Happy New Year guys✨

It's already 2022 wahh! Didn't even realise how facst the days went and a year too.

So here is the update with 1500 words. Couldn't write more since I need to study now.

Avoid mistakes if any.

01.01.2022

The Malhotra brother's were sitting surrounding Nandini on the bed. They all were worried since her fever was not going down at all.

"Bas karo ab. Chalo sab so jao. It's already late. Main medicine leke so jaungi." I said looking at them.

"But...aap..."

"Shh! Dhruv go. Manik hai mere paas. Ab jao tum sab. Good night." Saying this I pulled up the duvet on me face showing them my anger (fake).

"Guys go. Sleep. I'm here with your bhabhi." Manik said seeing them probably worried. They left from there, Manik looked at Nandini and smiled at her.

"Nandini...chalo get up. Have the medicine." Manik said moving towards her trying to take away her blanket.

"Ahh! Nahi na Manik. Mujhe nahi leni. It's horrible." She cribled pouting.

"Oh really! Abhi kaun bol raha tha unko, main medicine le lungi. Chalo I don't want any excuses." Manik scolded her making her crible all the more.

"Please na Manik...." She pleaded but he didn't even spare a glance at her and gave her the medicine. She had it without saying anything.

Once she was done. Manik sat beside her and adjusted the blanket on themselves and pulled her more closer to himself.

"Sleep baby." Listening his sweet and soothing voice she fell off to sleep.

Kartik sighed and turned on his bed since he was not getting sleep. Whatever Naira said was hurting him. She was denying his feelings inspite of knowing how much they both love each other.

"Karu kya main tumhara Naira? Why? Kal toh agar tumne mujhe bataya nahi why you are ignoring my feelings I will forget that you are someon whom I know." He said looking at her picture/photo on his phone that he had clicked recently. After really long time he slept.

Mukti moved out of her room and went on the terrace to get fresh air. Settling herself on the swing she looked around.

A constant smile was playing on her face, she felt the breeze and closed her eyes. Abhimanyu stared at her who was standing with the support of railing. Slowly without making noise he sat beside her.

Feeling some movement she opened her eyes only to get shock.

"Tum...tum yahan kya kar rahe ho? Aur aaye kaise tum? Why the hell are you here?" She almost screamed but Abhimanyu glared at her putting his hand on her mouth.

"Shh! Don't shout. Sabko uthana hai kya? Pagal aurat." She glared and shrugged off his hand away.

"Now tell me. Why are you here?"

"Neend nahi aa rahi thi. Baat karne ke liye koi tha nahi. Bhabhi ki tabiyat theek nahi hai. Tumhe bahut miss kar raha tha toh socha mil hi lun tumse." Abhimanyu said without taking a break.

"Di ko kya hua?"

"Down with fever. But she will be fine." He said softly holding her hand in his.

"Hmmm...." They sat absorbing the feeling with each other. Few minutes passed when Mukti couldn't control she asked,

"Kya hua?" Her voice was so so soft that led him smile at her.

"Ek baat puchun?" She bobbed her head.

"Why do you love me so much? Don't you find any flaws in me? Kabhi agar gussa ho jata hun, lagta nahi ki do thappad laga dun? Why don't you share your opinion on me?"

"Ek question puchne wale the, you asked so many..." She teased him making him chuckle.

"Sachi batao na baba."

"Hmm...first of all, I love you because you are unique and not like other guys who are typical about their girls. Secondly you do ahe flaws and to improve them I want to be with aur rahi baat meri opinion ki, I don't think I have to say anything. My actions are more effective than my words." Her words, her feelings made him realise how much he needs her. Others might judge him but not her.

Whole company calls him kadoos but she is the one who calls him crazy. Which is like more than enough for him.

"Will you marry me?" She was shocked. He stood there facing her hoping for her answer to be positive.

Nandini was having tea sitting on the chair when she noticed her feets to be swollen badly. She hated it. Keeping the tea away she stood up only to sit back. The fever and the swollen feets were doing nothing for her.

Just then Manik entered inside and seeing her struggling he immediately went towards her.

"Kya hua Nandini?"

"Nothing... it's just my feets are swollen. Khada bhi nahi ho rahi hun." She complained making him smile. He told her to wait and went into the washroom.

Getting a bucket fillled with half warm water he placed it infront of her and lifting her legs he put them inside it.

"Thank you!" Nandini gave him a quick flying kiss making him smile. Pecking her head he moved inside the washroom. She didn't even realise when she fell off to sleep.

Alia came out of her class and moved towards the nearest cafe. She was feeling low today and her remedy was hot chocolate. She ordered it and turned only to bump into someone.

"What the hell!" Screamed both.

"Dikhayi deta kya?" He asked, she frowned and replied.

"Maine kaha tha kya ki mere peeche hi aake khade raho? Seriously aur lagi kuch nahi hai. Na hi kuch nuksan hua hai. So stop screaming idiot." She went and sat on her place. Where as that guy was shocked by her behaviour.

"Mannerless." Mummered and ordered his snack. He went and sat on opposite table of hers making them sigh and look away.

Naira sighed and stared at the sunset.

"Sahi hai tumhara. Roj subah utho aur sham ko dhal jao. Kaash tumhari tarah hum sab bhool sakte." She murmered until she felt someone sitting beside her. She turned only to see her best friend Nikhil.

"Kya hua chipkali?" He asked since he saw her sad throughout the whole week.

"Kuch nahi."

"Kartik ne kuch kiya kya?" He asked to which she shook her head.

"Woh kya karega Nikhil. Kar toh main rahi hun. Usko ignore. It hurts but I really don't want any problems in my family. Already Mukti di aur Abhimanyu jiju sath mein hai. Kal aosa na ho ki hum sab bichad jaye jaise mumma aur papa ke sath hia tha."

"Tu pagal hai kya? Seriously? Har kisi ki life same nahi hoti. And I feel this is silly reason for you to ignore him. Probably I feel tu kuch aur bhi chupa rahi hai." He said a bit sternly making her bite the lower lip of hers making his doubt clear.

"Bata na baba hua kya hai?" She stared at him until the tears spread out. Nikhil hugged her tightly she hugged him back.

Kartik who came to talk to her saw hee with Nikhil. His heart stopped and so did his steps. He was shocked, hurt seeing her with someone else. He went from there in anger without talking to her.

Abhimanyu rubbed his palms together. He was nervous. Of whom? Of his own brother and sister in law.

"You can do it Abhi! Com'on!" He encouraged himself. Dhruv who came home frowned seeing him like that. He kept his hand on his shoulder making him jump on his place.

"Realy bhai! What happened?"

"Tu hai. Nothing...kuch bhi toh nahi...tu...tu jaa fresh ho jaa." Shaking his head Dhruv moved to his room.

"Abhi, abhi nahi toh kabhi nahi. You have to do it. Let's go." He knocked on the door, few seconds later Manik opened the door.

"Abhi, aja." He invited him.

"How are you bhabhi?"

"Fine Abhi. Thank you. Kya hua? Tum itna sweat kyun kar rahe ho?" She asked worriedly.

"Agh! Woh... actually...aap yani...bhai aur aapse kuch baat karni thi... actually permission chahiye thi." They both frowned. Manik settled beside Nandini and asked

"All okay Abhimanyu?"

"Ji...ji bhai...woh... Mukti...no I mean... I want...no actually me and Mukti..."

"You and Mukti?" Nandini asked in between making him take a deep breath.

"We...we want...wewanttogetmarried." he said it fast and closed his eyes tightly. Manan were shocked and surprised.

"That's... that's really good news!" Nandini said happily making him frown at her reaction.

"Hein? Aapko koi problem nahi hai?" He asked so so innocently that Nandini got confused.

"Mujhe kyun koi problem hogi? Tum dono ek dusre se pyar karte ho and it's really good that you guys want to take step towards your future. Aur main ya hum kaun hote hai rokne ko?" Nandini said making him smile.

"Abhi, tum dono ne soch samajh kar descision liya hai na?" Manik asked to which Abhimanyu replied

"Agar soch samjhkar nahi liya hota toh shayad aapko pehle nahi puchta bhaiya." Manik bobbed his head and said

"Chalo theek hai. Koi baat nahi. Hope tune usko propose kar diya hai." Abhimanyu blushed listening his brother where as Nandini giggled.

"Bhai! Bye!" He ran away from there. Once he was out of the room he murmered.

"I won't leave you Mukti. How dare you!" He dashed into his roo.
