I must say it was fun to research fun facts about the snow leopard and I must add I like it too !

FUN FACTS ON SNOW LEOPARD

✒ The scientific name for your snow leopard is Uncia Uncia. I must say this is probably the first scientific name that I found really interesting and way easier to pronounce. If you get a snow leopard for a pet you could probably call it Uncia.

✒ Snow Leopards are one of the most beautiful creatures in the (whole wide 😂) world with their snowy coats of fur (well the internet says smokey-gray coat) and sprinkles of rose like shaped black spots.

✒ Okay this just has to be one of the coolest facts (drum roll ) It's tail is almost as long as it's body ! Now imagine if our hand was almost as long as our body ! Don't bother to imagine it - that's just too creepy =-O

✒ Snow leopards are shy creatures (does this describe you ? Well not the creature part), they are independent, solitary and socialize only during the mating season. I guess we humans are not the only one who can be shy and to think we were the only animals like this.

✒ So some humans may consider themselves opportunist but they may be in for competition. Snow leopards often consider themselves opportunist as they will eat any meat available. They will go as far as to eat domestic animals. So make sure you hold on to that pet of yours.

✒ Now humans are known for keeping their cut meat in freezers and so are snow leopards. After catching it's kill for a day, the snow leopard will place their meat in a snow tunnel for safe keeping and storage. Don't go digging up their freezers in the winter now ;->

✒ Snow leopards have green or gray eyes but I found a picture of one snow leopard with piercing blue eyes. Take a look for yourself

✒ You may wonder to yourself if the snow leopard bites. Well yes it does and I heard through the grape vine that they love ... no adore human meat !

Well I am just joking (don't ever listen to grape vines). Snow leopards are very much harmless and love to keep there distance and are generally non-aggressive animals. But don't ever go near there cubs or they will most certainly attack.
