All reaches the temple.

Laksh was looking at people with wide eyes because all men were ascending the stairs picking their wives in their arms😉. He then looks towards his brothers.

Arjun: come on bhai pick bhabhi in your arms.

Laksh looks at him shocked.

Laksh: what?

Sanskar: yes, it's the ritual of this temple that every newly married man steps up the stairs picking his wife in his arms.

Laksh looks towards Ragini who was giving the most innocent look she can😂.

Laksh: I'm not going to do anything like this.

Trio: you will do it.

Ryan: you can't step back bhayu. Waise bhi, what's the problem? She's your own wife.

He chuckles saying this. Arjun and Sanskar too joins him.

Laksh looks at them irritated. He goes towards Ragini and picks her in his arms. She keeps both her hands around his neck. She was blushing and smiling inwardly😁. Her heart was jumping in happiness.

Trio brothers smiles.

The brothers were walking ahead of Raglak.

Laksh: you are so heavy.

Ragini looks at him with wide eyes.

Ragini: haww, I'm a slim and fit woman. Look there....

She signs towards a direction.

Laksh looks there and was shocked as a man was struggling to step up the stairs, picking his too fat wife in his arms. That man was sweating badly and his face was red.

Laksh gulps. He then looks towards Ragini and her figure. Ragini was looking at him with raised eyebrow.

Ragini: now say!! You are very lucky that you got a wife like me, with zero size figure.

Laksh: zero size, really?

Ragini nods.

Laksh gives her "whatever" look.

Ragini was all the time looking at him lovingly.

Ragini: are you tired?

Laksh: huh, it's not any difficult task so that I'll be tired.

Ragini smiles.

Soon the stairs came to an end.

Laksh puts her down and all goes towards the god's idol. They joins their hands in front of the god and prays.

Ragini (in mind): god, keep both of my families happy always. And keep all the black eyes away from my love.

Laksh (in mind): god, I just want my brothers to be happy always and her sisters also. And ya give my WIFE a little mind.

They takes blessings from the pandit.

Laksh and his brothers moves a little away. Just then a friend of Ragini comes there.

Friend: hey Ragini, how are you yaar?

Ragini: I'm absolutely fine. You say.

Friend: I haven't come in your wedding. Where's your husband? Will you not introduce him to me?

Ragini smiles and looks towards Laksh.

Ragini: Mr Maheshwari...

Her friend looks at her weirdly.

Ragini: Mr Maheshwari...

Laksh hears her voice and turns towards her.

Laksh: what?

Ragini: come here

She signs him through her hands. Laksh comes there.

Ragini: uhm, he's my husband Mr Maheshwari.

Friend: nice to meet you Mr Maheshwari.

Laksh smiles at her.

Laksh: same here. (to Ragini) chale...

Ragini: you go ahead I'm coming.

Laksh nods and leaves.

Friend: Ragini, why don't you call your husband with his name or any other name like couples calls each other? Mr Maheshwari looks professional.

Ragini thinks that she's saying right.

The friend bids bye to her and leaves.

Ragini again joins her hands infront of god.

Just then another very old pandit comes there. He looks at her.

Pandit: newly married?

He asks seeing her mehendi filled hands and chuda. Ragini nods smiling.

Pandit: where's your husband?

Ragini points towards Laksh who was talking to his brothers.

The pandit's face becomes serious. He looks towards Ragini and then towards Laksh again and again.

Ragini was looking at him confused.

Ragini: what happened pandit g?

Pandit: nothing beta. You children of this generation will not believe in it.

Ragini scares a little.

Ragini: no pandit g, I do believe in god and all these things. You tell me what's bothering you.

Pandit: beta, I'm saying this by looking both of you and by my experience. The coming month is going to be very tough for your husband. His life is in danger.

Ragini gets shocked at that.

Ragini: what?

Pandit: yes my dear. I'm not saying this to scare you but that's the truth. Take care.

He keeps his hand on her head and leaves from there.

Ragini was standing there motionlessly. She looked towards Laksh who was laughing while talking with his brothers.

Laksh looks towards her and signs her to come.

She just nods and moves towards the brothers.

Sanskar: let's go now.

Everyone nods and leaves for their house.

Laksh was driving and Ragini was sitting beside him. Three of the brothers were at the back seat. Ragini was all the time looking at Laksh.

Ragini (thinks): was pandit g saying true? His life in danger. Nooo... it can't happen.

She was shaking with fear.

Soon they reached MM. Everyone dispersed to their rooms.

Raglak room:

Laksh immediately leaves for the washroom. Ragini sits on the bed deep lost in her thoughts.

The pandit's words were ringing in her mind "your husband's life is in danger". She closes her eyes to get rid of it.

Ragini: nothing will happen to him Ragini. Stop thinking negative. He's absolutely fine. But in the morning... no no it just happened because he didn't sleep properly last night. He himself said that he's fine. Nothing is to worry.

She was continuously assuring herself.

Just then the door of the washroom opens and Laksh comes out wiping his face with towel.

Laksh: was she your college friend?

Ragini looks at him and nods. Thinking about the friend another thing came in her mind.

Ragini: Mr Maheshwari...

Laksh: hmm...

Ragini: wo actually uhmm... I was... hmm... me... saying...

Laksh looks at her confused.

Laksh: what? Say it properly.

Ragini: can I call you by your name?

Laksh raises his one eyebrow at her.

Ragini: I mean I call you Mr Maheshwari and it looks like I'm not calling my husband but business partner. It looks very professional.

Laksh: have I ever said to you not to call me with my name?

A servant comes there and starts making coffee.

Ragini nods. She takes the tray from him and leaves the kitchen.

On the way she meets Arjun.

Ragini: Aru, where's your bhai?

Arjun: bhai is in study room.

He points towards the study room's direction.

Ragini nods and leaves.

Arjun smiles seeing her taking care of Laksh's every small thing.

Study room:

Ragini knocks on the door.

Laksh: come in.

Ragini enters and finds him busy with his files.

Laksh (without looking at her): keep the coffee on table.

Ragini keeps the coffee on the table.

Ragini: Mr Mahe... Laksh...

She says closing her eyes.

Laksh looks at her. He smiles seeing her closed eyes.

Laksh (thinks): for taking my name she needs to close her eyes. Waah...

He takes the coffee and starts drinking it.

Laksh: now, you'll keep standing here closing your eyes or will say anything?

He says looking in his files again.

Ragini opens her eyes and bites on her tongue cutely.

Ragini: wo, I don't have the habit of calling you by your name na that's why.

Laksh nods understandingly.

Laksh: now say, what you were saying?

Ragini: I was saying that dinner will be ready in half an hour. Ok

Laksh nods.

Laksh: waise, why you came? Any servant would have brought the coffee.

Ragini comes out of the washroom after changing into her night saree and was shocked seeing Laksh laying on the couch.

Ragini: why are you sleeping here?

Laksh: you sleep on the bed. I'll sleep here.

Ragini (thinks): I knew it.

Ragini: why?

Laksh: I have promised your sisters that I'll take care of you that's why I'm letting you sleep on my bed otherwise you would be the one to sleep here, on the couch. And I don't want you to do any melodrama in front of my brothers and your sisters that I made you sleep on the couch.

He says a little dramatically.

Ragini rolls her eyes at him.

Ragini: we both can sleep on the bed.

Laksh looks at her with mouth wide open.

Laksh: what?

Ragini: I'm just saying to sleep on the bed not to kiss me.

She says with a naughty smirk.

Laksh's eyes literally popped out seeing her expressions.

Laksh (in mind): I never knew that my imagination will come true this much early. She's looking same as I thought😲.

Laksh: huh, I'm good here only.

Ragini: arre, how can I forget that it'll be difficult for you to control yourself seeing your beautiful wife having zero size figure sleeping besides you.

Laksh: shut up!! What are you saying, idiot?

Ragini pouts. He covers himself with the blanket.

Ragini (thinks): Ragini, this idea didn't work. Think something else.

Ragini: how will you sleep on it? Last night also you didn't sleep properly.

Laksh (still under the blanket): I'll manage.

Ragini (whispers): stubborn...

She smirks seeing the water jug on the table. She picks it up and spills some water from it on Laksh, intentionally.

Laksh get's up with a jerk.

Laksh: what the hell?

Ragini: sorry sorry... I was going to change the water of the jug and it accidentally fell on you. I'm so sorry.

Laksh (gritting his teeth): what else can be expected from you? You are just good for nothing.

He takes out some other clothes and goes to change.

Ragini empties the entire water of the jug on the couch smiling sheepishly.

Laksh comes out. He looks at the couch shocked.

Laksh: it's all wet.

Ragini nods like an innocent kid.

Laksh: where will I sleep now?

Ragini: you can sleep on the half of my bed. I'll not mind.

She shows him all her teeth.

Laksh: your bed, seriously!!

Ragini nods.

Having no other option Laksh goes towards the bed.

Ragini smiles widely seeing it but soon her smile vanishes seeing him making a wall of the cushions on the bed. Ragini huffs.

Laksh: you sleep on the left and I'll sleep on the right.

Ragini nods making faces but soon smirks.

Ragini (thinks): do you really think that this stupid wall can keep you away from me? Then you are wrong Mr Laksh Maheshwari.

Laksh lays on his side and Ragini on her's.

Laksh (in mind): uff, first day as a married man. He remembers what all happened throughout the day. My brothers are cracks and their bhabhi also. But she cooks well. (He thinks looking at Ragini who was PRETENDING to sleep😂.) She's not that heavy😂 but I like to see her irritated face. She always annoy and irritate me then I can do it as well. One thing I must say that she's taking care of the house very well from the first day and I just want only this from her. But what comes into her sometimes that she starts behaving weird and starts talking anything? (He thinks remembering what all she said about kiss and control😂😜.) She's not so innocent as she looks. Her mind is filled with naughtiness. Last night also she was talking nonsense😑. I can't believe that I'm sleeping with her on the same bed, huh. I hope she don't have any habit of kicking people in sleep😂. But whatever it is, now she's my wife and I can't change this fact. Hope she'll become a little mature living with me.

He closes his eyes.

After about an hour.

Laksh was already asleep but not Ragini.

She moves towards Laksh's side to confirm whether he's asleep or not. She smiles finding him sleeping. She keeps the cushions aside and hugs him. Her head was on his chest so that she can hear his heartbeat.

Ragini (in mind): now I'm at my right side and right place. (She again remembers the pandit's words.) I'll not let anything happen to you. I'll always stand infront of you as your sheild. Everything will be good.

The fear she was having in her heart from the time she met that pandit vanished feeling him near her. She was feeling complete while hugging him and was smiling wholeheartedly.

Ragini (whispers): good night my love.

Next: something unexpected for Arjun and Ryan in the college. Swasan meeting. Raglak joining their work again. It's late night but Laksh hasn't come home yet and Ragini is tensed.
