Laksh was not getting any sleep. So, he sits on the bed. He looks at Ragini who was sleeping peacefully right next to him.

Laksh (in mind): life is so funny. Isn't it? It gives you many relations and you come across many people. Some stays with you forever and some leaves you in between. Some stays with you only for their own benefits but some stays with you for no reasons. They are with you just because they want to be with you. And my wife is one of them who is with me without wanting anything from me. She's loving me without expecting anything from me. From the time I have started understanding the world I have come across many people who just want themselves and their profits. I stopped trusting people after meeting so many backstabbers in my entire business journey. But now I have started trusting again like I trust you. There are many who want to kill me because of the one reason or the other but you are the one who's ready to die for me. Thank you for coming into my life and loving me unconditionally.

He lightly ruffles her hair.

Ragini smiles in her sleep. Laksh too smiles at this.

Laksh: she's cute.

He again lays down and Ragini encircles her hand around his waist.

Laksh chuckles and soon falls asleep.

Next day-

Raglak's room:

Ragini: Laksh, I kept your clothes in the bathroom. Come I'll drop you there.

Laksh nods. Ragini helps him in getting up and takes him towards the washroom.

Laksh: I'll go myself now. Or you want to accompany me inside also?

He asks with a raised eyebrow.

Ragini: I can if you don't have any problem.

She says naughtily.

Laksh looks at her horribly. Ragini giggles. Laksh goes in and locks the door.

Ragini was checking on his medicines when Ryan comes in.

Ryan: good morning bhabhi.

Ragini: good morning.

Ryan: bhabhi, where's bhayu?

Ragini: he's bathing. Do you want to say anything to him?

Ryan: no, just wanted to know how he's now.

Ragini smiles at him.

Ragini: he's fine. You don't worry and focus on your studies.

Ryan nods and leaves from there.

After a few minutes Sanskar enters.

Sanskar: good morning bhabhi, where's bhai?

Ragini: in the washroom. You also wanted to know if he's feeling fine now or not? Isn't it?

Sanskar nods.

Sanskar: how do you know?

Ragini: I just know. By the way he's much better now. Don't worry.

Sanskar nods and leaves.

Laksh opens the door of the washroom.

Ragini looks in his direction and widens her eyes seeing him shirtless. She was staring him without blinking her eyes. She was feeling crores of butterflies in her stomach seeing his well built body for the first time.

Ragini (in mind): hottie Maheshwari.

Laksh: oh madam, stop drooling over me. Come here and help me.

He was standing holding the door of the washroom for support.

Ragini comes back to her senses and bites on her lips realising that he caught her checking him out. Her cheeks turns total red.

Ragini (to cover up): uhm, so what? I'm your wife and you are my husband. I can see you like this. It's my right because you are mine. This well built body of yours is for me only isn't it?

She asks with a raised eyebrow and a naughty look on her face.

Laksh was looking at her with an open mouth.

Laksh (in mind): this girl never thinks before saying anything.

Laksh: ha ha, now don't defend yourself. I know I'm impossible to resist. After all I'm hot. Right?

He asks smirking and his one eyebrow was raised up.

Ragini: ya, that's true.

She says trying hard to hide the blush on her face.

Laksh: now, you'll keep checking me out or will help me in moving to the bed?

Ragini nods. She goes towards him and holds his one hand with her one hand while her other hand was at his bare back. Both of them felt a shiver through their bodies when Ragini's hand came in contact with his body for the first time.

They looks at each other for a few seconds.

Ragini helps him in walking and makes him sit on the bed.

Laksh: huh, with one hand I somehow managed with the pants but this stupid shirt...

He says irritated.

Ragini chuckles.

Ragini: may I?

Laksh: then who'll?

Ragini smiles at this but soon her smile vanished when she noticed the wounds given by the glass pieces all over his body. Her eyes welled up with tears.

Laksh looks at her.

Laksh: what are you waiting for now?

He stops seeing her teary eyes.

Laksh (confused): why are you crying?

Ragini goes towards the cupboard and takes out an ointment from it. Without saying anything she starts applying it on his wounds.

Laksh was hissing in pain closing his eyes but Ragini was feeling his pain more than him.

She was applying the ointment with shivering hands and teary eyes. After it was done she wipes her tears. She takes the shirt in her hand.

Ragini: move your hand up.

She was making him wear the shirt carefully, not hurting him anyhow.

Just then Arjun enters.

Arjun: gm bhai bha....

He stops in middle.

Arjun (turning around): oh sorry. I'll come later.

Laksh: there's no need to do overacting.

Ragini chuckles.

Ragini: done!!

Arjun turns.

Arjun: morning romance haa... Not bad.

He says smiling naughtily.

Laksh glares him.

Laksh: shut up and don't waste your brain in thinking about useless things, use it in studies.

Arjun pouts.

Arjun: how are you feeling now?

Laksh: better

Arjun: I so badly want to hug you bhai.

He says cutely.

Ragini (under her breath): me too.

Laksh smiles at him. He signs him to sit beside him. Arjun does the same and Laksh side hugs him.

Laksh: if you want you can hug me.

Ragini: noo...

Laksh and Arjun looks at her confused.

Ragini: your wounds are still fresh. It'll pain you if anyone will hug you.

She says with concern filled voice.

Arjun: it's okay. I'll wait.

Laksh smiles at his baby brother.

Ragini: I'll bring your breakfast.

Laksh nods and Ragini leaves.

Just then Ryan and Sanskar enters.

Ryan: bhayu, the plan of the picnic is still on. We'll go when you will get fit and fine.

He says sitting at the other side of Laksh.

Laksh nods to him smiling.

Sanskar: bhai, you get well soon then I have to tell you something important.

Laksh: you can tell it to me now also.

He asks already knowing what he must be talking about.

Sanskar: no, it can wait.

Laksh just nods.

Ragini enters with the servants.

Ragini: guys, have breakfast.

The brothers smiles at her.

Ragini: Laksh, this is for you.

She says showing him a bowl in her hand.

Laksh: what's in it?

Ragini: khichdi

Laksh: yuck

He makes faces like a child. All chuckles.

Ragini goes to him and sits besides him.

Ragini: have it.

Laksh shakes his head. Ragini frowns.

Ragini: not again. Try it once. It's not that bad.

Laksh: then you eat it.

Ragini rolls her eyes at him.

Laksh: I don't understand why ill people are given this type of food? Instead of decreasing your sickness it increases it.

He says irritated.

All chuckles at his statement.

Laksh: what's there to laugh?

All four: nothing...

Ragini: these things will not work. You have to eat it.

Laksh surrenders and starts eating it unwillingly.

Two weeks passed with Raglak's cute fights. They were opening up with each other and were knowing each other. Ragini was taking care of Laksh like a child because nowadays he's behaving like a child only😂. She is enjoying and loving his another side. Laksh was recovering well. He can walk himself now. In every two days he goes to meet the doctor of course forcefully😂. In these days he was irritated because he was having nothing to do and Ragini didn't give him his gf till now. Aryan is working on the case and he visits Laksh twice in a week. Trio sisters also visits MM in every two or three days. Their exams also ended and all four are having holidays now. Ragini was feeling relived and worry free now because the one month of the dangers on Laksh's life according to the pandit has passed.

On a fine day.

Raglak's room:

Laksh was sitting on the bed when his brothers enters into the room and stands right in front of him. Laksh looks up at them and stands up.

Laksh: where were you three from the morning?

Ryan: we have gone to the hospital.

Laksh: why?

Arjun: to know about your health and ask the doctor if...

Laksh: if?

Sanskar: if we can hug you now?

Without waiting for anything trio takes him in a bone crushing hug keeping a little distance from his left hand.

Laksh was taken aback by their sudden attack. Losing the balance he falls on the bed along with the three.

Ragini was witnessing all this standing at the door. She was looking at them happily.

Trio were hugging him with all their strength.

Laksh: wohoo, relax my brothers. I can't breathe.

The brothers leaves him and all four sits properly. They looks at each other and burts out in a fits of laughter.

Ragini was just adoring them without disturbing them.

They again hugs each other.

Ryan: bhayu, we didn't hurt your hand na?

Laksh: no, I'm fine.

Trio (teary eyes): we love you bhai.

Laksh: I love you more. Now, don't get senti.

Ragini: ahem ahem...

All looks at the door.

Ryan: bhabhi, come na.

Arjun: you can also hug your husband now.

He says winking at her.

Ragini blushes while Laksh hits him on the back of his head.

Sanskar: let's go.

Arjun and Ryan nods and leaves.

Ragini looks at Laksh with love filled eyes. Laksh signs her to come closer to him.

Ragini moves towards him. He holds her hand and takes her in his embrace. Ragini smiles and tightens her grip on him.

Laksh smiles at this.

Ragini: now, I can sleep hugging you. I got my teddy back.

She says happily like a kid.

Laksh chuckles.

Just then his phone starts ringing.

Laksh breaks the hug and Ragini pouts. He picks up the call.

Laksh: yes Aryan say.

Aryan: buddy, you need to come to the police station right now. The truck driver has opened his mouth and told us about the person who gave him money for doing your accident. We got the culprit.

Laksh: uhm, okay. I'm coming.

He disconnects the call.

Ragini: what he said?

Laksh tells her everything that Aryan told him.

Ragini: I'll come with you. I want to know who that person is? I'll not leave him.

She says with an anger filled tone.

"We too" says the trio brothers standing at the door.

Laksh: but...

He stops seeing the determination on their faces.

Laksh: ok

Police Station:

All five enters. Aryan smiles at them and hugs Laksh.

Trio brothers (angrily): who's he?

Their blood was boiling with anger.

Aryan (to a constable): bring him here.

The constable nods and leaves. He comes back after sometime.

The brothers and Ragini were looking at the person shocked.

All five: you...

And the person's face is revealed to be........................................
