I was suppose to update in February since my exams are over and also I have holidays I am updating. For 2000+ words you guys can't vote then I don't know may be I am wasting my time.

Anyways I don't want make the regular readers,voters and commenters to get sad so for them I am updating.

Avoid mistakes if any...

Few days passed and in this Manan completed one month of their marriage. They celebrated with each other by going on a date set by Malhotra brothers.

The bond between Nandini and Dhruv was going really smooth, Kartik and Abhimanyu are like babies to Nandini.

Though they don't call her like Dhruv but still they share a bond like mother and sons.

Coming to Manik well he is really falling for her. From the day of their one month anniversary he adapted a habit of getting flowers for her everyday making her feel more special. His small small guestuers were making her heart flutter.

A bright sunny day it is today... and Nandini being a early riser she was doing her all chores before going to school.

She was so engrossed in making tea that she didn't even realise Manik's presence in the kitchen.

Manik had come down to ask her about his office outfit. As he saw her in that yellow salwar kameez he leaned on the door itself

He moved slowly towards her and sneaked hid hands around her tummy making her startled and jump on her place.

She looked behind to see Manik giving her sheepish smile...she glared at him and said

"Dara diya aapne" Manik tightened his hold around her and said

"Sorry...vaise what are you doing?"

"Chai bana rahi hun...chodiye mujhe koi bhi aa sakta hai." Nandini said wriggling in his hold.

"Tch...khadi raho aise hi...koi nahi aayega" Manik nuzzled in her neck making her feel ticklish...she giggled and wriggled more...

"Manik...stop na...see you and I will get late...vaise what are you doing here?"  Nandini asked moving out from his hold to get the cups.

"Arey haan! You didn't remove my office outfit...so I came down." As he said Nandini stared at him with expression 'are you serious?'

Seeing her expression Manik gave 'what' expression.

"Seriously Manik! Aap kuch bbi pehen lo na."

"No...you have changed habit...so you are going to do it...chalo." saying this he dragged her towards their room making her sigh.

She gave him his clothes and he left kissing her cheek making her chukle and smile. She then left from there knowing he will take only 10 minutes.

Coming down Manik saw Nandini already to leave...he always feels bad to send her alone but he can't help as his office timing is different and she has to be in the school by 8 am.

Meeting others Nandini left to her work and even Shanti maa had come so it was not a tension for Nandini.

The half day was hectic for Nandini since the exams of the students were coming so she was in hurry to complete the portion.

Nandini was coming home when she noticed Dhruv with his so called friends drinking again. She got really sad and hurt.

She immediately turned her gaze and left to house.

Nandini's pov

How could he do like this? Doesn't he remember the promise that he made to me?

All the way she was thinking of Dhruv's scene only...she entered into the house after getting fresh and having food she got busy in her work.

Later on everyone came home and seeing Dhruv she just fake smiled at him...

"Maa...you know aaj college mein na hume project diya hai and we have to record a dance video of our own."  Nandini just bobbed her head and turned and went out of his sight.

He frowned and went to his room to get fresh. On thr dinning table also Nandini didn't speak to him much and Manik found it really weird.

Manik entered the room and saw Nandini lying down on the bed he frowned and went towards her.

"Nandini what's wrong?" Manik asked looking at her all lost she just shook her head denying lying down on the bed.

"Are you sure? Because I am seeing you, you are all tensed. What's the matter?" Manik asked holding ber chin making her look at him.

"Kuch nahi Manik....bas school ka kaam..." Saying this she turned around facing him her back.

Manik frowned and slept beside her taking her in his arms. Nandini was awake for sometime thinking about it...but then sleep took place in her eyes.

A week has passed now and everyone in the house came to know that Nandini is ignoring Dhruv alot. Today is diwali and not wanting to spoil her mood as it is her first diwali with Manik she got up and got ready.

She saw Manik still sleeping...she moved towards him and bent down and whispered to his ears.

"Good morning Manik...get up"  Manik stired in his sleep and opened his eyes and seeing infront of his eyes he smiled fully and said

"Good morning."

"Chaliye uthiye aaj diwali hai and I want everyone to be up early nahakar neeche aa jaiye" while saying this she turned to go but Manik held her hand and pulled her taking her under him making her squeal.

"Ahh... Manik what are you doing?" Nandini asked with wide eyes where as Manik got lost in her beauty...

"You know today you are looking really beautiful... I feel like caging you in my arms and keep you away from all the gazes of people."  Nandini just blushed seeing him talking all romantic making butterflies grow in her stomach.

Manik smiled seeing her blushing like hell...he moved towards her neck and gave fishy kisses making her giggle and clutch his shoulder in her hands...

He nuzzled in her neck dragging his nose tip on her neck till her cheek making her breathes go high....he lasted his lips on her right cheek for few seconds and got lips towards hers...he was going to place his lips on hers when she put her hand on his lips making him frown.

"Manik you didn't brush"  Nandini said with a irritated face and seeing this Manik removed her hand from his lips and asked frowning

"So?"

"So no kiss without brushing"

"You think so I will agree to it?" Manik asked raising his one eyebrow making her glar at him...without wasting anytime he immediately placed his lips on her making her irritated...but then she gave in.

After few minutes they broke the kiss and Nandini slapped his chest slightly and said

"I told you na...no kissing without brushing"

"Acha then why did you respond then?"  Manik asked teasing her making her blush like hell..
She didn't know how to say...where as Manik was enjoying her state...

Before he could tease her there was a knock on the door....they immediately sat on the bed...

"Aap fresh ho jaiye main neeche jati hun." Before Manik could stop her she ran and opened the door to see Shanti maa outside waiting for Nandini.

"Nandini's beta woh prashad ka dekh lo tum is ghar ki bahu ho toh aaj ka prashad tum hi dekh lo."

"Ji chaliye main aati hun" Nandini agreed and turned to see Manik entering into the washroom keeping his clothes out she left to make prashad.

Soon everyone came down and they did the pooja and had their breakfast. Though today is a holiday but Manik and Abhimanyu have to visit office and Dhruv was going to his friend's house.

"I want everyone to be present today aaj diwali hai..." Nandini pointed her finger at the boys making them bob their head as a good students.

All left but looking at Dhruv  Nandini was sad,hurt..she went to the kitchen and started working.

Later on Mukti, Alia and Naira along with Manish came to visit Nandini since they didn't meet her from so long.

Seeing them after so long Nandini's literally ran towards her father and hugged him right.

"Papa missed you so much!  Kaise ho aap sab log? Arey khade kyun ho...baithye main kuch lekar aati hun" without waiting for their reply Nandini ran inside to get something for them.

Manish was feeling different emotions seeing her after so long.  Soon Nandini came out with fresh juice and some sweets.

She sat beside her father keeping the things infront of them to have.

"Kaisi hai tu?" Manish asked placing his hand on her head.

"Main theek hun...aap batao aap kaise ho? I hope apni care le rahe ho." Nandini said making him smile.

"Tune in 3 students ko itne ache se sikhaya hai ki kabhi mera peecha nahi chodti hai." Nandini chuckled and bobbed her head.

"Aur Manik aur sab kaha hai?" Manish asked on not finding them.

"Sab bahar gaye hai... Manik aur Abhimanyu ko office mein kuch kaam tha...aate hi honge bola toh tha ki duphar tak aa jayenge." Manish bobbed his head getting the information.

They continued talking...soon Manik and Abhimanyu joined them...seeing Nandini's father over there Manik went and touched his feet taking his blessings.

"Kaise ho aap?"

Manish said he is ok and all and they continued to talk...where as Abhimanyu passed all the girls smiles.

"Chaliye aap dono fresh ho jaiye khana lag gaya hai." Shanti maa said coming out...and all moved to have food.

Nandini and Manik were walking behind when Manik asked " Nandini Dhruv kahi dikhayi nahi de raha?"

Listening him Nandini looked at him and said " I don't know where he is...and I don't want to talk about him now. " Saying this she went and sat on her regular chair Manik frowned seeing talking like that.

He sighed and went and sat beside her...they started having food and out of nowhere Manish asked

" Arey Nandini beta Dhruv kaha hai? Dikh nahi raha"  Nandini looked at her father and then at Manik...she looked away and knowing she won't answer he said

"Papa actually voh apne dost ke ghar gaya hai...uska koi project hai isliye."

Manish made a ohh face and bobbed his head...they then had food while talking to everyone.

Manik and Nandini insisted them to stay for pooja in the evening but then they said there is pooja at their house too.  Promising to visit them afterwards they left from there.

Abhimanyu went to his room and Nandini was about to go when Manik held her hand stopping her.

"Whats wrong Nandini? You aren't behaving the way you used. Kuch hua hai kya?" Manik asked cupping her face to which Nandini sighed and said

"Manik can we talk about this tomorrow aaj nahi...aaj diwali hai I don't want to spoil my mood." Agreeing to her he took her to their room and told her to take rest.

Manik's pov

Something is definitely wrong. Has Dhruv done something?  If he has and which have hurted Nandini I won't leave him.

Manik sat beside Nandini working...later on Abhimanyu and Manik got ready and came down as Nandini was already ready waiting for them.

Manik looked around to see if Dhruv is there but he wasn't he called Dhruv but he didn't pick up. He again called and this time he picked it up.

"Where the hell are you Dhruv? Time dekha hai? Subah gaya hua hai aur tu abhi bhi nahi aaya...where are you?" Manik asked angrily where as in reply he got

"Hello... Mr. Malhotra I am Dhruv's sir actually he is working on his music video so he won't be coming now... I will send him little later" 

Manik frowned and agreed...he was relief that he is fine...he turned and saw Nandini over there standing.

"Chaliye...vaise bhi mujhe koi umeed nahi hai Dhruv se." Saying this she went and he followed her.

After pooja and all celebrating with the family (Manik, Nandini, Abhimanyu, Kartik and Shanti ma) all left to their rooms...

Late at night some sounds started coming as if someone was breaking some things...

Nandini got up and so did Manik.

"Ghar mein koi ghus gaya hai kya?" They both questioned together...they immediately went out and at the same time Abhimanyu and Kartik came out and seeing it all got scared as well as angry....

Dhruv was all drunk and was breaking things that came infront of his eyes... Nandini was hurt seeing him like this...she just rolled her eyes and turned her gaze.

This was seen by Manik and he knew she knew something... Kartik and Abhimanyu were angry on him now.
