Our community is a wall
A wide tall proud wall
Every brick is different
Every brick makes us a whole
But we all belong to this community and we will be proud
Bricks fall off by the second, new ones join too
But then 50 are knocked off
50 of the bravest
50 of the kindest
And 50 of the most vulnerable
It's harder to be proud now
How can you be proud when your community is hated?
How can you be strong when your peers are taken away?
How can you be brave when you know you could be next?
But we won't give up
We're gonna keep on fighting
Every smile will be a blessing and every tear will be a lesson
We won't be blocked out
We won't be pressed down
Because our wall is still standing
We are the LGBT community and we will always be proud
