Manik and Nandini came out of the Cafe' with a smile adoring their lips. He bid bye to her with a smile.

As he saw her going away he sat in his car and drove to his house to give his family a news.

On their way the smile was not at all leaving their face. Soon Manik reached his place and closing the door he left inside...as he entered he saw his family already waiting for him.

He moved inside more and everyone's eyes shined seeing him over there...they looked at him raising their eyebrows.

"Kya? Aise kyun dekh rahe ho sab?" Manik asked sitting on the sofa drinking water.

"Jawab bata...haan ya na?" Said Raj sternly making him frown.

"Aise kyun baat kar rahe ho aap?" Manik asked being confused to which others suppressed their laugh but to their bad luck he saw Cabir giggling.

He came to know that they are teasing and he replied " main Nandini se shadi nahi karunga!" He replied getting making all shock. They stood up shouting.

"Kyun?"

"Arey nahi karni mujhe shadi...toh...main jaa raha hun sone" he said stretching hid arms up and Cabir ran to him and said

"Yeh kya baat huyi bhai? Kuch din pehle toh muh latka hua tha...aur ab mana kar rahe ho shadi se?"

"Haan because mujhe woh achi nahi lagi... aur papa ko bhi toh nahi pasand woh...so forget it" he said moving further and dadi smacked Raj's shoulder making him whine.

"Arey beta Raj ji majak kar rahe hai..tu ita mat soch..." Neonika said to retiring figure of Manik...

"I have decided and I will not change!" Shouted Manik making others sad...

"Sab teri galti hai Raj...mana kiya tha phir bhi..." Dadi scolded Raj to which he replied

"Meri kya galti hai isme? Nandini usko pasand nahi aayi toh main kya karun?"

Manik saw them blaming each other...not wanting to tease them more he shouted from there itself.

"It's yes from me" saying this he entered to his room where as others looked at each other..and soon exclaimed.

"Yuppie!!!! Finally Nandini meri bhabhi banegi!!!" Saying this he ran to Manik's room where as others laughed a loud seeing him behaving like a baby.

"Raj Murthy's ko phone karo aur jara pata toh lagao ki Nandini ka kya kehna hai?" Dadi said to Raj to which he bobbed his head and took out his phone.

As Nandini came home she told her parents or should I say only Mahesh and Navya about her decision on getting married with Manik.

They both were hell happy as her answer was yes but somewhere Navya was little upset but she shoo them away as she was happy for her sister.

Anjali was happy too but didn't voice it out...but dadi was hell angry as the rishta was actually for Navya but Nandini will be the one who will get married and that too with Manik Malhotra.

"Jyada mat khush ho..us din agar Navya ki photo mili hoti unko toh shayad aaj iska rishta ho raha hota.." though dadi's words hurted her but she didn't say anything instead she ignored her totally.

Malhotra's informed Murthy's about the proposal and they decided to meet with family again the next day for confirming the alliance.

"Acha suno kal Malhotra's aa rahe hai yahan... Nandini aur Navya tum doni ready rehna Anjali tum aur main sab saman leke aate hai...aur maa aap please Nandini ko unke samne kuch mat kahiye" Saying this he left from there and Nandini and Navya left to their respective rooms.

Next day

Nandini came down talking to her friend and as she entered dadi spotted her and again commented on her dress.

" Acha hua aaj kuch dhang ka pehna hai."

Listening her Nandini frowned at her...she looked at herself and then again at her.

"Dadi main jo bhi pehnu aapko har kisise problem hai...yeh main pehne nahi wali thi par Navu di ne...chodiye aapko kyun bata rahi hun...aap toh samjogi nahi" Nandini replied gritting her teeths...before dadi could give her back they heard Manik's dadi's voice...they turned their gaze and smiled looking at them.

Pandit ji was sitting on the sofa and both the families were infront of him sitting waiting for him to remove good muhurat.

Manik and Nandini were gazing at each other alot of time and in between Cabir was teasing them making them blush.

Nandini's dadi was not at all interested in this. She was just fake smiling seeing Malhotra's over there for Nandini and not for Navya.

"Haa ji muhurat toh 2 mahine ke baad ka hai shadi ke liye...aur agle hafte sagai ke liye." Pandit ji said looking at them to which they smiled looking at each other.

"Acha hai toh phir...sagai aur shadi ke liye thoda bahut toh time mil hi jayega..." Manik's dadi replied to which Mahesh agreed.

After discussing something the pandit left from there...now only the family members were there.

"Toh Mahesh ji agle hafte sagai hai...vaise bhi aaj tilak ho gaya hai. Toh engagement kaha karni hai apko? I mean ghar pe ya kisi hotel mein?" Raj asked to Mahesh to which dadi replied

"Arey utna kyun karcha karna...ghar pe hi rakho aur sidhi sadhi"  listening her Malhotra's frowned but Nandini looked away not wanting to say anything though it hurt her.

"Maa aap chup rahiye... Raj ji meri actually wish hai ki Nandini ki sagai aur baki ki saare rasme yahan ho Murthy Mansion mein... agar aap logon ko koi apati na ho toh..." Mahesh replied to which Manik's dadi said

"Arey hume bhala kyun appati hogi hum toh bas chahate hai ki shadi puri rasmo aur rivaz se ho...aur kuch nahi"

Mahesh and others smiled except for Nandini's dadi. Others got busy in discussion and Manik was busy on the phone where as Nandini and Navya were talking among themselves get bored Cabir moved towards Nandini .

"Hi...bhabhi..."

Nandini smiled and wished him back. They talked for a while where as Navya felt left out now...she looked around when he gaze fell on dadi who called her near the kitchen.

She went towards her and Manik came to Nandini and Cabir who were laughing on Cabir's jokes.

"Kya baatein ho rahi hai tum dono mein?" He asked to which Cabir replied only to make his face bad.

" Kyun aap jal rahe ho?"  Nandini laughed listening him and Cabir aslo laughed.

They continued to talk where as here dadi said to Navya.

"Dekh rahi hai...sab logon ne tujhe kaise ignore kar diya...agar us din photo ka chakkar nahi hua hota na toh aaj tu Nandini ki jagah hoti aur aise has rahi hoti...tune na use lightly le liya hai...isliye aise mauke voh tujhse cheen rahi hai"

Listening her Navya just made a face and left from there not wanting to herr anything against her sister.
