I made a map of the Continent they live on. It will be updated later on during the story.

Blue- North-side
Tan- East-side
Green- South-side
Red- West-side

You might need to zoom in to see some of the landmarks.

The East kingdom was never a place that had a good reputation. The Kingdom was known for being very ruthless, everywhere you went there was fight happening. It was common to see a dead body lying in the middle of the street, they don't bother to clean them up, they leave them there to rot or some Pokemon would go ahead and eat the body.

The ruler of the East was King Umbreon, a ruthless king who only cared about his own being. He would go to peoples homes and take whatever he wants from them. Things like jewelry, clothes, food, and many other personal belongings.

The East also was the only side to allow slavery, hence many slave trades happen in the Kingdom. The North, South, and West have all decided to break their alliance with the East, given the fact the population was small and with all of the murders and slave abuse that happened.

King Umbreon was walking through his castle with a smile on his face. He and his army, consisting of Zoroarks, Gengars, and Sableyes, had finished raiding houses and punishing his slaves. He walked into his room to see his wife, Espeon, laying on the bed, wearing a very revealing outfit.

"Oh, looks like someone in the mood to have some fun." He said to her. He got closer to her and they began their make-out session. This continued for a while until he pulled back away from her. "Have any of them found her yet?"

"Unfortunately not, the guards lost her when she got near the border. They're saying she might have gotten to one of the other sides." Espeon explained.

"WHAT!!" Umbreon quickly got up and started pacing across the room.

"Honey, what's going on?" Espeon asked.'

He sighed. "I'll show you, but you have to swear to not tell anyone about this alright?" He said a bit threatening. She nodded. Umbreon went to a nearby bookshelf and lit a candle that was on top of it. Once he did, the shelf started to move to the right revealing a hidden passage that was behind it.

"Follow me." He said. They both went down the long underground tunnel. A light could be seen at the end. When they got there, Espeon stared amazed at what was inside. There were many artifacts and machinery working on stuff she didn't know about. But what caught her attention was one of the walls were covered up.

"What's with the wall over there?" She asked. Umbreon moved to the wall and pulled away the tarp covering the wall. Underneath were pictures in ancient carvings, it looked like it told a long story. "What is all of this?"

"This sweetheart is a prophecy of our downfall." He told her.

"Our downfall, how could that be?"

"Well, this tells the story of how two heroes from opposite sides fall in love, and how they stop the evil on this island. Unfortunately, we know who one of them is."

"Wait, don't tell me..."

"Yes, our disgrace of a daughter Eevee is one of the heroes in the prophecy." he finished. "But her alone isn't our biggest problem."

"I'm going to guess it's the person she will fall in love with?" She said.

"Yes, but the person gives her something that gives her an advantage over us." he paused he then walked over to a desk and pulled out a slate rock that also had a picture on it. On it was an object that looked like a crystal and around it were eighteen rectangle plates, on top was a creature that looked like a giant all mighty being. "The Plate Crystal."

"But wait, I thought that was only a myth." She said confused.

"Many do, but there is one that exists, somehow the person she meets finds it and gives it to her. The Crystal will only listen to the person who holds it as it's guardian, it gives them the ability to use moves of any type once a day." He stopped before looking back at the carving on the wall. "If she manages to get it before we find her, then we have a lot of trouble."

But as soon as he finished talking, the wall started to light up, a bright light blinded them making them shield their eyes from the light. Once the light stopped, part of the carvings on the wall was now outlined with a white light.

"Damn, we're too late." He said.

"Too late for what?" his wife asked.

"The wall will start to tell which part of the story prophecy has occoured. She already has the crystal in her grasp."

"But why is this crystal so important?"

"This crystal has immense power." He looked back at the slate rock of the crystal. "It as I said before, the crystal can give the user the ability to use moves of any one type for once a day. So if a ground type had one, they can choose to be able to also use electric type moves as well."

"Ok, but I don't understand why it's called a Plate. It doesn't even look like one."

Umbreon sighed, he hated when she keeps asking questions. "It's called the 'Plate' Crystal because it has all of the power of Arceus' seventeen plates." Espeon nodded now understanding everything she needs to know."

"What's the plan now, she has the crystal and we can't go to the other sides without being a threat."

Umbreon chuckled. "Oh don't worry sweetheart, all we have to do is have the boy fall in love with someone else, and I know the perfect girl for the job."

Meanwhile

Pikachu had made a fast recovery overnight, being able to walk on his own again now. Eevee decided to give the gifts she got for Pikachu when he woke up. She had gotten him a Light Ball, which increased his attack power when it absorbed into his body. The other thing she got him was a pink and white pill. Also known as an ability capsule. She bought it for him for two reasons, one so if he fights Raichu his electric attacks won't hurt him at all, and two because she wanted to cuddle him without getting paralyzed. Pikachu thanked her and decided to wait until the right time to use it, much to the disappointment to Eevee.

While she was a bit upset about it, she did enjoy getting to know more about Jolteon, Pikachu's mom, and Pichu, his little sister. She got to know a lot more about them and because of it, she got to know more about Pikachu to someone else's eyes. They and Pikachu decided to give her a tour of the Castle, which she now knows the castles name is Amber Castle. Pikachu and Eevee decided to stay a while to spend time with Jolteon and Pichu, deciding to leave when they know what's going to happen to Raichu.

Jolteon had taken a real liking to Eevee, she didn't expect Pikachu to bring someone other than Buneary to the party. Though she was glad it wasn't Buneary, as she really disliked the clingy bunny. When she found out the abusive past that she had, her mother instincts went into overdrive, she didn't want a poor girl like her to go back to the abusive East Kingdom. Allowing her to be a citizen in the West brought joy to her, seeing her smile the most probably in her whole life. What she also learned about Eevee was she was really great with children. Pichu had taken a real liking to Eevee, even to the point where Pichu wanted Eevee to be her sister. To say the least, she was surprised.

Seeing that Pichu enjoyed playing with Eevee, she decided to make her a babysitter whenever she has to leave for her royal duties. Eevee was surprised when Jolteon made the decision but happily accepted the job. But what surprised her more was with Jolteon deciding to pay her a good amount of money whenever Eevee had to babysit Pichu. Eevee tried to tell her she didn't need to pay her, but Jolteon insisted, seeing that Eevee needed to have a job.

Pikachu watched them talk and smiled. Eevee had really happy the past few days, and he was happy she was getting along with his mom and sister well. The four had been enjoying all of the things they have been doing with each other, but it had to end when a servant told them Raichu's trial was canceled.

"What do you mean they canceled the trial?!?!" Jolteon asked furiously. The servant, a Riolu, backed down in fear.

"I-I'm sorry my queen, but they said that there was no need to have a trial." Riolu told her.

She sighed. "Alright, get back to your duties." the Riolu bowed down to her and went off.

"So what are we going to do about him? He's obviously going to do something to us soon." Pikachu said. He was not happy to hear about the trial being canceled.

"I don't know, but you two need to get out of here?" she said to him and Eevee.

"Is our playdate with big brother and big sister over?" Pichu asked sadly. She never got the chance to spend time with her brother, with him not living at the castle and battling nearly every week.

"I'm sorry sweetie but it's time to say goodbye." Jolteon said to her. Pichu looked down sadly before she ran over to Pikachu and gave him a hug. She cried in his chest not wanting her brother to leave again.

"Hey sis don't cry, I promise after the first round of the championship, we can have another playdate ok." Pikachu assured her, her mood changed to happy and hugged him tighter. She eventually let go and gave Eevee a hug as well. Pikachu turned to Jolteon to talk.

"Mom is he does anything to you two, don't be afraid to use the earrings to teleport to my house." Pikachu reminded her.

"Don't worry honey, I'll make sure he doesn't try anything to us." Jolteon reassured him. She gave Pikachu a big hug and a kiss on the cheek. "And by the way, when you fight Raichu in the championship, make sure you kick his ass for me." she whispered in his ear. Pikachu chuckled and returned the hug.

They got to the gate and said their goodbyes to them and went off. Jolteon smiled as she watched Pikachu and Eevee walk away from the castle. She turned around and walked inside the castle with Pichu on her back. When she walked in, she saw Raichu talking to the chief guard Bisharp. The Bisharp saluted to him and walked off to the training field. He turned around and saw Jolteon walk in and smiled like nothing happened. He walked up to her and was about to give her a kiss when he felt a smack on his face.

"Don't even try you bastard!!!" she yelled at him. "We have a lot of talking to do, and don't even think that I'm forgiving you asshole!!!" she walked away, leaving an angry Raichu behind him.

Meanwhile, with Pikachu and Eevee, they were now in the shopping center. They had to cross from there in order to get to the path to the house. I had turn nighttime due to the long journey they had to take. Pikachu then remembered he had to pick up a package that was waiting for him at the delivery center. Eevee decided to stay out and wait for him to be done. Unfortunately for her, she was about to experience what some of the real world is like.

"Hey there hottie." Eevee turned to where the voice came from to see a Weavile standing next to her.

"Uhh, hello." She replied quietly, already feeling unsafe around him.

"What's a pretty girl like you doing out here by your self?" He asked getting closer to her. She backed away slowly.

"I-I'm waiting for a friend to come out." She said.

"A friend ehh..." He suddenly grabbed Eevee and pinned her against the wall. "I think we got some time to have some 'fun' if you know what I mean."

"No stop, let me go!!" Eevee struggled to get out of his grip. What was worse was no one was around to help her. She screamed for help, hoping that anyone would help her.

"Keep screaming girl, there's no one going to help you." He said. He was about to force a kiss until he was struck by a ball of electricity, making him drop Eevee. She looked to see Pikachu ready to fight the Weavile that tried to seduce her.

"Alright buddy, don't you dare think I would let anything happen to her." Pikachu spoke threateningly.

The Weavile looked to see who hit him and immediately recognized who it was.

"You!!" he said angrily. "You're that rookie that embarrassed me in front of millions of people."

"I remember you, I won my first tournament against you." Pikachu said.

Weavile looked at him more and realized who he was up against. When he first saw Pikachu, he was the average size for his species, but what he saw now was a Pokemon who was almost as tall as him. The same could be said for the Eevee he was trying to seduce. Weavile quickly made an excuse to get out of this situation.

"You're lucky I can't fight you in the streets now, but mark my words I'll make sure you never battle ever again in the championships." He growled. He quickly ran off to his home.

Pikachu sighed and turned back to Eevee. "Are you alright?" He asked. Eevee didn't reply, instead, she ran up to him and gave him a hug.

"Thank you." She whispered to him. He smiled at her and returned the hug.

"I'm glad you're ok, but why didn't you use one of your attacks on him." Eevee looked down in embarrassment.

"I... I don't know any moves." she spoke, surprising Pikachu. "I was always locked up in my room most of the time so I couldn't learn how to defend myself." Eevee felt like she was useless, Pikachu would probably hate her now knowing that she doesn't know how to fight.

"Well... would you like me to teach you how?" he asked her. Eevee shot her head up, not expecting the question from her.

"Really! You want to teach me to fight?" she questioned.

"Yeah, I can start teaching you some basic moves and I can also help you learn the moves you learn from using the crystal." Eevee threw herself back into Pikachu and hugged him again.

"Thank you, thank you, thank you!" she repeated happily. Pikachu chuckled at her behavior.

"Alright Eevee, but just to let you know be careful when you're by yourself here. People won't hesitate to attack you or make you do their bidding ok." Eevee nodded and the two walked home. Ready to start another day tomorrow.
