my grip on the brach, making me scream while falling back down.

Applejack immediately dropped her phone to dive into the grass to catch me in her arms.

Luckily, Applejack got me in time before I could even hit the floor. Our eyes then met for seconds.. Her beautiful emerald eyes, finally its not angered like the first time we met.

Applejack eventually ruined the moment when she rolled me out of her arms.

Aj: "Y-your welcome." She muttered, looking away so our eyes wont meet again.

Rd: "Nice save Apples, you should become a libero." I replied with a grin.

Aj: "Whatever.. Your foot is bleeding by the way."

My eyes widened in shock before looking at my right foot. It has a bleeding scratch from the sharp branch back at the tree.

Rd: "Ah! Crap am I going to die?!" I yelled in a state of panick cause im afraid of seeing blood.

Aj: "No your not! Stop over reacting." The cowgirl stated, wrapping a cloth on my foot.

Aj: "This will do for now, lets go home. Its getting dark."

Rd: "But we haven't perfected the quick yet.."

Aj: "Your conditions is more important than the quick!"

Rd: "W-what..?" I asked softly before looking back at the setter.

Aj: "Just.. Pretend I dint say that. Lets go." She growled as she grabbed her gym bag back at the bench.

I was still shocked at the time, does she care about me? I just stood up while teasing the pain in my foot as I grabbed my bag before following Aj.

Aj: "Where do you live again?" She asked with a soft voice.

I then pointed at the house in the distance and walked ahead of her without saying anything.

When we both made it to my house, she gave me one last hug which shocked me the most.

Aj: "See you tomorrow shrimp.. Get well." She chuckled before running towards the buss in the distance.

I was just standing in our door step, I was so confused.. Does Aj really hate me? But why did she hugged me?

After the cowgirl entered the buss, I stepped inside my house and greeted my pet dog tank at the distance.

Ww: "Hey honey, your home late." My mother greeted in the kitchen.

Rd: "Mom.. Can I ask you something.."

Ww: "Sure honey, what is it?"

"What is love?"
