Vineet and Ruhana are talking when the house maid informs Ruhana about Anamika. She is startled.

"Ab kya kar diya is ladki ne!!" Ruhana murmurs.

"Shant ho jao Ruhana. Gusse mein kuch galat na kehna."  Vineet says.

"Chalo dekhte hain."  Ruhana says taking a deep breath.

They move towards Anamika's room and are shocked to see the scenario. A little girl of 2 to 3 years of age is sitting scaredly on the bed, while a young girl in her early twenties is searching for something frantically. She's panting heavily, as if she is struggling hard to breathe in. She's throwing the things down in anger. Ruhana is shocked to see her.  She shouts her name in anger.

"Anamika!!!"

Both the girls look at her. The little one stretches her arms towards her mom.

"Mumma! Maasi Ruhaani ko baat nahi sunti."  she says in her babyish tone.

Ruhana eyes at her daughter, Ruhaani and her sister, Anamika. The latter is still searching something which she is not getting. Ruhana turns to Vineet and asks him to take  Ruhaani out of the room. Vineet lifts his daughter in his arms and moves out of the room. Ruhana moves towards her sister and holds her hand.

" What are you doing?" Ruhana asks firmly.

"Get me that! Where did you keep my things?" Anamika asks, trying to jerk her sister's hands.

Ruhana jerks her.

"Anamika! Hosh mein aa. Tu ye kya kar rahi hai!!" Ruhana shouts at her sister.

"  Aap nahi samjhogi! Give me my box!" Anamika says adamantly.

"Kuch nahi milega tujhe!! Bahut ho gayi teri manmaani!!"  Ruhana scolds her but it's all in vain.

Anamika still forces her to get the thing she's asking. The girl is still panting, it seems like she will fall unconscious in the next moment. She again asks for her things, and this  time Ruhana slaps her hard on her face. Anamika holds her cheek and looks at her sister.

"Chup! Ekdum chup! Phenk diya maine tera vo box. Tujhe pata bhi hai tu kya kar rahi hai? Drugs??? Drugs lena shuru kardiya tune!!  Bhool gayi tu apna vaada!!!  Bol Anamika! Isi din ke liye maine itna hard-work kiya tha kya!!" Ruhana shouts at her sister.

"Kaunsi kami thi jo tune ye sab kiya? Haan!  Sirf Doston ke wajah se!! Meri behen bevakuf nahi thi k koi usey behlaye aur wo behel jaye!! Toh kyun??" Ruhana questions her again, but the latter is quiet.

She's heavily breathing, yet. Yeah! She's Anamika  Gupta, Ruhana's  younger sister. Both the sisters love each other immensely, and can go to any extent for each other. They can't live separately, so after Ruhana's wedding with Vineet, she shifted to Vineet's house with her sister. His parents treat both the girls equally, especially Anamika. But today, after six long years, they are suffering because of Anamika's mistake.

"Acha hua Maa aur papa yahan nahi hai. Agar wo hote toh unpar kya guzarti tune socha hai??  Unhone tujhe itna pyar diya, apni beti maana, aur tune ye kiya. Mera bhi  khayal nahi aaya tujhe?? Arey sasural hai ye mera!  Drugs lene ke alava chori bhi ki!! Kyun Anamika, kyun!! "  Ruhana asks.

She looks at her sister, who's calm by now. Her eyes are teary, she knows she has annoyed her sister. She is wrong. She picks up the courage to speak to her.

" Di! Baat toh suno! "  Anamika says in a shaking voice.

" Mat bol Di mujhe!! Nahi hai tu meri behen. Kyunki meri behen aisa koi kaam kar hi nahi sakti jisse mujhe takleef ho! Tu nahi hai meri behen."  Ruhana jerks her hands.

"Di!  Please aisa mat bolo. Aapko pata hai na aapki Ana aapke bina nahi reh sakti."  Anamika cries and tries to hold her hands.

"Toh wo drugs bhi nahi le sakti aur na hi chori kar sakti hai. Par ye sab kiya na tune?! Sirf isliye kyunki kisi ne kaha hoga tere jiju itne ameer hai unhe kya pata chalega!! Hai na!!". Ruhana snaps at her.

Anamika hangs her head down. That's some truth. Now, there are media persons blaming Vineet that all he does beneath his business is drug peddling. They don't know what will come next. Ruhana glances at Anamika.

" Kya hua? Ab kyun nahi bol rahi kuch!! Bade ache dost mile hai na tujhe jo tu apni behen ko bhul gayi, hai na!"   Ruhana taunts at her sister.

Anamika doesn't know what to says. Yeah, she's wrong. She did it in a wrong way. She did a wrong deed. Her sister's anger is justified.

" I promise Di! Aaj se aisa kuch nahi hoga. " Anamika says in a teary voice.

" Nahi! Mat kar tu promise, Anamika. Kyunki tu phir se usey tod degi. You promised me ki tu aisa kch nahi karegi jisse mujhe takleef ho. Par tune aisa kiya, Anamika. Tune mujhe tod diya aaj ye sab karke."  Ruhana says.

Anamika cries. Ruhana's words are pinching her, because for the first time in all her life, her sister is calling her with her full name. She always calls her" Ana"  or "Anu" , or "baby" when she behaves like one. But today she's calling her Anamika, which is unusual. She knows that Ruhana is hurt, that too badly. But she doesn't know how to pacify her. She won't agree easily today, because Anamika has done a mistake that won't be easy to forget.

"Ab se tu yahin rahegi. Isi kamre mein. Kahin nahi jayegi tu. Tujhpe jo bharosa tha mujhe wo tune tod diya hai. Samjhi! Ab rehna akele aur sochna kya kiya hai tumne."  Ruhana says  harshly and moves out of the room, locking it from outside.

Anamika calls her but she doesn't listen. Anamika sits on the floor crying at her own mistake. On the other  hand, Ruhana reaches her room and sits on the bed, breaking into tears.

Vineet enters the room making Ruhaani busy with her toys. His heart pinches to see her cry. He sits beside her and calls her name. She hugs him in the next instant. She's already hurt with her sister's act, but now, she's  also angry at herself, that she slapped Anamika, which she hasn't done in her life till now.  He's Smearing her back trying to calm her.

"Ruhana, please shant ho jao. Tum aise rone lagi toh humko kaun sambhalega." he says softly.

" Kaise shant ho jaun Vineet?  Aaj maine apni behen par pehli baar haath uthaya… Pehli baar!  Kyun hua aisa Vineet!! Ye sab kuch nahi hona chahiye tha." she says  in a teary voice.

She parts the hug to look at him.

" I am sorry Vineet! Meri wajah se bahut takleef ho rahi hai na tumhe!!  Pata nahi kahan galti ho gayi mujhse! Maine papa se vaada kiya tha ki Anamika ka pura dhyan rakhungi, but I failed to keep the promise." she cries.

"Shhh! Kuch nahi hua hai abhi. Sab sorted  hai!  Tumhe Anamika ko sambhalna hai, aur khud ko bhi. Tum aise toot nahi sakti." Vineet says cupping her face.

Ruhana doesn't reply while Vineet pulls her in his warm embrace,trying to calm her, while another loud voice startles them to the core. They run outside and  are left shocked.
