Laksh: take a break! Who said that you're not looking good? Tell me!

Ragini: no one said that but I'm feeling like this.

Laksh: no! You're looking very very beautiful.

He says smiling at her. Ragini pouts and then makes a crying face.

Laksh: what happened now?

He asks cluelessly.

Ragini: I thought I'm looking hot but you said I'm looking beautiful. This is not fair. I wanted to look hot in the saree but I think I'm looking cold that's why you didn't say that the temperature has increased in the car like boys says.

She starts whining. Laksh was looking at her strangely. He moves his hands towards her and checks her forehead.

Ragini: what are you doing?

Laksh: you don't even have fever or anything! Then why are you acting like crazy?

Ragini: Laksh!

Laksh: achcha, tell me what do you want to hear?

Ragini: I want to hear that I'm looking hot!

Laksh: okay! You're looking very hot! Now happy?

Ragini shakes her head in no.

Laksh: why?

Ragini: because you called me hot when I told you to do so. You didn't do it on your own which means I'm looking cold.

Laksh: okay, give answer of my one question and I'll reason this out. Okay?

Ragini nods.

Laksh: what do you mean by looking hot? I mean, how a boy or a girl looks hot? They don't blaze fire obviously.

Ragini is left speechless with his question. Laksh raises his eyebrow questioningly.

Ragini: Uhm... Arhm... I know the answer but I'm not getting how to explain.

Laksh chuckles at that.

Laksh: see you are unable to explain but you want me to compliment you as hot. The day you'll explain it to me, I'll compliment you accordingly.

Ragini: this is cheating. You're just running away from the situation by making me stuck in my own words.  I don't remember exactly when but you also used this word once. Now you can't act smart.

Laksh: oh, I did? I dont remember.

He lies while Ragini glares him.

Laksh: okay now let's go. We've wasted a lot of time already.

Ragini makes faces and Laksh starts the car.

Laksh stops the car and signs Ragini to come out. She looks around and then at Laksh.

Ragini: beach! What are we going to do here?

Laksh: just wait my curious baby.

He holds her hand and they starts walking towards the seashore. No one else was present there at that time. Then only Ragini notices the beautiful cruise in the water.

Ragini: are we going to get on this?

She asks excited. Laksh nods and Ragini's excitement multiplies. Laksh gets on the cruise first and then helps Ragini.

They reaches far away from the seashore, only water was everywhere and the moon was shining brightly in between the stars. Ragini was looking at the cruise with a broad smile. It was decorated beautifully with red and white roses and was lighten up brightly. She then turns to look for Laksh and gets shocked, not finding him.

Ragini: Laksh, where are you?

She asks panicked.

"Relax, I'm here only." she hears his voice and calms down with it.

Laksh: Ragini, before doing anything, I want to say something. I'll say this from here only. Okay?

Ragini: but I can't see you!

Laksh: I know and that's why I'm saying this from here.

Ragini: why? I want you to say it in front of me, whatever you want to say.

Laksh: I can't!

Ragini: why? What's the problem?

Laksh: if I'll tell the reason to you then you'll make fun of me.

Ragini: why would I do that?

Laksh: because I know you.

Ragini: no, I'll not make fun of you. Tell me!

Laksh: I... I'm feeling nervous.

Ragini is left surprised with it. She smiles shaking her head.

Ragini: it's okay Laksh. There's nothing wrong in it. Everyone feels nervous for something or the other. I won't judge you for anything. Come over here.

She says looking around for him.

Laksh: promise?

Ragini: promise!

Laksh: still...

Ragini: okay, if you still don't believe me then I swear on you. I'll not make fun of your nervousness. Now come.

She smiles as she sees Laksh walking towards her. She moves towards him and holds his hands.

Laksh: I can't believe that I am feeling nervous for something! It's so hard to accept.

Ragini: it's alright! Look at me and say whatever you want to say. I'm listening.

Laksh looks in her eyes and takes a deep breath.

Laksh: only I'll talk today and you'll listen to me, without interrupting. Okay?

Ragini: okay boss!

Laksh: I don't know where to start... There's a lot which I want to say. Okay... Just do it Laksh!  Ragini, I feel that I'm not any perfect and romantic guy which girls usually dreams about and which are shown in movies. I'm me. I don't know cheesy pickup lines and shayaris n all. So, I'll just be honest about everything I feel.

Ragini nods, encouraging him to continue.

Laksh: you know I was always closest to my dad, maybe because I was his first child. People say that first child is always closer to the father. I feel it's true only. He never let anything affect me. He gave me and my brothers a happy and worry free life. You must be feeling like why I'm telling this to you now, at this moment. There's a reason behind it. I'm coming to it, slowly. Ten years ago, when I lost dad, I lost the one who used to pamper me and used to understand my thoughts and feelings even without me telling him. I lost my mom, who used to care for me, selflessly. After them, I wasn't actually alone. I was surrounded by many people. My brothers, relatives. Many fake and real people. I did everything my parents used to do for my brothers. From protecting them to pampering them. Everything I could. But there wasn't anyone to do the same for me. There were so many people around me but there wasn't the one who could understand me. Though, my brothers always tried to share the burdens and responsibilities but I never let them because I used to feel that, being the eldest, the tension was my part to take care of. I took everything over me before it could reach them. From years, my daily routine was like, getting up at five. Getting ready for work and then leaving for the office. Working there, non stop like a machine and then coming back around ten. I barely used to sleep for five or six hours. That was my life all those years. But... But, everything changed when you came in my life. You changed my life, for good. Trust me Ragini, you are a blessing to me. You brought lights and colors to my life. After years, I got someone to care for me, to pamper me, to love me. I even forgot how it used to feel being pampered but you made me feel it again. I stopped doing all my little works just because I wanted you to do it for me because it used to make me feel special. I started acting like a child. In you, I got the one who understands me even before me saying anything. You understand about me being tensed even after my thousand tries to hide it. I don't know how you do that but trust me Ragini, it makes me feel so special, so happy, so loved, so wanted. I got you to share things which I used to keep inside me, before. After you came to my life, I started living in real manner. I started living not only for work but for myself. You gave me so many reasons to smile, laugh and live. I may get angry on you, fight with you, shout on you for some things or the other but the truth is that, I can't live without you now. I don't want to. Living without you feels like living an aimless life. I have realised it in these weeks. They were worse than hell for me. Being with you has become the most important thing for me. I never told this to you but today, I'll tell this to you. When we were together, I used to wait for eating because you'll be the one to make the food and serve me. Even you making me wear the coat and tie was very special for me. I used to feel excited to come back home because you'll be waiting for me. I even used to feel happy to sleep just because I'll be sleeping, hugging you. The feeling of not getting up alone in the bed but being in your arms and warmth is what I can't even explain. The best feeling. I used to think that I don't need a partner to live but now I need you more than anything else. You calms me down when no one can. Just one smile of yours makes all my worries to fly away. You're very special for me, Ragini. Very important. I... I just want you to be with me. I want all of you for me. Today, I accept that I don't like you with anyone else besides me and our family. I don't like you sharing my time with you with anyone else. It's so funny when I think about past and present. When my brothers told me about the proposal of our marriage, I used to think how will you fit in my workaholic life and how will you live with my stern self but now, my whole life seems unfit without you. Everything is misplaced in my life just because of your absence. My house is incomplete without you. My room is incomplete without you. My bed is incomplete without you. My life is incomplete without you. God is really very smart that he paired me with you. You have all the things which I lack in. From being patient to being immature, sometimes or many times. And that's why you complete me.

He sits on his knees, in front of her, still holding hands. Ragini was crying non stop. She was feeling like the happiest person alive. The feeling was very heartwarming.

Laksh: please, make my life complete again. Please make your Mr Akdu complete by coming back into his life. I promise, I'll bear all your stupidities, your childishness, your stubbornness, your craziness, everything. I'll make you feel special and loved. I'll do everything for your happiness. I'll never let you become sad. I'll fight with the whole world, only if you'll be with me, without you, I'm nothing. You've become my strength and at the same time, my weakness, a beautiful weakness.

He looks up at the sky and Ragini also looks up. Her happiness gets boundless as she sees the words forming in the sky because of the fireworks.

"Marry Me!"

Laksh: marry me, again! I swear, no one has the guts to separate us now, not even Laksh Maheshwari himself.

Ragini also falls on her knees and hugs him tightly.

Ragini: Laksh! Thank you! You think that you're not perfect but you're the best for me. The most honest life partner. No matter what happens, I'll never leave you. I'll be always there, by your side. I'll never let you feel lonely. I'll be there to share your happiness, your sorrows, your worries, your tensions, everything. I promise to irritate you all your life. I love you Laksh. And after today, I love you more and more. Where will I go, leaving you? You're my life! I'll get married to you. I'll be yours forever.

Laksh smiles as he tightens his grip around her.

Laksh: thank you!

They remains like that for sometime and then finally breaks the hug. Laksh cups her face in his hands and caresses her cheeks with his thumb.

Ragini: people generally asks, 'will you marry me?' but you directly said 'marry me. 

She says chuckling.

Laksh: I wasn't going to take no as an answer.

Ragini shakes her head in disbelief.

Laksh: see how badly you've affected me. I talked so much, without any break.

Ragini laughs at that.

Laksh: you know, I'm the luckiest man because I got you.

He says as he merges his forehead with hers. Ragini smiles.

Ragini: ditto!

Laksh: we're getting married the day after tomorrow. I don't want to waste time.

Ragini giggles at that.

Ragini: why not tomorrow?

Laksh: the stupid pandit said that the day after tomorrow is a very good day to get married otherwise I wanted to get married tomorrow only.

He says twitching his lips. Ragini laughs at that.

Laksh smirks as he starts decreasing the distance between their lips. He groans as Ragini brings her hands in between.

Laksh: Ragini!

Ragini: no!

Laksh: why?

Ragini: because we're not married.

Laksh: but we're going to get married the day after tomorrow.

Ragini: then we'll kiss the day after tomorrow.

Laksh: you're saying like we haven't kissed before.

He says irritated.

Ragini: but we were married at that time.

Laksh: you're doing it on purpose, right!

Ragini: maybe!

Laksh: this is total torture!

Ragini: have patience Mr Maheshwari.

She says controlling her laugh. Laksh stares her for a few seconds and then let's out a frustrated sigh.
