This one-shot was inspired by "Love Language" by the Jubilee Project. I suggest reading the one-shot before watching the video, because, spoilers, haha.
Enjoy :)

Today was the most beautiful day to her. The sun was shining, the temperature was warm with a light breeze that would often blow through her hair and bring her comfort. On days like this, all she would want to do is go outside and that's exactly what she did. There was a spot that she would consider her own. It was at a park where couples would walk along the sidewalks, children would beg their mothers for money to get an ice cream cone, and those with thoughts consuming them would accompany themselves in the calming atmosphere. There was a specific bench where this 19 year old woman would sit and open her notebook, preaching her own thoughts in the form of words. Her every emotion and dream laid in ink on the white paper only for her to see. And so she did what she would do on any other beautiful day: sit on that fateful bench, put in her earphones, and write what she was feeling.
He hated days like this. Too many people were around and he didn't like crowds. In fact, he didn't really like being around people period. However, he's a rational man. It's a nice day, he'll go outside, but he won't associate himself with crowds. Usually on days like today, he would go for a very long walk and let his steps decide where his destination will be. Sometimes he would find a spot to sit and do school work for his college classes if there weren't many people around and simply enjoy the day's weather. And so on that day, he happened to get tired of walking while in a peaceful park. Sighing, he found a spot to sit at, but felt a hint of dismay when he spotted the bench.
There was a quiet girl.
By then, he made the decision to sit on the same bench as her, because she seemed to not have the intention of speaking a word. Once he was seated, he opened up his backpack and took out a notebook to do school work. Shuffling through his bag, he felt irritated at the fact that he didn't bring a pen. His eyes averted to the girl next to him. She was a strange sight with her abnormal pink hair, but she looked at peace nonetheless. Seeing she had a pen in her hand and another pen next to her, he decided the best thing to do was politely ask the girl to use the writing utensil.
Giving her a look before opening his mouth, he hesitantly asked, "Excuse me?"
He stared at her, waiting eagerly for a response. To his dismay, she ignored him, engulfed in whatever song she was listening to and what she was writing. Giving her a light tap on the shoulder, she turned her head with her eyes slightly wide.
"Can I borrow your pen?" He asked.
The girl gave him an awkward smile and motioned to her earphones, giving him the impression that she couldn't hear because she was listening to music. He made a writing motion with his arm, almost like playing a game of charades so she could understand to give him the pen. The expression on her face after made him realize she understood and she gave him the pen, smiling in the process.
He truly wanted to focus on his schoolwork, but the girl next to him clouded his mind. The man didn't understand it, but she seemed slightly mysterious and he was really curious about her. Sighing in defeat, he placed the pen back next to her and she looked at him. He nodded a thank you and departed from her.

The following day was also beautiful and the man anticipated on going to the same spot in the park. He walked along the pavement and felt a hint of satisfaction once he saw pink hair. Sitting down next to her, she gave him a small smile. This time, he brought his own pen and he intended to use it. Taking a sticky note pad and a pen out of his backpack, he wrote a few words and showed it to the girl sitting next to him.
-What's your name?
She gave him another small smile and took the sticky note pad from him to write something of her own.
-Sakura. And you?
He couldn't help but smirk at the name. It suited her perfectly. He began writing down something else, planning on having a conversation with her.
-Sasuke. What are you listening to?
She stared blankly for a second before responding with another sticky note.
-A song I deem very special to me.
Sasuke's eyes softened at her response.
-I'd like to have a listen someday.
-Maybe someday :)
-Well, Sakura, I'd like to see you again.
Sakura looked up at him and gave him a small smile, almost as if agreeing with his wishes.

Sasuke's mind was focused on the textbook he was reading. His mind didn't drift anywhere else as he was seated at the same bench in the park, Sakura not next to him. About to read the next paragraph in his textbook, he was cut off when a sticky note was placed on the page he was reading.
-Hey there.
He gave her a slight smirk while he reached in his bag with his own sticky note.
-Nice to see you again, but you're late.
-I'll try to be earlier next time, deal?
-It's a deal.
-What are you reading?
-I'll tell you if you let me hear what music you're listening to.
-Maybe later.
-I'm reading a biology book.
-What's your major?
-I'm not sure yet, I'm still in the process of figuring it out.
-I'm sure you'll choose the right career path eventually.
Throughout the rest of the afternoon, the two exchanged numerous sticky notes to each other that took up almost the whole gap that separated them. Sasuke was never the talkative type of guy, but she was very intriguing to him and he liked writing to her as opposed to talking.
-You said you'd let me listen to the song.
-Come by tomorrow.
He looked at her and she gave him a reassuring smile.

She was first at the bench this time and instead of Sasuke carrying a backpack, all he had was a stack of sticky notes and a pen in his hand. He internally smiled once he saw her and this time, he sat closer to her on the bench. Sakura grinned once she saw him and he built up the courage to get straight to the point as he was writing.
-So how about that song?
Sakura was hesitant once she read it, but nonetheless, she took the earphones out of her ears and slowly handed them to Sasuke. He blankly took them and inserted the pods into his ears, anticipating what song he would be listening to. The man grew confused. He couldn't hear anything. Nothing whatsoever.
He turned to Sakura with his eyebrows furrowed, "I don't understand, I can't hear anyth-"
Sasuke was cut off when she rose up her hands and began using sign language. She has a hearing disability. It took him a while to register what had just happened, but nonetheless, he looked down at a sticky note and began writing. Once he was finished with his sentence, he placed the sticky note on the page she was writing in her notebook.
-This doesn't change anything.
