Ragini was sitting in her room in Gadodia Mansion. Her eyes were swollen and face was tear sticken. Her hair were all messed up. It seemed like she has cried for hours. She was wearing a plain saree which she wears in the night but there was something missing from the things she generally wears. That was her mangalsutra. She was looking at her phone's screen which was having his photo as the wallpaper.

Ragini: why you did this? I know you're hiding something from me. Don't you think that I've supported you if you would have told me? Till yesterday we were so happy and together. Yesterday you made me feel so special and so happy and today... Please come and tell me that you were joking. You were pranking with me. All that was a lie. Please love please... I can't live without you.

"Di, come here fast. Look what they're showing." she hears Naina's panicked voice from downstairs. She immediately get's up from the bed and runs out of her room. She finds the two of her sisters looking at the television screen shocked. She also shifts her focus to the screen and her eyes widens at the scene. There was Laksh's photo in the half of the screen and they were showing some breaking news.

Breaking news, the well known industrialist Rajat Kapoor is dead!! Not actually dead but he's murdered two days back and the culprit has also come to the light. The great business tycoon Laksh Durgaprasad Maheshwari has murdered Rajat Kapoor. Mr Maheshwari himself surrendered to police last night. He's accepting his crime himself. Let us tell you, only a few days ago from the day when Mr Kapoor is murdered Laksh Maheshwari had a big fight with him in his company. Mr Maheshwari even warned him to kill him. There were many people present there at that time as witnesses. Even Mr Maheshwari's wife Mrs Ragini Laksh Maheshwari was also present there. We've also come to know that Mr Maheshwari is a very short tempered man. Maybe he killed Mr Kapoor in his anger. The main reason of the murder hasn't come into light yet. The anchor kept saying all this non stop and again and again. Ragini starts shaking listening all this. She stumbles but Misha and Naina holds her on time. They makes her sit on the sofa. Tears starts rolling down her eyes.

Ragini: he's dead!! How? When? Laksh didn't do anything. I know he can't do it.

Misha: relax di!! We know di. He can never do anything like this. It must be a mistake.

Ragini: he's lying. He was with me in the party two days back. I want to meet him right now. He can't do it.

She get's up and runs out of the house. Naina and Misha follows her. Trio sit's in the car and Ragini drives away to the police station in the highest speed.

Arjun: what the f*** they're showing?

He says angrily as he throws the remote away although his eyes were ready to flow.

Ryan (crying): why bhayu is doing this?

Sanskar: there must be any misunderstanding, I'm sure.

Swara: we should go to the police station and check the matter.

They starts leaving for the police station but stops finding their family lawyer on the door.

Sanskar: Mr Tiwari, you here?

Tiwari: I'm here to give you these papers.

He says showing a file to them.

Arjun: what are these papers for?

Tiwari: Laksh sir came to meet me yesterday night. He made the will. He has divided all the property equally among you three brothers.

Trio: what???

Arjun: he made the will!!

Ryan: and only for three of us!! What about him?

Sanskar: he already planned everything. What he's trying to do?

Ryan: I want to meet bhayu. We didn't even talk to him yesterday when he tried to. It's all our fault.

The other two also looks at him and starts feeling guilty about how they behaved with their elder brother. How they showed him the cold shoulder. They composes themselves and tells the lawyer that they'll talk to him later and runs out of the house.

Ragini, Misha and Naina enters inside the police station and finds Aryan sitting on his desk, holding his head. They directly goes to him.

Ragini: Laksh...

Aryan looks up at her. His eyes were filled with anger.

Aryan: he has gone mad. I just want to slap him. He has lost his senses. Your husband needs a mental treatment.

Ragini was crying badly. Naisha were consoling her.

Ragini: where's he? I want to meet him.

Aryan: he's not telling anything to me. Maybe he will open his sealed mouth in front of you. Come with me.

The sisters follows him. He stops in front of a shell. Ragini's eyes starts flowing more as her eyes falls on him. Laksh was sitting on the ground, facing the wall. Aryan opens the door of the shell but Laksh didn't react to it's sound. He was in his own thoughts. Ragini enters inside and keeps her shaking hand on his shoulder. Laksh jerks at once and looks up at her. His eyes were holding thousands of emotions but Ragini was unable to read a single of them.

Laksh: Ra... Ragini... What are you doing here?

Ragini stares him for a while and then falls on her knees in front of him and hugs him tightly. Laksh was about to reciprocate at first but stops and takes his hands back. Aryan, Naina and Misha leaves from there. After crying for a few minutes, Ragini breaks the hug. She starts caressing his cheek lovingly. Laksh was just staring her. There was silence between the two. A silence which was showing how much they've missed each other in the past few hours. Ragini's eyes were holding pain and love while Laksh's eyes were showing sorrow and guilt. He was trying to cover his emotions but was unsuccessful.

Ragini: I should be asking the same question to you Mr Maheshwari. What are you doing here?

Laksh: I'm a murder and this is my right place.

Ragini (angrily): shut up!! Try to fool someone else Mr Maheshwari. I know you haven't done anything. Stop this nonsense and tell me why are you lying.

Laksh (thinks): why do you love me like this? Please stop loving me. It's getting difficult for me to see you like this bachcha. Please don't cry.

Laksh: I'm not lying. I did that. I killed him.

Ragini: really? And why you killed him?

Laksh: you don't know the reason?

Ragini: you killed him for he misbehaved with your wife. The wife whom you made to sign the divorce papers after killing her culprit. Do you want me to believe this shit?

She asks as a matter of fact. Laksh makes a fist of his hands but remains quiet.

Laksh: don't waste your life for a criminal.

Ragini: do you really think that all this is going to work on me? I don't believe you and never will. You're lying. I know my Laksh can never do anything wrong.

Laksh: I'm not lying. That's the truth.

Ragini: say it by looking into my eyes.

She holds his hand and keeps it over her head. Laksh get's shocked at this.

Ragini: now say that you killed him.

Laksh immediately takes him hand back. Ragini smiles slightly.

Ragini: what are you hiding Laksh? Is there something or someone behind all this? That's why you decided to divorce me because you didn't want me to waste my life for you when you'll be here. Right?

Laksh: there's nothing and no one is behind all this. I decided to divorce you on my will. Just go from here Ragini.

Ragini: didn't you understand me this much in these six months? I'm the definition of stubbornness. If you're stubborn then I'm too. I'll find the truth and the real culprit too.

Laksh: stop it Ragini.

Ragini smiles but he was glaring her.

Ragini: shout, scream as much as you want but I am not going to believe this nonsense of yours.

Laksh: it's not any nonsense. I'm the culprit.

She moves her face closer to his and pecks on his lips. Laksh widens his eyes in shock.

Ragini: we'll see love. For proving my love I agreed to divorce you. Now again for proving my love and trust on you, I'll prove that you're innocent. You didn't do anything.

Laksh glares her angrily but she was smiling. Just then the three brothers enters inside running. They runs to Laksh and takes him in a bone crushing hug. They were crying.

After a few seconds.

Ryan: bhayu, you're okay na?

Aryan: what will happen to him? He would have got to know what real jail means if this bastard wasn't my best friend.

Laksh chuckles at this but all others were glaring him.

Sanskar: why are you doing this? Why are you lying?

Laksh: I'm not lying. Why you all are not understanding? I really killed him.

Arjun: just shut up bhai!! Just stop this. Tell us why are you doing this. Who's blackmailing you? What's there which we don't know? Just anwer us.

He shouts while others were looking at him with wide eyes. They then looks at Laksh for any answer. Laksh shuts his eyes tightly and then opens them again.

Laksh: just go away. Inspector, isn't it is against your rules to let a culprit's family meet him for such a long time? I guess, it is.

Aryan glares him. Laksh gives him an unaffected look.

Aryan: I'm the inspector. It's my police station. I'll decide about it. You better tell us the truth.

Laksh: I'm telling the truth only. I killed him. You should believe me. I've surrendered myself. You should thank me because I saved your time of solving the case.

All others: shut up!!

Laksh looks at them for a few seconds and then turns his face away.

Laksh (thinks): why they're not believing me? How to make them believe?

Aryan: guys, now you have to leave. You all go to Maheshwari Mansion, I'll reach there in an hour. Then we'll talk about it.

The others nods understandingly. They looks at Laksh with tear filled eyes. The brothers hugs him again crying. Laksh makes a fist of his hand to control himself.

Ryan: we don't know why are you doing this but we'll take you out soon bhayu.

Laksh smiles a little. He caress their head one by one and then signs them to go. They starts leaving unwillingly. Ragini kisses his hand and starts leaving with others.

Laksh: Ragini...

Ragini turns to look at him with her flowing eyes.

Laksh: you have my swear if you denied to take divorce in the first hearing of our divorce case. I want the divorce to get clear in the first hearing only. For that you can even put the reason that you don't want to be called the wife of a criminal, a murderer. So, you want to get free from me and from my name which is attached with yours.

Ragini: Laksh...

She says with a painful voice but Laksh wasn't looking in her direction. He was looking away from her. He wasn't able to tolerate those tears in her beautiful eyes.

Laksh: go Ragini. We were meant to be together for this time only. You're free from me and my bad luck now. Just be happy and together all of you.

Everyone was looking at him shocked and his words were making them feel goosebumps on their bodies.

All: bhai/jiju/bhayu/Laksh...

Ragini: Laksh, what are you saying? You're not a bad luck.

Laksh: I know better Ragini. Please go away.

Ragini: I'll bring the truth in front of all and that's my promise to you Mr Laksh Maheshwari. I know my heart will never lie to me. I love you Mr Akdu.

Laksh smiles in between his tears but no one was able to see for he was looking at the other side. Everyone leaves from there with heavy hearts and Laksh falls on his knees crying.

Laksh: I hate myself. I hate myself for giving you so much of pain from the time I've met you. I'm sorry bachcha.
