(I'm just gonna warn you all that this chapter has mentions of Yandere High School's lore)

The light had died years ago. He didn't know how many centuries he had been stuck in a void of just nothing. No noises could be heard, it was dead-silent. Sometimes he saw an unfamiliar figure pass by him without even looking into his direction.
He knew he was weird. He wasn't like the others. He was too young, too naïve, just a teenager after all. This wasn't the first time he had died.
During a shootout years ago, he had taken a deadly hit from one of the bullets, but someone who had loved him had saved him. No one could ever see, but the boy was just a soul possessing a dead corpse. It had been only a matter of time when his body would have started rotting away.
Sometimes when he was just laying on his bed, he had thought about his past lover. He had loved them, but he knew he had been too dangerous for them. He still remembered their purple hair and yellow eye. He didn't even know where they were now. He kinda hoped they were now in a safer relationship with someone less dangerous than him, if they even were in the same relationship.
Again another lost soul passes by. This time they looked a bit familiar. They were a girl with long long brown hair with a cyan stripe. Her eyes were blue and she was wearing a school uniform. Something about her was really familiar, but he wasn't sure what. Then she was gone.
He tried to remember who she had been, but his memory was really blurry. He only remembered a rooftop and a familiar voice screaming out the girl's name, but he couldn't hear it.
He snapped out of his thoughts and was met with another familiar, yet so unfamiliar, face. This one was a male with brown hair and blue eyes. Next to him was someone he didn't know. They were a female with blonde hair and brown eyes.
Now his vision was filled with flashing images of a place that looked like a school. He didn't hear anything, but he faintly recognized some Halloween-costume looking clothes.
Then the duo was gone and he was alone again. He looked down and noticed that his hands were bloody. It was probably the blood of the people he had killed in his past.
Then another person appeared. She had pink hair and pink eyes. She made his warning bells ring. Unlike the others, she was smiling. It made his spine shiver. Behind the person was a male who was covered in blood.
He remembered a dumpster and a gun. Then a rooftop again. He couldn't see anything else, but he knew both of the scenes involved death.
Then he was again all alone. He kept staring into the darkness, waiting for someone familiar appear again, but no one came. Suddenly he didn't even remember what he was waiting for. Suddenly he was starting to feel out of control, he was completely helpless. A teenager, who should have died years ago, but for some reason he had survived. Well, he wasn't alive anymore, but at least he had gotten a few extra years to his life.
Who was he? What was his name? Did he have one? Why did he remember so many? Which one of the names was his? Why were there so many faces? Which one was his own?
A voice whispered to his ear, "You're Taurtis!"
Taurtis. Taurtis. Taurtis. Taurtis. Taurtis.
That must be his name! He was Taurtis! He ate plastic! He ate plastic? He ate plastic... He was Taurtis... He was... Taurtis... Yeah... Taurtis...
Was he really Taurtis? Was that his name?
"Tell me your name," A familiar voice sang. The voice was warm, familiar. It made his heart speed up. He knew this person!
"Taurtis," He answered with no hesitation. But was that the actual truth? Was he lying to this person?
"Tell me your name," The person cooed and their hand brushed his cheek. He tried to find their face or body, but he couldn't find them.
"Taurtis," This time the answer didn't come as fast as before, but it was still pretty strong.
"Tell me your name," The person cooed warmly. They didn't seem annoyed at all, they were patient.
"Taurtis," This time he hesitated a bit. That was his name, but why were they still asking it?
"Tell me your name," Their voice was still warm and welcoming. It was like they had been expecting something like this. (Something like what?)
"Taurtis?" Now he was getting kinda anxious. Wasn't that the right answer? There was no way he was lying to them, right?
"Tell me your name," They continued with no sight of anger or annoyance. Their voice was so friendly and respectful that it was making him feel bad. He didn't know if he was lying to them. He really didn't want to lie.
"Taurtis.?" Now it was even more hesitant. He still wanted to believe himself, but he didn't really know anymore.
"Tell me your name," Their hand was still brushing his cheek carefully and so gently. He had felt their warmth before, he knew he had. But sadly he couldn't remember where.
"Taurtis..." Now it wasn't even a question, just a hesitant lie. He knew it was a lie. He didn't know his name, but he knew it wasn't Taurtis because they didn't believe him when he said it to them.
"What's your name?" Now he saw their warm smile. He didn't really recognize it, but he knew it was their smile. The smile was loving, it showed that they cared. He was loved by them.
"I don't know. Can you tell me?" Now he didn't even fight against them. He wanted to know the truth. They knew the truth and he didn't. Why were they even asking him the question if they knew he didn't know the answer?
They chuckled softly and soon he felt their arms around him. Their hug was warm. It was so familiar and loving that he just melted on their arms. He closed his eyes and buried his head on their shoulder. They held him close.
"Who am I?" He asked from them. He didn't want to lie anymore. He wanted to know the truth. He wanted to know who he was.
"You'll remember it soon, just think," The whispered to his ear and ruffled gently his dirty blonde hair. Since when had his hair been dirty blonde?
He tried to think, but he couldn't remember. He remembered just small pieces of his memory. One strong memory climbed up the others.
He saw his friend (Was that his friend?) getting stabbed by someone. That was followed by a buss, a crash, screaming, blood, hospital. What had exactly happened that day?
Then he remembered a blue sweater and the taste of plastic. The name Taurtis came up in the blurry memory.
"Are you sure I'm not Taurtis?" He asked again. Now he was again getting confident that he was Taurtis. That was the only name he could remember.
"You're not Taurtis," They whispered to his ear. They were still calm and warm. It was surprising him. He thought they would have already gotten annoyed by his same answer.
"Who else could I be?" He asked. He was starting to get tired of the game of guessing. He really wanted to know his name since it didn't seem to be Taurtis.
"You'll figure it out, don't worry," They hummed with their comforting voice. It made him feel peaceful even if his brain was hurting for trying to remember his actual name.
"But what if I don't?" He whispered. His head was a maze filled with blurry memories. He couldn't recognize himself (Hell, he didn't even know if he was actually "he") from them.
"You will, don't worry. You always do," They hugged him tighter. He was getting kinda annoyed because they clearly knew who he was, but weren't about to tell him.
"Can't you at least tell me who you are? Are you Taurtis?" He groaned and leaned deeper into their shoulder. His eyes were still closed, he didn't need to see them to recognize everything about them.
"First your name, then mine," They whispered softly. He could tell they were still smiling.
"I've had many names.. Too many.. I don't know which one of them is mine," He sobbed. Now he was getting overwhelmed by everything. He just wanted to know his name and remember everything, but apparently that was too much to ask for.
"But you remember it, don't you?" They asked softly. It wasn't even a question, they already knew the answer to it.
"Grian," Suddenly the name felt familiar. It was his name. He didn't know how he had remembered it, but he just knew it was his name. "I'm Grian," He continued with more confidence.
"And I am?" They cooed.
"Ellen," Grian whispered and hugged them close to him.
Words: 1520
(I've had a week to write this, but still I wrote this in like two hours :D)
(Anyways, I've been watching YHS and TS because it keeps getting mentioned in stories and I need more background for Grian angst- But in all honesty, YHS and TS are fucked up... Sam's not a good person...
At first I just noticed a few kinda disgusting scenes and jokes here and there, but then I found out that his videos are targeted for children. THAT SHIT IS DEFINITELY NOT FOR CHILDREN! And I also heard that he didn't pay any of the actors... Well, I already didn't like him and now I have even more reasons to hate him..)
(And now after that we're moving to some nicer subject-
Me looking at Wynncraft's map be like: Okay, now I have to go this road there and then turn from there.
Also me right after closing the map: Who the fuck needs these roads? *Takes a shortcut*
And then I realize that I have no idea where the fuck am I because I got lost- ((But well, I don't get lost all the time because I'm still on an area that I know at least somehow :D)))
