Nandini moved inside and others looked at her going in the house... Manik said

Manik: ab tum logon ki vajah se vo sad ho gayi...that too on her first day only...

Abhi: huh...pagal ho tum dono...jao sorry bolo...

Abhimanyu and Manik moved inside and Dhruv and Kartik moved following them thinking how to monify their bhabhi....

Nandini moved in the kitchen and soon came out with water for them. She sat beside Abhi who was having water and out of nowhere Kartik and Dhruv came and sat infront of her with hands on their ears and saying

Dhruv: I am sorry...

Kartik: haan...main bhi sorry...we were just teasing you...

Dhruv:aur aap toh bura maan gaye....maaf kardo...

They said cutely and Nandini smiled looking at them and said

Nandini: it's okay...get up...

Kartik: sachi? Aap gussa nahi ho?

Nandini shook her head and Kartik said

Kartik: thank you...

Saying this he pecked her cheek making her shock and Manik was jealous of him...

Manik: oye...

Kartik: kya?

Manik: kuch nahi...

Manik looked at the other side as they all saw him as if something happened which shouldn't have...and Manik got embarrassed for shouting like that...

Kartik: kya bhai itna kya jealous hona apne bhai se...

Manik: shut up I am not jealous...ab jao and get fresh and up..

Kartik:haan jaata hun...

Saying this he left upstairs followed by Dhruv and Abhimanyu. Manik looked at Nandini and said

Manik: chalo...even you need to change...

Nandini bobbed her head and they also went upstairs to change. Manik entered in the room following her.

She was about to go inside but Manik held her hand. She looked at him and Manik said

Manik: I wanted to talk to you...

Nandini bobbed her head and holding her hand he took her towards the bed and sat with her.

Nandini looked at him to say whatever he wanted.

Manik:mm...voh I am sorry...mere bhai ke vajah se tum sad ho gayi...

Nandini looked at him and surprised manner. Manik continued

Manik: actually they are not like this... it's just that they are getting to see you. You are the only woman in the house after Shanti ma...so they are little...otherwise they never behave like this... I am sorry...

Manik stopped and looked down. Nandini said placing her hand on his hand which was on hers.

Nandini: Manik... I know why they are behaving like this but why to say sorry...they are not just ur brothers...they are mine also...

Manik smiled listening her. He cupped her face and pecked her forehead lingering his lips over there and Nandini closed her eyes.

Manik: thank you for understanding...

Nandini: Manik... thank you? Seriously..now don't say haan.

Manik: fine fine... I won't say...jao get fresh...

Nandini bobbed her head and moved inside the washroom. Manik moved towards the cupboard and took his clothes out.

Nandini came down after changing and Manik went inside. She moved towards the kitchen and started preparing for the dinner.

She took cauliflower and chopped them. Shanti had gone to her place as she wanted to meet her daughter who came after long time.

Nandini was cutting onion when Kartik came running inside asking her

Kartik: bhabhi bhabhi...kya bana rahi ho?

Nandini: Kartik dheere...main cauliflower ki sabji bana rahi hun...tumhe kuch aur khana hai kya?

Kartik: haan...lekin voh aap abhi mat banao...kal bana dena...already apne cauliflower cut kiya hua hai...

Nandini:okay...baki sab kya kar rahe hai? Aaye kya voh sab neeche?

Kartik: Dhruv bhai, Abhi bhai aa gaye... lekin Manik bhai abhi tak nahi aaye...

Nandini:okay...ek kaam karoge mera?

Kartik:haan bolo na...

Nandini: just remove the atta na... voh upar wale cabinet pe rakha hua hai aur mera haath nahi pahuch raha hai...

Kartik:haan wait...

Saying this Kartik went and got stool and removed the tiffin by standing on the stool.

Kartik:aur kuch?

Nandini: nahi kuch hoga toh bata dungi...tum jao...

Kartik bobbed his head and moved out to see Dhruv, Abhimanyu sitting and watching TV and Manik coming down.

Manik: Nandini kidhar hai?

Kartik: bhabhi kitchen mein hai...she is cooking...

Manik bobbed his head and moved inside. He saw her busy making dough.

Manik stood behind her and whispered

Manik: need any help?

Nandini startled and looked at him and said

Nandini: aapne toh dara hi diya...

Manik: sorry...let me help you...

Nandini:not needed I'll manage...

Manik: hello... don't think I don't know to cook... I can okay...watch me...

Saying this he pushed her slightly and he kept the kadhai and started making vegetable. Nandini was surprised looking at his cooking skills.

They both then continued to cook where as outside the three were busy playing video game.

Manik: so done...chalo I'll take these things...you come...

Nandini smiling bobbed her head and Manik took chapattis and cauliflower vegetable.

Manik came and kept the things on the table and called out for his brothers

Manik: abhi, Dhruv, Kartik.....come

Manik turned to go when he noticed Nandini coming with a vessel and a jug filled with water. He took the vessel from her and kept it on the table.

Abhimanyu, Dhruv and Kartik came and sat on their chairs. Nandini was about to serve them when Manik held her hand and said

Manik: sit...we will serve ourselves...

Nandini:but..

Abhi:bhabhi... it's okay...baitho aap aur hum khud le lenge...

Nandini bobbed her head with smile and they started having their food. They liked the food infact they didn't keep anything in the vessels.

Later on Nandini after cleaning the kitchen went in her room to see balcony door open.

She moved towards it and saw Manik talking on the phone. She didn't disturb him and just stood beside him.

Manik felt her presence. He looked at her and smiled at her. She pass it with same manner.

Nandini:sone chale?

Manik: hmm...chalo...

They both moved and slept like yesterday itself. They were hugging each other and they had a constant smile on their face.

Thoda boring tha na?
