"Pritvi, what name you selected for your son" Asked ramaswami.

They came here to conduct naming ceremony for baby, till now they didn't named baby and now baby turning five months, it's already late but what can they do, because of sravani's death, every one thought about a mother presence in his  life, but no one actually thought about his name.

"I do not know mavayya.." He said,

"Okay...  did sravani told you any name"  He asked

"Not actually...  she didn't said any name, she just said i will tell you when the time comes, so i didn't asked, but when the time came she is not here " said pritvi looking at the sky, his eyes filled with tears.

" It's our fate pritvi... we couldn't win over our fate"He said placing his hand on his shoulder.

"You have to be strong for your son" He said.  Pritvi nodded his head.

Pritvi went to his room and saw satvika sitting on sofa lost in her thoughts, she was so lost in her thoughts, that didn't realized his presence. He decided to ask her about baby name, after all she is his mother now but before that he want to clear something.  He cleared his throat. Hearing someone clearing throat satvika came out of her thoughts and looked at direction and found her bava.  She immediately got up for her place and start to go out but pritvi not in mood leave her this time. He stopped her holding her hand.

"Where are you going" He asked.

"Amma... amma.. pilichindi, i have some work"  She said and tried to take her hand from his grip.

"We need to talk" He said calmly.

"I'll come again"She said

"It's really important" He said tightening his grip.

"Please bav..." She stopped her words in middle and pulled her hand from hold.

"I'm sorry..  i have to go" She said and turned to go but with swift move pritvi pinned her to nearly wall holding her both shoulders. Satvika surprised because of his sudden move, more than surprise she is scared because of his behavior.

"I... i'm sorry, i'm sorry..  i won't call you bava again. I'm sorry" She said closing her eyes in fear.  He got angry and harshly lifted her chin to look at her face.

"Please..  don't get angry on me.... i'm sorry" She said tears made their way from her eyes.

Seeing her scared face,His anger vanished , His eyes soften. He don't know why but he felt pain in his heart seeing tears. He can't see her sad face, he likes her happy, joyfull nature. 

"Jaanu" He called her softly. Hearing his soft voice, she slowly opened her eyes and looked at him.

" I'm sorry" He said looking into her eyes. She started into his eyes.

"I'm sorry jaanu... i'm really sorry for scaring you with my behavior. sravani's death made me to forgot myself... i lost her jaanu... i lost her" He said Tears rolling down from his eyes.

"I lost her jaanu... i lost my everything, she left me jaanu... she left me... i already lost my self...  please you too don't leave me" He said crying. 

"Bava" She said and hugged him.

"I lost everything..  i lost everything, i couldn't saved my wife "He said  hugging her. He needs someone for support now.

"Bavaa... bava... bava please stop crying..  please bava" She said trying to make him calm rubbing his back.

"I couldn't save her,  she left me, please you too don't leave me.. " He kept saying same words again and again crying hugging her tightly.

They stood there like that with each other embrace crying their hearts out. Supporting each other to reduce their pain.

"Now you take gold ring and write the chosen name on rice grains"  Said priest to pritvi.

"Amma you hold your husband hand and repeat what i'm saying while writing name" He said to Satvika. She nodded. They wrote baby name on rice grains while chanting few mantras.

"Okay now... Boy father whispers the name into the child's right ear, repeating it four times" said priest.

"Why only father" Asked pritvi to priest.

"Since the father is the one who protects his child" replied priest.

"What's all this, I don't believe it, even mother protects children in fact  more father" Said pritvi

"It's tradition my son" Said priest calmly.

"But.."

"Arey pritvi..  leave that poor priest. You both can say his name together, if you want, there is no harm" Said vinod to pritvi to rescue priest.

"Thanks" Said pritvi smiling.

He took baby from satvika lap and they both leaned into his ear.

" Devansh" They both in union everyone clapped their hands in happiness.

"Devansh, Devansh, Devansh" They repeated and kissed baby cheeks either side.

When pritvi asked her to chose name for baby she immediately said this name.  Pritvi also liked the name and asked her why this name she said because this name chosen by akka and she told me to keep as secret.

"Pritvi what's meaning of Devansh" Asked radha.

"It's mean part of god" Replied Satvika on behalf of pritvi, looking at her son with a smile.

Another month passed. their family lift after naming ceremony. Pritvi and satvika living their life like before, craking jokes, teasings's, pulling each others legs. Pritvi very supportive to satvika, helping her in everything in the house.

"Jaanu... dinner is ready....  jaanu" Called pritvi searching for her.

"I'm here bava" He heard her voice from balcony. Praitvi went to balcony. Satvika telling story to baby showing stars, baby listening story deeply involving in it.

"What you both doing here, at this time"He asked her.

"We are enjoying fresh air looking stars, right bittu" Asked satvika to her son. Bittu is baby's nickname,it satvika's choice.

"Maaa"he made a sound agreeing with her mother.

The day when she heard for the first time her son calling her maa. Satvika was not in this world, she is in heaven It's best day in her life. She never know that small "maa" word has so much power. She felt like, she won world biggest trophy ever in her life. That she cried like hell in happiness

"Enough of your enjoyment, dinner is ready now come let's go eat" He said taking baby from her who is throwing his hand to his father. He went dining area satvika followed them.

"Jaanu we need to talk... " He said entering to their room.

And saw his wife and son busy with their  own world. Satvika is too busy with her baby talks, didn't glanced at him.

"Jaanu.. " He called her. This time little loud. 

" Bava, i'm right here .. Why are yelling" Asked satvika making face.

"Oh really then why are not responding, when i'm calling you from past five minutes" He said. He walked towards bed and settled his side.

" Can't you see.. i'm talking with my son" She said tickling baby as he start laughing loudly.

"Bava... See he has tickles just like you" She said continuing her act pritvi smiled at her cuteness.

"Okay tell me.. what do you want talk with me" She Asked still playing with baby. Pritvi was silent for sometime.

"About your job" He said, satvika stopped playing.

"My job.. what about my job" She asked  confusedly.

"Well i talked with your hod. He called me morning to tell about your job"  He said.

"I didn't get you bava...  tell me clearly" She said turning her full concentration to her bava.

"Umm... that.. where you complete your internship, the hospital has vacancy's in few departments so the management decided to ask them who completed their internship there, if they want they can apply for it. You selected, so he informed me. you can go hospital from tomorrow" He said in breath.

"Oh... okay then, i will... " She said but in middle in stopped.

" Wait...  but i didn't applied for job"  She said when she realized what he mean.

"I did" Said pritvi calmly.

"What...  but why " She said and placed baby on bed and gave him, his toys to play.

"Why you applied for job bava, when you very well know that i can't go for job now" she asked.

"Because i don't want you sacrifice your dream for bittu" He said looking at her.

"I'm not... "

"Don't say i'm not sacrificing, when we clearly know that what is happening here "He said raising his voice interrupting her.

"I know... it's your dream to become doctor and serve people. A lot of times you said this to me. But now you stopped thinking about you self because of bittu. You are sacrificing your career for him and I don't want that to happen, that's why applied for the job so tomorrow you are going to hospital" He said in serious tone.

"I'm not going anywhere leaving my son" She said stubbornly.

"Jaanu"

"See bava... you said what do you want to say now listen what i'm saying" She said stopping him.

"You are right..  to become doctor and serve people is my dream. But, i'm not sacrificing my career for bittu,i'm just taking a break because i know now my son needs me, he needs mother. For me nothing is important more then my son. So i'm not going anywhere leaving my son alone. Get that in your brain"  She said and looked at him.

She expected a counter answer from him but didn't came anything. He silently looking at her, he eyes shining with happiness.

"What bava...  why are you looking at me like that" She asked feeling little awkward with his continue gaze, he nodding his head negative and smiled.

"I didn't said you have to leave bittu alone" pritvi said after sometime.

"If i go hospital who will look after him" She interrupts him.

"The world best mother of my son, just listen to me properly" He said stopping her. She became Silent.

"I told about bittu to your hod, he said  there is child care so you can take him with you to hospital... your problem me solve okay" He said

"But.. "

"No but and it's the discussion is over now. From tomorrow onwards you are going hospital and that's final" He said and lay down taking bittu from her and made him lay in middle of them. Bittu was fast asleep not interesting in his parents talks.

"Be ready at morning i will drop you both at hospital" He said covering themselves with blanket.

"I'm not going" She said and lay down her side, her back facing to them.

" I will come at five to pick up you.... okay" Said pritvi giving her things to satvika.  She just nodded her head.

She don't want to do this job right now. She wants to spend her whole time with her son but who will make understand to her bava. He was so stubborn at his decision. So she thinking how to escap from this.

"Jaanu... stop thinking about going home after i left like you did in your college"  Pritvi said like he read her mind. She looked him widening her eyes.

When she was in college, One day she wants to go movie with her friends but her father not allowed her and dropped her at college. She waited at college gate till her father gone and after confirming he gone. She went movie with her friends. Now also she has same plan.

"What don't give me that look.. i know about you more than you.  Jaanu... I'm warning you  If you do something like that.... you have to see the worst side of me... did you get it" He warned her. She gulped her saliva and nodded her head like good girl.

"Good., Okay... i'll leave now...  bye" He said and walked out of hospital after giving a kiss to his son.

Satvika stood at her place looking at her bava till he disappear from her gaze. She sighed and walked towards child care and about enter inside, someone closed her eyes from behind.

"Neeru" Said satvika recognizing that person and turned to face her friend.

"Oh my baby.. i missed you sooo much" Said neeraja kissing her friend cheek but bittu tried to push her from his mother.

"Oh possessive son" She said making satvika smile.

"But Mr. little one. She is my best friend before becoming your mother"  Said neeraja to baby.

"Stop complaining neeru" Said satvika to her friend.

"Tell that your son" Said neeraja, satvika sighed.

"When did you came from vaizag" asked satvika.

"Night.. only"  Said neeraja.

They both best friends from childhood.  They are two bodies connected with one soul. Neeraja took baby from satvika.

"Helloo,  little one.. i'm neeraja your mother's best friend.... nice to meet you" Said neeraja to baby forwarding her hand. Baby held her hand and bite her finger making her yelp in pain. Satvika laughed at her son antics. Hearing her cry baby also  start crying.

"Idiot..   you made him cry" Said satvika taking him,  he stopped crying once he reach his mother arms and start complaining on neeraja to her mother in his baby voice.

" You bit my finger  and now complaining against me  haan. Jaaanu i'm telling..  your son is too dangerous" Said neeraja.

"Stop it neeru..  he is baby" Said satvika.

"Whatever...  see little boy, you are not my friend anymore" said neeraja to baby he laughed at her words.

"You are such kid, neeru" Said satvika.

"Thanks for the compliment...  come on we are getting late" Said neeraja.

Satvika went into child care and handovered baby to them. He first denied to be there and cried sometime but seeing other babies at his age happily playing there. He start playing with them. Satvika instructed  his timings to care person and gave his things and said if any doubt come to her. Satvika kissed her son and left from there saying i will come soon to see you.
