I smiled at the direction my parents were knowing that they beamed back at me I looked back to the book Iwas reading my fingers skimming over the bumpy pages kicking my legs happily as a loud growl tore through the air I jumped looking up as the growl continued

"ALICE!" my parents yelled out

I leapt to my feet turning on my heels only to be tackled to the ground I cried outun able to see my enemy as my face was pushed over into the earth as the person shifted back turning my over I looked up to my capour who smirked down at me I shivered as he ran his long nails over my cheek

"what beautiful eyes you have" he whispered

I felt tears stream down my face I was so scared I was surprised that I didn't wet myself

"too beautiful for you" he hissed his eyes glowing a deep red

and he was the last thing I saw as his nails dove into my eyes I screamed from the combined pain from the death of my pack and the loss of my sight

I tried to pull away only diving his nails deeper

"please stop I begged ple----"

I woke up with a jolt my heart racing a mile a minute I rolled over on the ground dry heaving remembering that I had eaten nothing the night before

I rolled back holding my hand to my heart trembling against the ground no matter how many time I have had that dream it's as real as the day it happened

"we need to get moving Alice" Amber mywolf whispered "we need not dwell on the past,"

"what's don't is done" we whispered together as I slowly got to my feet

"watch for the log" she said and I jumped over it just in time as a smell drifted up my nose

"do you think we can risk it?" Amber asked I knew she was as hungry as I was

"I think we could try" I mumbled giving her enough control to allow me to see

and I saw it

the fattest rabbit I had ever seen

I wasn't sure how the damn thing could run being so big I crouched down low moving closer to it it's back turned to me a wolfish grin on my face as I pounced it let out a cry as I tackled it to the ground

it's death was swift and quick

half an hour later with a belly full of medium rare rabbit amber receeded in my mind happy and full

taking away the vision I cherished once again guiding me with her voice i reached for my napsack the handle catching on my hand I lifted it over my shoulder I had rubbed pine needles over the carcass toprevent any unwanted attention to find out I have food

I continued on my way amber guilding me over rocks and through the trees that was until harsh growls filled the air and fear instilled itself in my heart I swallowed hard

"run Alice" Amber yelled jogging me out of my fear

I sprinted through the forest my breath hard and eratic my fingers brushing the trees my nose in the air as I moved around them my useless eyes cealed shut my wolf whimpered inside my head

she knew we might get caught

my nose pointed into the air catching a wiff of something but I was too scared to take note

Amber began yelling at me to stop and saying a word that I wasn't able to hear I felt uncomfortable on the ground that I walked on and I knew this feeling all too well

"pack territory" I yelled at myself "how could I have stumbled on pack territory" I pushed myself to run faster as I heard snarling behind me

I took in the smell in front of me swerving to late I smashed into the wolf that was in front of me sparks shot along my skin

I leapt back into the body of another then I felt theclaws dive into sides and fangs in my shoulder I let out a scream squirming in the wolfs grip only causing him to bite deeper I heard a growl and suddenly the claws and fangs were not there any more

I fell to the ground pain completely enveloped my body as I fell unconciouse
