Silence was all around, Manik and Aryaman standing facing each other. His glare/stare was enough for Aryaman to shiver.

The engagement party was over, and now Manik and Aryaman were on top of the roof to talk/sort out their problem.

"Ab bolega? 10 minute se chup hai tu." Manik said a bit loudly making him jump on his place.

"Bolta hun na. Dant kyun raha hai?" Aryaman said making him glare at him more. Sighing he started saying.

"I know maine jo kiya galat kiya. But I had no other choice."

"Yeah right! No other choice? Leaving their friends there alone in worry without telling anything to anyone. That's what is your 'no other choice'. Seriously?" Manik scoffed making him look down at his feet.

"Yes. I didn't have any other choice. My family was ruined. They didn't have a shelter to stay there. My sister was thrown out by her husband. Papa ka toh tujhe pata hi hai. How he is. Drunkard! Unke sharab ke chakkar mein unhone maa ke ki kamai sab duba di aur toh aur ghar bhi gurwi rakh diya. Main unko dekhta ya apni studies karta?" Aryaman said making Manik worried about his family.

"How is everyone now?" He asked worriedly making him smile sadly and look at him.

"Well...mom dad are no more but now I'm taking care of my sister and her daughter." He said moving towards the railing.

"I'm sorry... I didn't know...you know the way you left gave wrong impression on me at that time. Mujhe nahi pata tha ki tu...."  Aryaman sighed and said

"Forget it Manik. What I did that time was wrong. The way I left without was wrong too." Manik stared at him and thought of him the way he was at his college time.

Flashback

"Aryaman, main bol raha hun. Iske chakkar mein apna career barbad mat kar." Manik shouted at him coming into Aryaman's room in the hostel.

"Tch! Manik. Relax he isn't bad guy. Aur vaise bhi he just drank once that's not like even will start drinking." Aryaman said putting his books in the bag making Manik sigh.

"Tu meri baat kabhi nahi samjhega. Ab chal late ho raha hai." Saying this went into the college only to witness the same guy with whom Aryaman is friend with and Manik warned. He was fighting with a guy in groups. Inbetween there was a girl struggling to move away from there.

"See...this is what I'm telling you. He is like a rowdy." Manik said to which Aryaman sighed.

After few days they saw that guy again fighting plus he was drunk totally. He was wasted. Aryaman and was keeping his distance with him.

A month later Aryaman was packing his stuff after knowing his family's situation amd left without telling Manik about his where abouts.

Manik searched hik everywhere but couldn't find him also his phone was not reachable.

End of flashback

Manik and Aryaman were sitting staring at the sky.

"How did you meet Nandini?" Aryaman asked to which Manik chuckled and replied

"Tujhe kya lagta hai humari love marriage hai?" To which he bobbed his head.

"Nope! It's arranged marriage. But it's not like I don't love her. She is everything to me. I still remember she was confident about herself when we met. I can never forget those initial days of our marriage." Manik said to which Aryaman smiled and said

"Lagta nahi ki tum dono ki arrange marriage huyi hai. Anyways now you will embrace a new life soon. Congratulations."

"Thanks man! Acha mujhe bata since you work with Nandini tune mujhe ya bakiyon ko yaane mere bhaiyon ko dekha hi hoga tab kyun nahi aaya milne?" Manik asked being to which he bit lips and said

"Was scared to see you. Didn't know what you would be thinking about me. Anyways now the things are solved and also it's late. Nandini ke liye itni raat tak yahan rukna theek nahi hai. Chal." They got up and went down in the hall to see the guest had already gone and only family was there.

Seeing them coming smiling they knew that they had already solved the problem.

"Chalo sab. Late ho gaya hai." Mr. Murthy said and everyone bid bye to everyone.

In Car

"Ho gayi baat?" Nandini asked yawning to which he bobbed his head.

"Haan, agar baat nahi karta toh mujhr hi mere room se bahar phekh deti tum huh!" Manik said taking a turn following his brother's car.

"Ofcourse. Kyun mujhe pata hai apko habit. Agar pareshan huye toh khud sote toh ho nahi  aur mujhe apni neend complete karni hai. Apki tarah owl nahi banna mujhe." She said making him glare at her.

"I'm not an owl. Acha tumhe medicines li apni?" Manik asked remembering them.

"Haan, aap nahi ho toh kya hua baki toh hai hi mera khyal rakhne ke liye. And I'm very lucky about it." She said smiling brightly making him smile.

After like 15 minutes they reached their house directly went to sleep ( the boys) Manik and Nandini entered their room and freshened up and went to sleep in each others arms.

Next Morning Murthy's House

Naira was lying down thinking about yesterday's talk between her and Kartik. She was feeling really bad what he said.

"I don't want to hurt you but I can't help it. You have to stay away from me." Saying this to herself she went freshen up.

Others were up already and were having their breakfast. Naira came down with a dull face and started having her food.

She had it quietly and went to attend her college. When she was in the rikshaw she felt nausea. She vomitted whatever she had. She washed her face and mouth and drank a bit of water and settled back in the auto and went to the college.

Malhotra House

Nandini was sitting on the breakfast table with wide eyes. Where as Malhotra men were standing opposite to her waiting for her reaction.

"Itna saara khana!" She exclaimed to which Manik replied

"Ofcourse. Humara khana, tumhara aur baby ka khana...toh itna toh lagega hi na!"

"Manik! Yeh khana 2 din ka khana hai. And baby ka khana matlab? Pagal ho gaye ho kya? Main itna nahi kha paungi. Normally kitna khati hun usse shayad thoda aur kha lun lekin yeh toh 10 aur logon ka khana hai. Agli baar se kitchen mein paun mat rakhna. Shanti maa aaj nahi aayi iska matlab yeh nahi ki jo ji mein aaye woh bana le. Limited khana banao lekin itna nahi." She scolded them to which they pouted and apologized.

"Sorry! Agli baar se dhyan rakhenge. Lekin abhi chalo khana khate hai." They all settled and had their breakfast.
