7 Year Old Natsu's Pov, 

I was getting ready to leave the castle to go to Fireflies Caves. I put on my red jumper with signature scarf lining with my brown bottoms. I loved going there, my father used to say it was my mothers place where she met her friend. I always wanted to meet my mother but a stupid war stopped me. I knew that she loved me with all her heart even thought we only had some moments together. I watched as one of our knights in training Gray walked past my room dropping some paper on the ground. I walked over picking it up.

Dragons are the strongest creatures of the currently existing! So why should we, who had such power knowledge and wisdom out of our ancestors - endure encroachments of these pitiful fellows on our territory? Why should we, Dragons, be silent?! If people want war, they will get it. I'm telling you about that, I'm your King!
Letter from The King Of Red Kingdom

I sighed shaking my head. Father wanted another war. He had never even met a human and wanted war with them. I threw the paper on the ground and ran down the stairs of the castle and headed toward my secret exit in the garden. In the blood red rose bushes there was a gap in the wall around the castle that showed a path heading to Fireflies Caves. It was how I found the caves. I then headed to the bushes as I heard my father calling my name. I turned around fast to see him walking over to me. My father was pretty tall with pale skin with red scales here and there on his skin. 

He had dark red hair and onyx eyes. His wings were like mine, blood red with dark brown horns on our heads. He was wearing a white top with black bottoms with a King's red robe on. "Natsu your going to the caves again ain't you?" Father asked crossing his arms as I nodded, rubbing the back of my neck. He soon sighed shaking his head. "Be back before dark" he then ordered as I smiled nodded. I thanked him and went through the bushes to see the gap and the path. I started running down the path, heading towards the cave.

6 Year Old Lucy's Pov, 

I was my blue dress getting ready to go to Fireflies Caves. My mother always talked about them but as it was my 6th birthday yesterday she was very sick and weak to take me. So I decided to go alone. I had my powers so I knew I would be safe. I also had my training from Erza a knight in training. Even though she could beat most of the knights we had. I saw my personal maid Virgo walk down the hallways dropping a letter on the ground. I rushed over picking it up, I was about to give it back but I got noisy. I looked at the letter.

Human beings are the superior race. Humans are the master of nature's gifts, legitimate children of it, and nobody except then isn't allowed to live there. Neither sea creatures, not fiery demons or monsters of the sky. So let'sn't let them win what rightfully belongs to us, to the Superior race! Let's not allow out of history to sink into oblivion!

King Fiore's letter

I sighed upset. My father just wanted a war with the dragons. I betted that he had ever seen one. I was most likely right. I headed to the garden as my mother told me that the path to the Fireflies Caves was past the pretty pink rose bushes. I moved behind them, to see a whole in a wall and a path. I smiled excited as I ran along the path. It was quiet a walk but I soon saw a giant oak tree with a glowed whole at the bottom. I walked inside the tree to see I was in a cave, fireflies everywhere. Glowing the place up. I looked around in 'woah'.

It even had a small lake in one of the corners. "Hi there" I heard a boys voice making me jump and turn my head to see a young boy with pink hair and onyx eyes giving me a toothy grin. He had dark blood red wings on his back and was wearing a light red jumper with got lining with brown bottoms. He also had a scarf. "Call me Natsu. I'm a dragon" He offered his hand for a handshake as I was a little shy. He was a dragon. He seemed like a nice person. "And I'm Lucy. And I'm human" I replied taking his hand as we shook hands.

"Look the swans froze in place. Also the fireflies one after another" Natsu then pointed out making me watch.

4 Year's Later, Ten Year Old, Lucy's Pov, 

Natsu and I met at the Fireflies Caves nearly everyday. We grew close and he even grew dark brown horns. I also learned he was the Prince Of Dragons and he learned I was Princess Of Fiore. I trusted him. He was my best friend. "Natsu what if our kingdom's go into war?" I asked scared as I we was sitting outside on the grass. Well I was sitting while Natsu was laying on the grass. I was scared that we would be made to fight each other. I didn't want to fight my best friend. Natsu turned his head and gave me his smile. He soon sat up smiling at me.

"We won't allow anything to ruin our friendship!" he proclaimed and then showed me his pinkie finger. "Promise" he then added as I smiled and then placed my pinkie finger around his. "Promise" I replied happy that I had met Natsu. Happy that we was friends.......

Eleven Year Old, Natsu's Pov, 

Lucy and I were pretty close. I felt like I wanted to be more than best friends. I knew we was too young for that though. So I kept quiet. Lucy and I then laid down looking at the night sky. There was a shooting star. "Natsu make a wish" Lucy nearly shouted excited as I looked at her confused. "Why?" I asked as she looked at me a little shocked and then just smiled at me. "It's a human thing we see a shooting star and we make a wish" Lucy explained as I nodded. We look back at the sky as I wished that one day, Lucy and I could be more than best friends.

I then turned my head a little to see her smiling at the sky. I was glad that I met her. I was glad that I could call her mine.....
