Lucy's View

  I wake up early this morning. The sun was shining bright through the window. Groggily, I wipe my tired eyes. Natsu still laid fast asleep next to me. I smile as I run my fingers through his lush, pink hair. I stand up and stretch. I slip on a t-shirt and shorts, grab my bag, and tie back my hair into two low pigtails. Then, I write a note and leave it on the nightstand. I gently kiss him on his forehead. 

"See you later, Natsu." I whisper quietly as I exit the room and then the house.

  I slowly walk to the guild. It was a quiet, peaceful morning. Few people walked the streets of Magnolia. As I walked, I held a pen and a notepad in my hand. 

"Who to choose... Hmm...."

  I had to make the tough decision of choosing my bridesmaids and a maid of honor. I was stumped. It was a difficult decision to choose. Natsu and I already agreed that we wanted Wendy and Carla to be the flower girls and Happy to be the ring bear. When I asked him who he choose as his best man, he laughed and said that it was a secret for now. Now it was my turn to choose my bridesmaids and maid of honor.

"Levy-chan is definitely on the list. So is Erza, and Mira-san. Hmm...."

  I was trying to think of who else. 

"Maybe Cana and Juvia.... Yes! That will be good! Now which of them will be the maid of honor. Hmm..."

  I was completely stumped. They all could make a great maid of honor. I didn't want to hurt anyones feelings by picking one over the other but I had to make the choice.

Cana probably get drunk at the reception so not her. Juvia would be to distracted by Gray so not her. Erza is well... Erza so not her. 

  Now it was down between Levy and Mira. They both would make a great maid of honor. They both are nice and sweet. This was a tough decision. 

"Okay. I got it!"

  I had the winner in mind. Now I just had to ask each of them if they be a bridesmaid at my wedding.

  I entered the guild. It was very quiet since it was early in the morning. All of them were here though. First, I went to talk to Erza. She was sitting at a table eating a slice of strawberry cake.

"Hello Erza."

"Hey Lucy." 

"Having cake this early in the morning?"

"Yeah. It was just made."

  As she took a bite, her face lite up like that of a child.

"So, umm.. Erza..."

  She looked me directly in the eyes.

"I was wondering if you'd be-"

"Yes! I'd love to be a bridesmaid!" she said instantaneously.

"Gr-Great!" I said, a little startled by her sudden outburst. "I'm going shopping later for dresses once I talk to everyone else so meet in front of the guild in an hour."

"Got it." she said and then went back to eating her cake.

  I then went to talk to Juiva, who was standing behind a pole watching Gray.

"Hey Juvia."

"Shh! Juvia is trying to listen to Gray-sama!"

"But Ju-"

"Shh!!"

  She was intensely listening to Gray, who was speaking to Elfman and Laxus.

"Juvia it's important though."

  She turned her attention towards me.

"I wanted to know if you would be a bridesmaid at my wedding."

"Yes!" she said. "Juvia will have Gray-sama be her date to the wedding."

  She went into a Gray daze.

"Well... umm... meet in front of the guild in an hour to go dress shopping. Okay?"

  She didn't respond in her Gray dream state but I'm pretty sure she heard me. Now it was on to Cana, who was sitting on the counter drinking booze. 

"Oi Lucy! Come have a drink with me!" she hollered as she chugged down a mug of beer.

"I'm good. I actually wanted to ask you something."

"What's up?"

"I wanted to know if you'd like to be a bridesmaid at my wedding?"

"I'd love to. Another question though. Will there be booze there?"

"Y-Yes but-"

"Great! This will be fun."

  I sigh.

"Be in front of the guild in an hour. We'll be going shopping for dresses."

"Got it!" 

  She gives me a thumbs up before continuing to chug down her beer. The next person I go to is Mira, who is working behind the counter.

"Hey Lucy. How are you?" asks Mira with a kind smile on her face.

"I'm good. I do have a lot on my mind though."

"It must be hard to plan a wedding."

"It is but it will all be worth it." I say as a smile forms on my face.

"I hope you and Natsu have a wonderful wedding. It will be nice to see Natsu settled down."

"Thanks Mira. Oh! By the way, I wanted to ask if you would be a bridesmaid at my wedding."

"Of course."

"Great! Meet up outside the guild hall in an hour for dress shopping."

  Mira smiles and nods before going back to work. The last person I approach is Levy-chan, who is sitting next to Droy and Jet.

"Hey Levy-chan!"

"Hi Lu-chan! What's up?"

"Nothing much. I actually wanted to ask you something."

  Before Levy can respond, she is interrupted by Droy and Jet's argument.

"We should do this job!" hollers Jet.

"No! This one!" replies Droy.

"G-Guys." I try to say but they're constant yelling interrupts me. 

  Levy then intervenes. 

"Stop! If you can decide then I'll choose for you."

"That's our Levy of team Shadow Gear!" they both say in unison. 

  Levy studies the two papers and points to the one that Droy is holding. He shines a victorious smile at Jet who sneers in reply. The two then get up and head off for the job themselves.

"Sorry about that Lu-chan."

"It's okay Levy-chan."

"So, what did you need to tell me?"

"I wanted to ask if you'd do me the honor of being my maid of honor."

"Oh of course Lu-chan! I'd love to be your maid of honor!"

  She smiled and gave me a tight hug.

"Meet up outside the guild hall in an hour. We are going dress shopping."

"Got it!"

  After an hour, everyone was waiting outside the guild hall.

"Is everyone ready for shopping?" I ask.

"Yup!" they all reply in unison.

  We then all begin walking over to the boutique called Belles Robes de Mariée et Plus. I heard they have beautiful wedding dresses and bridesmaids dresses. We enter the boutique. 

"Wow." we all say in awe.

  Everyone then spreads out looking at all the dresses. I was so overwhelmed by everything here. I had to stay in budget though. Natsu and I set aside about 10,000 jewels for a wedding dress and 2,000 for bridesmaid dresses. I took a deep breath. Before I could start looking for my dress, everyone had ran up to me with what they wanted to be their dress. Each dress was completely different. 

"Uh..." I was dumbfounded. "Th-They are all pretty but-"

"Mine is perfect!" hollers Erza.

  Her dress looked more like a cosplay outfit.

"Mine is much better" says Cana.

  Her's was a bikini basically.

"Gray-sama will love Juvia's." said Juvia.

  Her's was basically lingere. Mira was holding a green dress while Levy held a blue dress.

"G-Guys... Actually I wanted each of you to wear the same dress and-"

"Mine is the way to go then." stated Erza boldly.

"Like we wear cosplay to a wedding. Mine is perfect." snarked Cana.

"Juvia's is the best!" hollered Juvia.

  Mira and Levy, the only leveled headed of them, put away their dresses and calmed the other three down.

"Go ahead Lucy." said Mira.

"Th-Thanks. So, as I was saying, I wanted them to be the same and to go wtih the theme of our wedding."

"Theme?" asked Levy.

"Mhm. Our wedding is set right around the time of the Cherry Blossom Festival. So, I wanted you all to wear something pink. I had an Idea actually."

  I walked over to a rack and pulled off a dress. It was a short, spaghetti strap, pink dress with a ruffled bottom and a semi darker ribbon tied around the waist line. 

"I thought this would be perfect. Maybe get some cherry blossoms to add to the ribbon around the waist line."

"It's perfect." says Mira.

"I'd have to agree." says Erza.

  Everyone else nods. I breathe a sigh of relief. Getting five of these dresses together puts us right under the budget, coming to a total of 1,500 jewels. I grab a few cherry blossom acessories to raise the total to 1,800 jewels. 

"Now I just have to find my dress." I state.

  Now everyone looks around and hands me different dresses to try on. I even pick out a few myself. After trying on multiple dresses. I finally find the one. It was a long, white, strapless dress with a sweet heart neckline and a princess bottom. The top half off the dress was ingraved with tiny diamonds. I then pick out a necklace, earrings, and a tiara and veil to match it. Everyone looked at me in awe. Then, I look at the total price. My whole mood changes.

"I'm out of budget."  I sigh.

  The dress itself was 14,000 jewel plus the extras made it total of 15,000 jewel.

"I guess I'd have to find a new dress."

"Don't do that Lu-chan. I can lend you some money." says Levy.

"Me too." says Mira.

"Me three." says Erza.

"Me four." says Cana.

"Juvia five." says Juvia.

"Everyone..." I start crying. "Th-Thank you so much!"

  They all gather around and hug me. 

"You deserve to have a great wedding, Lucy." sasy Erza.

  Thanks to their kindness, I was able to get all the dresses and accesories for the wedding. Though this trip was hetic, I knew this was going to be the best wedding ever.
