I'm going to start using 1st person POV again. Just to see how it turns out.

Mara's POV

It's so boring here, there's nothing good in Tracia. First Eevee runs away, sending the kingdom in a panic, then our kingdom is in debt, and now no one knows where my father is.

Great...

Just what I needed, more drama. I wish life could be normal here for once. I was currently sitting at the dining table with my mother, Espeon. Once again, we were waiting for my father to show up. He didn't, it's been over an hour and he wasn't here.

"Ugh, just eat Mara. Your father isn't going to be here tonight," Espeon told me. I nodded and began eating. After a few minutes, a Haunter came rushing in.

"Your majesty, the king has returned, and he's injured," Haunter exclaimed. This alarmed both of us. We got up and Haunter leads us to where my father was. Just as Haunter said, we arrive to see my father in bad shape.

"Honey!" Espeon exclaimed. She ran up to him to make sure he was ok. Instead of accepting her help, he shoved her away and growled at her. I knew that something must've happened when he was gone.

"We have no time for stupid hugs, we have an emergency," Umbreon told us. "Not only does Eevee have the fucking Plate Crystal, she's now in control of Cerberus!" We were both shocked to hear this.

"How is that possible?" I asked. He looked at me with a scowl on his face.

"The Prince of Amber, that's why! He helped her get Cerberus away from me and he also possesses the power of Pegasus!" Umbreon yelled.

I knew this was bad for us, from what I heard, the Prince of Amber was strong on his own already, but now he's even stronger. And Eevee has new powers as well.

"Well, what can we do? Are we doomed?" Espeon asked.

"No, at least not yet," He then looked at me and threw something at me. I caught it before it could hit me. I opened my paw and saw a purple crystal in my grasp.

"What's this?" I asked confused.

"The Dark Crystal, it's the opposite of the Plate Crystal. I want you to master its power to kill Eevee and Pikachu," My dad commanded. He stormed off, with my mom following.

How big of a threat is this guy? Can he destroy the entire kingdom? There's no way. I have to do some research on him. Dad did say he was a WBA fighter a while ago. Maybe the tournament is still going on. I walk down the long hallway and then into my room. I turned on my T.V and change through the channels, looking for the official WBA channel for Amber. I come across it, and what I see amazes me. A yellow mouse was holding up his opponent who was ten times his size, and he was spinning him around like a top. This couldn't be the prince? Could it?

"Look at that ladies and gentlemen, Prince Pikachu is lifting his opponent like a feather!" The announcer said through the screen.

Yep, that's him.

I couldn't believe how strong he was. I wonder if this is even his full strength. I then saw the prince throw the Pokemon he was spinning into a wall. The Pokemon he was spinning was revealed to be a Blastoise. This Blastoise was easily two-hundred pounds, and to be thrown by a Pikachu was pretty embarrassing. The Blastoise got up, he had an angry look on his face and glared at Pikachu. He then started glowing, the bright light blinded the screen, I had to look away for a bit. When I looked back, the Blastoise had Mega Evolved.

'I wonder how he'll do against that,' I wondered. Mega Evolution was no joke, with it, you can gain so much power from it. Judging by how quickly Blastoise Mega Evolved, he must be very experienced with it. Blastoise aimed his big cannon towards Pikachu and shot a powerful Hydro Pump at him. I thought Pikachu would dodge, but he just stood there. He formed his Electro Ball in his hands and started pushing against the Hydro Pump. I couldn't believe it, he was using it as a shield. He's impressive, he's able to use his attacks for a different purpose. I wonder what goes on in his mind when he fights.

Pikachu's POV

This Blastoise was no pushover, but it's nothing that I can't handle. I charged up my fist with Thunder Punch and punched the Electro Ball I was holding. It was enough to force it through the Hydro Pump and hitting Blastoise. He stumbled back a bit but was still standing.

"Careful Pikachu, I have a feeling that a field hazard will happen soon," Shinx warned me through my earpiece. I gave a nod and made my move. I charged for him with Volt Tackle, I saw him prepare a Skull Bash to counter me, I faked my attack and moved behind him, to which I slammed into his back and send him flying. He landed halfway across the field, but he was still up and ready to fight. I was about to attack again but then a loud BEEP was heard through the stadium. That meant a field hazard is happening.

"Spotters, join the fight," A computer voice said. Two blue beams were shot above the stadium, one hitting Shinx and the other hitting Blastoise's spotter, a Yanmega. They disappeared and then reappeared above the field. Shinx started screaming as she fell while Yanmega flew down. I quickly went under Shinx and caught her, just before she hit the ground. We look at each other while she's still in my arms.

"You ok?" I asked her, setting her down as I did.

"Y-yeah, I'm good," She replied to me. We looked to our opponents, Yanmega is a tricky one, considering it's really fast and is known for decapitating others. Along with that is its sonic airwaves that are deadly.

"We need to find a way to distract Yanmega without letting it get near us," I said to her.

"And with it in the air, we can't use our physical attacks to hit it," Shinx replied to me. "Hmm, maybe if we could change the wind current and throw it out of balance we can take him out."

I thought about it, it was a good idea, "But how can we change the air current?"

"Maybe I can help," I heard a voice speak. I knew who it was, I looked down at the ring on my arm. "Pegasus?" I wondered.

"Yes, it's me, I can help you do something better than just change the air current," Pegasus told me in an excited tone. Never thought a god would be so excited over a simple battle.

"Interesting, tell me," I said to her.

I could tell Shinx was confused, she then asked me, "Who are you talking to?" I told her it was Pegasus, her jaws dropped when she heard what I said. Pegasus told me about a new attack, by using Light Dash and spinning around in a circle. I gave a small nod and looked at Shinx.

"You up for a rodeo," I said, pointing towards Yanmega. He and Blastoise looked like they were thinking of a plan as well.

She smiled at me and said, "You know it," We both turned for them and started running to them. They noticed and the battle resumed.

Yanmega started to flap his wings and using his Air Slash attack towards us. We both were able to dodge all of them. I got my Iron Tail ready and aimed for Yanmega, but he just flew up and I missed. I redirected my attack to Blastoise, he blocked it with his arm. I changed to Thunder Punch and got a hit on his head. He was stunned for a bit so I turned my attention back to Shinx. She was trying to get to him, but to no avail.

I ran over and got myself ready to throw her up, "Shinx! Get ready," I said to her. She nodded towards me and ran to me. I put both my hands down and she stepped onto them. With a big heave, I threw her up in the air. It was high enough for her to get on Yanmega's back. I would focus more on her, but I still had to deal with Blastoise. I saw him back up and ready to fight. I gave a small chuckle and resume what we started.

Shinx's POV

Thank god Pikachu is strong enough to throw me up here, otherwise, this wouldn't work. As I was on his back, his wings were flapping so fast it sounded like a buzzsaw. I was a bit afraid to get near them, one touch and I'll lose some skin.

"Hey! Get off!" Yanmega yelled at me. He tried to shake me off by flying around violently. I managed to stay on him but barely. I acted quickly and used Discharge on him. He cried out in pain as I kept the attack up. Yanmega started flying around like crazy, we were going up and down, left and right, even doing barrel rolls as well. I managed to make him move away from the ground for a bit by moving my weight on him. I then moved my weight so that he was aiming for Blastoise. We were coming in fast, when we got close enough I jumped off and he hit Blastoise at full speed. I was falling, but Pikachu was there to catch me once again. I blushed slightly when he did, I hope he didn't see it.

"Thanks," I said to him and quickly got off of him. "Can we finish this fight now? I did not mentally prepare myself to fight today," I said to him.

He looked at me with a grin, "No problem, let me just-" He was cut off when he was blasted away by a Hydro Pump. I was so shocked that I didn't see Blastoise come up to me, grab me, and slam me on the ground, pinning me down. I tried to get out, but his fat ass was too heavy.

"Looks like this is the end of the road for you, little boy," Blastoise said in a taunting tone. I didn't care that he was pinning me down or that he was taunting me. I was more pissed that he called me a little BOY!

"I'm not a boy you fucking dick!" I yelled at him. He was surprised when he heard my voice and that I was a girl.

"W-what?" Blastoise exclaimed in confusion. I rolled my eyes at him.

"I'm a girl dumb ass, now are you gonna fight or just stare at me while I'm pinned down, I'm sure lot's of boys would love to be in your position," I said to him. Unfortunately, I was one of the 'attractive women' in the WBA and was the perfect eye candy for single men, even though I'm just over eighteen. Blastoise did nothing and continued to stare at me in shock. I had enough, I bit into his hand with Thunder Fang and he screamed in pain.

"Fucking worthless bitch!" I heard him yell before he threw me across the field. I landed with a hard thud and skidded on the ground. I got back up, but honestly, I didn't want to fight anymore. Not after that insult. I've heard it too many times already, I feel like I've been stabbed in the heart whenever someone says that to me. It just broke me, I don't fully know why, but it happens. I hope Pikachu ends this fight soon, I just want to leave.

Pikachu's POV

I saw Shinx just stand in the middle of the field after she got thrown. I knew something was wrong, she normally does this when someone insults her. I ran up to her to make sure she's ok.

"Are you ok?" I asked her. She looked at me with a sad look.

"Not really, I just want to leave," She told me. I put my hand on her shoulder to reassure her.

"Everything will be fine, how about this. After we get healed up we'll go on our date," I said to her. She looked at me with a more happier look, but still sad.

"I'd like that," She said. I nod and turn back to Blastoise and Yanmega. One of them had hurt her feelings, and I'm not gonna let them get away with it.

'This better work Pegasus' I thought. I turned to Shinx, "Get to the other side, trust me, you don't want to be near for it," I told her. Shinx nodded and ran to the other side of the field.

I look at Blastoise and Yanmega with a glare. The ring I had glowed brightly and I charged forward with Light Dash. When I got to them I started to circle them. I went faster and faster around them. All of a sudden a tornado slowly formed onto them. It got big really quick and they were sucked in. Debris was also being sucked in, I could tell from their screams that they were being hit by the debris. I stopped after a few seconds, I was dizzy, I couldn't see anything straight. What I did hear though was that me and Shinx won the fight. I'm guessing they didn't last long in the tornado. I was still dizzy from running in a circle around them, I saw something blue approach me. I knew it was Shinx in front of me.

Shinx's POV

"Pikachu! Are you ok?" I asked him. He was off balance and looked very dizzy.

"I-I'm ok," He said. He tripped when he tried to walk and fell right on top of me. We were both on the ground, with him on top of me. I was blushing like a rose, I had a dream that we were like this, but on a bed, and without millions of people watching. Pikachu got out of his dizziness and saw the position we were in, I saw him blush before getting off of me.

"Sorry," He apologized to me.

"It's fine," I replied as he helped me up. The crowd was still cheering for us for the victory. I didn't care though, I'm just glad it's over and that I helped him get to the next round. We looked at each other and smiled, I then say to him, "Go on, give them a bow."

He looked at me with a chuckle, "Only if you do it with me," He said.

"That's not my thing, besides, I didn't do much," I told him. He looked at me with a devious smile, I knew he was up to something.

"Well if you won't do it with me," He then grabbed my paw, making me blush, "I guess I'll bow to you then," He bowed down right in front of me while still holding my paw. The cheers got even louder than before. He got up and winked at me, I was a blushing mess. It was so embarrassing.

"Of all times why tease me now Pikachu," I asked him as we started walking off the field and into the tunnel.

"Because it's easy to do," He told me, "And think how many interviews you'll get when the press starts thinking we're a couple."

...

This motherfucker.

I knew he was trying something! He knows I hate talking to the press. Now I won't be able to avoid them for the rest of the tournament.

"Goddammit, Pikachu!" I exclaimed. He just laughed at my reaction. "I'll get you back for this Pikachu, I can promise that."

"You said that last time, and you only ended up embarrassing yourself more," Pikachu reminded me. Dammit, he's too good. I wanted to say something mean to him, but he's just too attractive. I couldn't resist.

"You're so lucky that I love you," I said to him as I rub up next to him. I didn't care if he heard my confession, he probably knew already.

"I could say the same to you," He said. "And that's one out of three to confess."

...

Dammit, he knew.

"How long have you known?" I asked him, embarrassed to find out.

He pretended to not know for a second, "I don't know, maybe it's all those times you snuck into my room and slept beside me every night," I start blushing. "Or the times when you wanted to 'practice kiss' a little too much," I blush more. "Or maybe the time you moaned my name so loud at the hotel when you 'went to bed early'."

"Ok, I get it!" I exclaimed. I was so embarrassed that he knew all this, especially the last one.

"Do you know about the others as well?" I asked.

"Sure do, Buizel's trying too hard to hide it, and Eevee isn't trying enough to hide it," He told me. At least he knows the other two like him as well.

I didn't know what to say to him after that. He already knew I had a crush on him, but I don't know if he likes me back. It felt so weird now. We didn't say anything to each other for a while, causing an awkward silence between us. I suddenly remembered that we had a date tonight, because of Greninja, and I didn't have anything for it. I started panicking and knew I had to get help.

"I-I'll meet you at five," I told him and ran off. I got to my room and called Braixen, I'm sure she'll be able to help me.

I hope.

Mara's POV

Seems the prince is no joke to mess around. I'm going to have to do a lot of research if I want to defeat him.

I take another look at him, he's... cute. No, I can't fall in love again, dad would kill me if I fell in love with the enemy. But... I can feel something about him. He's not like other, I can tell they by just looking at him on T.V, he's got the strength, the looks, the skill, the personality, he's got it all. He's the dream guy I would kill for.

But dad will kill me, I can't be with him. But maybe... maybe I can make him for myself. I do have this crystal after all. Maybe I can make him fall in love with me.

Yes, that's what I'm going to do. I'm going to disobey my father and take Pikachu for myself. I can see it all now, us together, married, and maybe some kids. Maybe I'm thinking too far but a girl can dream. No, this won't be a dream. I'll make this a reality, a perfect reality.

3rd person POV

Pikachu entered into his hotel room, it was 2:30, he had a few hours before his date with Shinx. He cursed under his breath to Greninja for forcing him into this. Pikachu walked to the bed and saw his mother and a now awake Eevee in there. Eevee looked shaken up but overall seemed ok.

"You ok Eevee," He asked. Eevee nodded but stayed silent.

"I just explained all the guardian stuff to her," Jolteon told him.

"I still can't believe it," Pikachu said to them. "Out of everyone in the world, me and Eevee are trusted with the powers of a god."

"That's because they have faith in you two, they wouldn't have done what they did any other way," Jolteon told him.

"I know, but still," Pikachu looked at the bright blue ring on his wrist, the black symbol of a wing in the middle. He wondered what kind of things he'll be able to do with the new power. He also wondered how much his life will change now. It's already been crazy before, and now it's gonna be on a whole new level.

"I can't do this."

Pikachu and Jolteon turned towards Eevee, who was silent until now.

"What do you mean, Eevee?" Pikachu asked her.

"I can't be a guardian, Pikachu. I'm not strong enough to be one. I'm just going to disappoint everyone," Eevee said. She tried to take off the ring on her paw, but Jolteon stopped her from doing it.

"Don't take that off. This is the only thing keeping you awake right now. You aren't fully healed, and if you take Cerberus off you will pass out again," Jolteon sternly told her. Eevee just sighed.

"But why did he choose me? I'm no fighter, I'm not gonna be strong enough to protect anyone. Not to mention the tournament, I barely won my first match," Eevee said.

"Well, you aren't alone in this, Eevee. Remember the promise I made to you yesterday? I promise to help train you the best I can, and I'm not going to break it anytime soon," Pikachu told her. Eevee smiled and hugged him.

"Thank you," She muttered to him.

Pikachu looked down at her. "I got a few hours to spare, we can start training now if you want."

Eevee nodded. "I'd like that," She said. They headed for the door to go out but Jolteon stopped them.

"Hold on a sec, I'd like to request something," Jolteon said

"What is it, mom?" Pikachu asked her.

"When you're done with her for the day, I'd like to train her myself," Jolteon explained.

"What?" Eevee said in surprise. "You, the queen, want to train me?"

"Yeah, I do," Jolteon replied.

"That might not be a bad idea. Mom is a three-time champion and you two are the same species," explained Pikachu.

"Well..." Eevee thought about it for a moment, "Alright, I'm in."

Jolteon smiled, "Great, we'll have you fighting like a pro in no time."

"Well I want to get started as soon as I can," Eevee said in determination and sped out the door. Pikachu let out a light chuckle as he watched her run off. He looked at his mother.

"She hasn't been healed fully, has she?"

"Nope."

Pikachu sighed, "I'll take her to the medical center," And Pikachu ran off after her. Jolteon laughed, she closed her son's door room and walked back to the royal suite, knowing that Raichu is not there anymore.

...

Meanwhile, with Shinx, she was in panic mode. She rushed through all of her stuff, looking for something presentable to wear for the date. Braixen watched as Shinx made her hotel room into a mess. Braixen was glad Shinx's roommate's fighter was eliminated early on so Shinx had the room to herself.

"Shinx, calm down. I doubt that Pikachu would care how you look," Braixen told her.

"I can't just go out looking like nothing, I must have something in here," Shinx kept looking in her bags. She didn't have a lot of girl stuff, instead, she had knives, bombs, tear gas, a small gun, and a bunch of other gadgets she had.

"Why did you bring all of your gear?" Braixen asked.

"Because I know you and Greninja will put me and Pikachu through some stupid mission during the tournament and I'm not going to be unprepared for it," Shinx told her. She kept looking through her stuff until Braixen grabbed her shoulders and shook her a bit.

"Calm down!" Braixen exclaimed. "You don't need anything, just take a shower and show him a pretty face, that's all you need."

"A-are you sure?" Shinx nervously said.

"I'm sure," Braixen smiled to her. Shinx calmed down after that.

"T-thanks, I guess I'm nervous and all," Shinx said sheepishly.

"It happens, don't worry," Braixen told her. "But we need to get serious here."

Shinx was surprised by Braixen's sudden tone change. "What do you mean?"

Braixen brought out a tablet and showed Shinx what was on it, "We the SAO have been contacted by the WRL, the World Racing League. They're suspecting that a threat will during one of their rally races later on next month. They want us to enter in and stop this threat from happening."

Shinx took this all in, "Ok, but only two of us are fast enough to compete with WRL racers."

Braixen gave Shinx a hesitant look before speaking up again. "Shinx, we hate doing this as much as you're going to hear who we picked."

Shinx realized what Braixen meant, "No, you cannot enter Pikachu in the race, you know how much he hates the WRL."

"We're sorry Shinx, but he's the only one that has the skill to compete with them," Braixen explained.

"Well, why not me? I'm just as fast as him," Shinx said.

"That's true Shinx, but the main problem is your small size," Braixen said. "Most of these guys are way bigger than you, you could get crushed, or worse, killed. Besides, Greninja already made it official."

Shinx glared at Braixen, "I don't give a fuck what Greninja does, you cannot put Pikachu in there."

"You're going to regret saying that soon."

Shinx turned around and jumped when she saw Greninja behind her.

"What the fuck are you doing in my room?!" Shinx exclaimed.

"Don't worry about that. We already entered Pikachu in the select races he needs to be in, and you're going to spot for him," Greninja told her. "You're going to inform Pikachu about this, whether you like it or not."

"No, I'm not telling him," Shinx growled.

Greninja gave Shinx a stern glare, "You have two options Shinx. One, you tell Pikachu about the mission. Two, not tell him and get fired. So, are you gonna tell him or not."

There was a long silence between them as they stared each other down. Greninja thought he had his word to Shinx and started to speak again. "I expect you to give us an update after your little date tonight, and you'll also be-"

"No."

Greninja was not expecting this, "What did you say?"

"I said no," Shinx replied with a growl.

"Shinx, you have one last chance to do the right thing."

Shinx growled again, "And you think I'm not, I'm doing the right thing by not telling him. He's already stressed enough over Raichu and the tournament, he doesn't need any more distractions."

"What distractions?! Pikachu's looks fine, he'll tough it up."

"You think he's ok!!!" Shinx snapped. Her electricity started to spark around her wildly, causing Greninja and Braixen to step back. "Pikachu is far from ok! He's been depressed ever since he joined your stupid organization! He's had SEVEN mental breakdowns because of all the stupid shit you've put him through. He is stressed right now, not only because he's in the biggest tournament of his life, there's a man who's not only a domestic abuser, he's a child abuser, a predator, a criminal, and a rapist out to hurt his family! Fire me if you want, but I'm not letting him take your shit anymore! I convinced him to join, and I can convince him to leave as well! Now get out!"

"Shinx, you have one more warning-"

"I SAID GET OUT!" Shinx's eyes glowed red and she blasted Greninja and Braixen out of her room with a powerful Discharge attack. She then shut the door and locked it, making sure they don't come back in. Shinx was already starting to lose her trust in him because of things he's done in the past, but this pushed her past her limit. She was done with Greninja and the S.A.O. Shinx looked at the time and realized she didn't have a lot of time left. She quickly started to get herself ready for her date.

Eevee's POV

Sometimes I wish I wasn't so eager all the time, Pikachu's training was extremely hard. But it does pay off in the end though, I was able to learn so many things from him. I never knew that I was able to do melee combos with Iron Tail. It was almost sunset and we've been training for hours.

"Ok, I think I can teach you one more thing before I have to do something," Pikachu told me.

"What do you have to do?" I asked him. He looked a bit nervous when I asked. Like he was hesitant to tell me.

"Well, I sorta lost a 'bet' to Greninja, and now I have to take Shinx on a date," He told me. I was shocked to hear this. Him and Shinx on a date. I started to have a nervous breakdown on the inside, what if he decided to ask her to be his girlfriend. They have been friends for a long time from what I can see. Maybe I was already too late, to begin with. I guess I'll have to wait and see.

"Ohh," I muttered out. I guess he saw that I looked a bit disappointed because he got closer to me.

"Are you ok?" He asked me. My face heated up when he got close, my crush on him was starting to get out of hand. I've been using my religion as an excuse just to kiss him. Yes, kissing people we're grateful for is part of my family's religion, its the only thing that stuck with me, but its also in my religion to not abuse this. I already abused it and felt guilty about it, but hey, it works.

"I'm fine. What were you gonna show me how to do?" I asked to change the subject.

"Oh, right," He turned over to the hotel we were staying in. We didn't go far from it to stay away from fans and stuff. "I'm going to show you how to run on the walls."

...

"What!" I exclaimed. Pikachu chuckled to my reaction.

"Come on, it's not that hard... well, maybe running up it is, but not running on it," He told me. He led me closer to the hotel walls. Now, this wasn't your everyday hotel, it was as high as a skyscraper. Lots of famous people and fighters were inside of it. Anyone with a fear of heights better not look up or down it. Unfortunately, I'm one of those people, and when I looked up the hotel I got nervous.

"Uhh, how am I supposed to scale that?" I asked a bit nervous.

"All you need is two things, speed, and no fear. You got the speed for it, now all you need it to not be afraid. Watch."

Pikachu started to run to the walls. He jumped up and started running on it. I was amazed at how easily he did it. He then began to run up the tall building. I nearly fainted when I saw him go higher and higher. What he did almost made me scream when he jumped off. Scratch that, I did scream.

"Pikachu!" I cried out. He kept falling and got closer to the ground, I closed my eyes to fear the worse. Then...

"See, it's easy," I opened my eyes to see him completely fine right in front of me. I sighed in relief and flopped to the ground.

"Don't ever fucking do that near me ever again," I yelled at him. "How did you do that?"

"I fell from taller places, just ask Buizel. Broke my ankles a few times when I was younger," He chuckled and rubbed the back of his head. "Now before I let you do this, are you afraid of heights?"

I nodded.

"Hmm, how about you run across the wall, for now, we'll work on the heights thing later on," He told me. I nodded, I looked over to the wall, took a deep breath, and started sprinting.

...I guess I wasn't focusing enough and I ran straight into the wall. Not a great start so far.

"I'm ok," I shouted and tried again. This time I jumped on the ran and began to run on it, for a few seconds before hitting the ground. I skidded onto the dirt below and came to a stop. This time, Pikachu came up to me to make sure I was ok.

"I'm good, but I couldn't stick onto it," I told him.

"Strange," He said. "You should be able to stick on there at the speed you were going, and your balance was good too."

"Maybe I did something wrong?" I said.

"Hmm..." I can see Pikachu thinking deeply. "Eevee, how bad are your fear of heights?" He asked.

"Bad..." I say sheepishly.

"How bad?"

"I can probably go as high as a 10-foot ladder before freaking out."

"Well, I can see the issue now," I could see him deadpan. "Kinda ironic too since you were on top of a 3,000+ building a few days ago."

"That was over 3,000 feet!" I exclaimed. I didn't know that building Raichu brought us to was that big, I felt like fainting right then and there, but somehow I managed to keep myself up.

"Yep, gotta say though, you not noticing how high you were was pretty impressive, then again you were in a life or death situation so I doubt heights were your biggest problem," Pikachu laughed a bit. "No worries though, I'll help you get rid of this fear, there may be some rough steps but I believe you'll face this fear. Just don't freak out too much or we might have to put you in therapy."

I laughed a bit and smiled at him and hugged him, "Thank you," I told him and kissed his cheek. Using my religion as an excuse again.

"If you two are done here, I'd like to train her now."

We both turned to see Jolteon standing there with a smirk. We quickly separated from each other, I was blushing wildly and too embarrassed to look at them.

"S-sorry ma'am," I apologized.

"Don't be, now don't you have to be somewhere, Pikachu?" Jolteon told him.

"Oh, right. I'll see you two later," He said and ran off. I was sad to see him go, I wanted him to stay longer, but I guess it can't be helped.

"I overheard what you two were talking about a few seconds ago, and I know the perfect way to help you," Jolteon told me. My ears perked up from this.

"Really?"

"Yeah, but be warned, we're getting our paws dirty for the training I'm doing, and in more ways than one," Jolteon said with an evil smirk.

Despite being the owner of the demon dogs itself, I think I just entered hell.

Shinx's POV

I was standing outside near the city waiting for Pikachu. I was nervous, he's been my crush since I met him, and now we were on a date. I guess neither of us could technically do this anymore since I quit, but I still wanted this date, gives me a better advantage of being his girlfriend.

"Hey there."

Startled, I turned around to see Pikachu behind me. I calmed down and let out a smile.

"Nice to see you too, Mr. Heart Attack giver," I teased.

"I've been getting that a lot lately," He chucked. He held out his hand towards me. "You ready?"

I blushed and held his hand with my paw. "Ready," I told him. We began walking into the city, I'm glad we're doing this, we never really got the chance to hang out together since we joined the S.A.O, but now that I'm out of that shithole, I can be with him for as long as I want, and help him with the championship as his spotter, and not as a mission.

Narattor POV

The training with Eevee under the care of Jolteon was an absolute nightmare for Eevee, she thought Pikachu's training was hard, but Jolteon's training made Pikachu's look easy. It was brutal, they traveled through dangerous parts of the forest and went through many hazardous obstacles. Vines with sharp points that can cut through skin like nothing, poisonous plants, and ivy all around, rushing waters that led to a steep waterfall, you name it.

"Come on Eevee, just a few more places," Jolteon said. Jolteon looked in perfect condition, despite all the hazardous obstacles in the way. Eevee, on the other hand, was a mess. Her fur was messed up, she was covered in mud, and she had a look like she saw someone kill a box full of kittens.

"C-Can we take a break? P-please," Eevee begged, she was tired and just wanted to go back to the hotel.

"You can't give up now, Eevee. We're almost back to town, just over this cliff and we'll be back," Jolteon said, she pointed to the cliff ahead of them. It was very big. Eevee looked up and almost fainted at the sight.

"I-I can't climb that, I-is there another way?" Eevee asked, hoping for there to be another way.

"Nope, this is the only way," Jolteon said, to the disappointment of Eevee. She sighed and looked up the cliff.

"I suppose we have to climb it then."

"No shit. Follow my lead," Jolteon began climbing up the cliff, Eevee gulped nervously and began following her. They were climbing at a slow pace, Eevee went to grab a spot to climb but her paw slipped, causing her to almost fall. Jolteon saw Eevee almost fall and warned her. "Be careful, some places to grab are weak, use your claws for better grip."

Eevee slightly nodded, she extended her claws on her paws and resumed climbing, this time, she wasn't slipping as much. Eevee looked down, she saw how far up they were and felt like passing out, but she kept on, soon enough, the two reached the top. Jolteon looked fine, as usual, while Eevee was glad to be back on solid ground.

"See, that wasn't so bad was it?" Jolteon said to her.

"It was terrible," Eevee moaned. She laid herself on the ground and took a deep breath. When Eevee breathed in, she smelled something, something familiar. She got up and started sniffing the air and looked around, looking for the source of the smell. Jolteon looked at Eevee, confused at what she was doing.

"What are you doing?" Jolteon asked her. Eevee kept sniffing around until she was finally able to track down the source of the smell. When she did, her eyes went wide.

"Liepard," Eevee whispered to her self. She quickly turned to Jolteon and tackled her down to the ground, just in time as a purple streak went over them. Eevee quickly got back up to see a Liepard standing nearby, ready to attack them. Eevee glared at the Liepard and began growling.

Jolteon had no clue what was going on, she got up and saw Eevee staring down the Liepard that almost attacked them. "Eevee, what's going on?"

"That Liepard is from Tracia, Umbreon must've sent them here to attack us," Eevee explained, not taking her eyes off the Liepard.

The Liepard stared at Eevee and Jolteon with a menacing look. "So you're the princess, huh? You don't look strong, I'll take you out real quick and get my reward," The Liepard told them in a masculine voice. He started slowly walking towards them, Eevee backed up a bit but now taking her eyes off of him.

"Why are you backing up?"

Eevee was startled by the voice, "Who-"

"Talk in your mind, not out loud."

'S-Sorry,' Eevee said in her head. Eevee then recognized who was talking to her, 'Wait a minute, Cerberus?'

"Took you long enough. But I want to know why you're backing away from the fight," Cerberus demanded.

'W-well I-'

Cerberus interrupted her, "I don't want to hear any excuses, I chose you as a Guardian and expect you to fight back. Do you want to be seen as a weakling to everyone?"

'N-no, I don't,' Eevee replied.

"Oh really? Because all I see right now is a weakling who's backing away."

Eevee started to whimper, 'I-I'm not weak."

"Then prove it! Until then, I'm calling you weak for now on."

"I'm... I'm not weak!" Eevee screamed. Her eyes turned red and her fur went from brown to black, her cream-colored collar and heart pattern on her tail also turned red. Jolteon was shocked by this, she backed away from Eevee not knowing what was going on with her.

"E-Eevee?" Jolteon said, concern and confusion in her voice. Eevee looked back at Liepard and slammed into him. Liepard screamed in pain and coughed up blood when Eevee hit him. Liepard tried to attack back by using Dark Pulse on Eevee, but he was surprised when his attack went straight through Eevee, unaffecting her.

'What! King Umbreon said she would be weak?' Liepard thought. He didn't get much time to think as Eevee slammed her Iron Tail on his head. Liepard was now on the ground knocked out. Jolteon thought that was the end of it, but Eevee kept hitting Liepards head with Iron Tail.

"I'll kill you! I'll kill you! I'll kill you! I'll kill you! I'll kill you!" Eevee repeatedly screamed as she kept hitting him. Liepard's face was almost unrecognizable at this point, blood was everywhere and Eevee looked like she wasn't stopping any time soon.

"That's enough Eevee, you're gonna kill him if you keep going!" Cerberus exclaimed. But Eevee didn't listen and kept going.

Eevee slammed her Iron Tail one more time on his head before feeling a sharp pain on her head. It was from Jolteon, she bashed her head on Eevee's head. Eevee's mind went blank, her colors went back to normal and she fell on the ground, knocked out.

Jolteon rubbed her head and sighed in relief. She looked over at Liepard, it didn't take a genius to tell that Liepard was dead. There was blood everywhere, most of it was on Eevee. Jolteon lifted Eevee on her back and rushed back to the hotel, not noticing the symbol on Eevee's ring blinking red.

A few hours have passed and it was now nighttime. Pikachu and Shinx had enjoyed their date, despite the glares they got from jealous boys and girls they passed. The whole town saw them together and began wondering about their relationship as well. The two were now having dinner outside of a restaurant together. Most people at the restaurant decided to eat inside, leaving Pikachu and Shinx alone outside to eat.

"You enjoyed this date so far?" Pikachu asked Shinx.

"The best one I've ever had, considering this is the first date I've ever had," Shinx giggled. They laughed, the two then stared deeply into each other's eyes, unable to look away from each other. Shinx saw a small glow on her paw, usually, when it glowed it meant a threat was near, but it was a small glow so she thought it wasn't important.

"Pikachu," Shinx started with a slight blush, "Have you ever decided to start dating anytime soon? I mean, you already know me, Eevee, and Buizel have a thing for you."

Pikachu looked hesitant to reply, knowing the answer he'll give might upset her. "I'm going to be honest Shinx, my answer might've been different if not for the current situation."

Shinx looked at him puzzled before realizing what he was talking about, "You mean the tournament and Raichu, huh?"

Pikachu nodded, "Raichu will do anything to hurt me, even though he's not the king anymore he still has a lot of power. I don't know what he'll plan next, but I know that it'll be deadly. So dating is a defendant no, 'cause I don't know if I'll be alive by the end of the week," Pikachu turned his gaze away from Shinx and looked down. Shinx saw the pained look on his face, she scooted her chair next to his and sat next to him. She then nuzzled her head under his chin, lifting Pikachu's head so that he wasn't looking down.

"Pikachu, just know you aren't alone. If Raichu were to attack you, me and everyone else will be at your side. And without Pegasus, he'll be a sitting duck against you when you get to the finals," Shinx told him.

"I guess, but knowing him, he's probably found something to counter Pegasus, I don't know what but there's something," Pikachu stated. "And with other shit in the way, it's gonna be hard to manage all of this, the media, training Eevee, the S.A.O..."

"Actually Pikachu, I don't think the S.A.O will be a problem anymore," Shinx told him.

Pikachu looked at her puzzled, "What do you mean?"

"I... I quit the S.A.O, I can't be there any longer," Shinx replied. Pikachu was shocked by this, Shinx had dreamed of joining the S.A.O when they were younger, and now she was leaving it.

"Shinx, why did you leave?" Pikachu asked.

"Because of Greninja, we both know he's done some shady things when he became leader, but I'm not dealing with his shit anymore. He tried to force me to tell you about a mission they put you in, even though he knew you don't like what the mission is about," Shinx explained.

"Shinx, I think I would've been able to-"

"It involved the WRL!" Pikachu was surprised by her sudden outburst, this wasn't like Shinx at all. Shinx continued speaking, "You're already stressed enough Pikachu, you hate the WRL and they're going to force you into a mission. And it's not just you, everyone else in the organization is forced to do things for him. I'm sorry Pikachu, but as long as Greninja is the leader I'm not going back," Shinx told him.

Pikachu soaked in everything Shinx said, he, of course, knew about some things Greninja did that was a bit wrong, but him forcing others to do things was too far.

"Pikachu, I know this is a long stretch, but please think about quitting, I don't want them to force you to do missions for the W.R.L. I'm planning on getting others to quit as well in secret, so... if you quit as well you could probably help me," Shinx said. Pikachu stayed quiet for a while, Shinx's ears flopped down sadly, thinking Pikachu wasn't going to quit. "I mean, you don't have to quit if you don't want to-"

"Shinx," Pikachu began, Shinx looked at him. "If there were a person I could trust my life in beside my mom, it's you. I'm going to quit," Shinx's face brightened up.

"R-Really?"

Pikachu nodded. "Yep, and I'm gonna help you convince everyone to quit too."

Shinx couldn't hold her excitement anymore, she jumped on his lap happily. She then got close to his face and kissed him, full on the lips. Pikachu was not expecting this. He has now been kissed by Eevee, Buizel, and Shinx in 48 hours. He didn't know what to do, he was afraid of breaking the hearts of the other girls if they found out. Shinx quickly separated the kiss, now embarrassed from it.

"S-sorry, I shouldn't have done that," Shinx said, looking away from Pikachu.

"I-It's fine, no worries," Pikachu stuttered. The two stared at each other, a noticeable blush on each of their faces. Shinx quickly felt herself heating up more and decided to change things up by pulling out of her tablet and setting it on the table.

"I almost forgot to tell you this, your next opponent has been decided earlier and I've done some research on him, but just saying this now, you won't like him," Shinx told him.

"Ok, but are you gonna sit in your seat or stay on my lap?" Pikachu asked. Shinx blushed but snuggled closer into Pikachu.

"I feel safer on your lap," Shinx said. "But let's get down to business. Your opponent's name is Buffalant. He's a W.R.L racer, meaning it's likely the battle may change into a race battle," Shinx told him.

"Oh great, just what I need," Pikachu groaned.

"It's rare so don't worry, but you'll need to worry about a few gadgets Buffalant may have. He's known for using dirty tricks to get his way," Shinx swiped on the screen of her tablet to a new page and showed three weapons.

"Talk about high tech," Pikachu complimented when showed the weapons.

"You got that right, this first one is called a Goo Launcher," Shinx pointed to the cannon-like weapon. "It shots a nasty green substance at you, it's still unknown what's used to make it, but females have reported having pregnant symptoms when hit but not getting pregnant."

"I can already think of what one of the ingredients is," Pikachu cringed.

"Which is why I'm glad I'm not fighting him. Now, the second one," She pointed to the drill-shaped weapon. "This is a Shank Drill, it's easily avoidable but very deadly. Some have lost limbs from this thing."

"Interesting," Pikachu muttered.

Shinx then pointed to the last weapon, it was a long rod with a circle with a blade on the end. "This is the most dangerous one, the Spear Hook. It stabs deeply into the opponent and holds onto them tightly. The one caught is unable to move left or right while the user can move freely. Many have died from this thing, and its also the hardest one to see, so be careful."

"I'll make sure I am, that Spear Hook sounds very dangerous," Pikachu replied. "Is there a counter to any of these?"

"Yep," Shinx replied. "For the cannon, you just need to make sure you're out of the way, he only has one shot. Your Iron Tail should be able to chop off his Shank Drill, just watch out and don't get hit. Now the Spear Hook is a tricky one, he's able to aim multiple times and you don't know when it will hit. Your best option is to stay above him or keep a far distance."

Pikachu nodded to all of this. Shinx turned off her tablet and put it... somewhere. Who knows.

"It's getting late Pikachu, we should be getting back, your fight is at night so you'll have plenty of rest for it," Shinx said.

"Alright, let's go," The two paid for their food and left. They walked hand in paw as they did. Many people around saw this and began speculating the two were dating, even though they weren't. Many pictures were taken of them and journalists began writing. Pikachu and Shinx arrived at the hotel, it was quiet as everyone was asleep at this time.

"I had a great time with you, Pikachu," Shinx said with a blush. "Maybe... we could do it again sometime?"

Pikachu gave her a smirk, "I'll think on it, probably not for a while though," Shinx nodded, she started blushing more as she looked at him.

"Pikachu... can I... stay with you for now on, I'm afraid that Greninja might try something on me," Shinx twirled her paw on the ground and looked away from Pikachu, waiting for a response.

"Uhh, sure. You can stay with me," Pikachu replied. Shinx smiled, the two went to her room to get all her stuff. When they got there, they saw that someone tried to break into her room. They quickly got her stuff and moved it all to Pikachu's room.

"Uhh, I forgot about this, but my room only has one bed, we're going to have to share it," Pikachu told her.

"That's fine, no trouble with it," Shinx replied. They both got in the bed, Shinx snuggled up to Pikachu, making the two blush.

"Hmm, I wonder where Buizel is? I haven't seen her all day," Pikachu said as he laid in the bed with Shinx hugging him.

"Maybe she's training some more," Shinx thought.

"Maybe... I hope she's ok though," Pikachu said.

"I think she's fine Pikachu, she's strong and can take care of herself," Shinx told him.

"Yeah, you're right," Pikachu replied.

Pikachu and Shinx laid in the bed in silence, they stared at each other more and slowly began to grow tired. Shinx once again moved her face closer to his, enjoying the comfort he provided.

"Pikachu?"

"Yeah?"

Shinx gave him one last kiss, "Thank you," Shinx laid her head down and fell asleep. Pikachu falling asleep soon after.

Buizel was in her room, looking at a stack of papers she got earlier. She was crying looking at them, what it said made her upset. She never thought what it said would ever happen to her, but it did. She cried for a bit more before smiling a bit.

"I guess this is one of the sacrifices of fighting, maybe this is a good thing though, I guess I'll have to wait and see," Buizel set down the papers on a nearby table, got in her bed, and went to sleep. As she slept, she remembered what the papers said that changed her life.
