FUN FACTS ABOUT CATS

😺 I have always wondered why it is said that cats have nine lives. Well according to answers.yahoo.com this is said because cats are so flexible they can do twists in mid-air and escape from close calls to death. But like humans cats are not immortal and most certainly can die if they fall from really high places.

😺 On average cats live for 12 to 15 years. That's just about how long we take to start making sense of the world around us.

😺 Cats are one of the most popular pets around the world and there is around 500 million domestic cats in the universe. Now you tell me if there aren't just too many cat lovers on just one planet  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Just kidding but still .....

😺  Cats are able to see in lightings that are six times lower than what humans can see in ! Have you ever seen a cat's eyes in the dark with light shining in them? It's one of those things you would call cool and creepy at the same time !

😺  So the cats have come up with a new way of conserving energy. Huh ? You might say. Cats sleep for  13 to 14 hours a day! If I slept for so long I would be bored of sleeping much less I don't like sleeping.

😺  A female cat is called a molly or queen while the male cat is called a tom. Probably that's why the cat is called Tom in Tom and Jerry. I wonder if male mice are called a jerry (~_^)

😺 Humans have been associating themselves with cats for the past 10,000 years ! Now tell me if cats just get too much attention now >_<

😺 Scientist believe that cats purr as a way of healing there body from their antics of the bay aka jumping from tall buildings, running under trailers on the very busy highway and walking among the feet of a very busy crowd.

😺 Opinion Factoid: (NO OFFENCE MEANT HERE) -----> Cats are the number one attention seeking animals in the whole wide universe. They will rub their furry body on you, purr like there is no tomorrow and do that funny thing with their eyes. Remember to brush that fur off when they are done.
