A tall boy about six feet leans against the door pane, shoving his hands inside his jeans as his green eyes watch a girl with her back facing him making herself a cup of tea. His short blond hair that sticks everywhere tells someone like us that he's just woken up from his sleep. And he is, actually. After a while standing and taking in the beauty of the girl, he clears his throat to tell the girl he's there.

"Hermione!"

The girl's hand stirring the tea she's making stops moving and she turns her head around. "Yeah, Chipmunk," she replies with her natural soft voice.

Instantly, the boy glowers at her, totally disagree with the nickname Hermione has gotten for him -- though he thinks he should be used to it. He leans against the door frame taking his hands up across his chest. It takes him a few seconds to soften his gaze towards the smiling Hermione. "Aaron wants to see us," he tells her.

"Oh, okay." Hermione nods without any protest. She turns back to her drink and tastes it.

A metal against glass clings in the air when Hermione taps her tablespoon on the glass before leaving it in the sink. She then turns with a cup of tea in her hand and head towards the door. "Let's go," she whispers to the boy as she walks pass without looking at him.

The boy pushes himself off the wall and follows Hermione right behind her. "For the thousandth times, Hem, can you stop calling me 'Chipmunk?'" the boy warns.

Hermione snickers. "Why? I think that name suits you so well," she replies casually.

"I don't like it!" He throws his arms in the air.

"Ha! It's your fault that your face is as cute as a chipmunk. Otherwise, I might be calling you Giraffe because of your height or Monkey because you like to hang yourself on the monkey bar."

"Huh, I'd rather be called Giraffe or Monkey than Chipmunk if it means a good thing," Lukas mutters to himself. Even though he knows Hermione cannot see him, but he glares at the girl behind her head.

"Really?" Hermione looks at Lukas over her shoulder. Apparently, the girl heard what he said. "I see you've agreed with the nicknames I've given to you." The end of her lip twitches with a devilish smirk.

Lukas opens her mouth, prepared to bark back, but before anything comes out, Hermione beats him first.

"You know why Aaron wants to see us?" she asks her friend before taking a sip of her hot tea as they continue walking.

"No idea," Lukas replies. He sounds almost breathlesss to keep up with Hermione's quick pace.

"You think he wants us to go do another mission? Give a vacation perhaps," Hermione guesses, feeling excited with the thought being given a vacation.

Hermione holds his cup carefully as they ascend a flight of curling stairs. After about ten seconds they make it to the second floor, turn right in the hallway only to meet a long hallway that leads them towards a big doubled-door at the end of it.

"Perhaps," Lukas agrees. "But I hope it's a good news as I can't stand another bad news. Call me a girl, but a death of someone you know is not a joke," he points out.

Hermione's mood suddenly changes, remembering back to the last bad news she received from the Wit-Assassins Villa. The death of Arnold Rooster, the most important person in her life was very horrible especially when she wasn't there when it happened. Her heart glums when she remembers she could only see his grave now, not his face. That's totally not what she wants in her life.

The girl glances at Lukas, wanting to see his facial expression because she thought she heard his voice almost didn't project any emotion when he said about the death. Arnold Rooster was their father. Someone can't tall about him without showing any emotion. After a few second, Hermione turns back to the front, now too afraid to let Lukas to see her facial expression that may betray her.

"Right," she mutters lowly as she keeps walking fast. Her feeling to get to the door as soon as possible is very powerful. She can't continue her day normally if Lukas decides to talk about what happened.

"He's a good man-"

"Finally, we're here!" Hermione cheers to save herself. She turns her heels to face Lukas; her free hand hold the door knob. "Be ready," she whispers to her friend.

Lukas' face turns funnily anxious, that makes Hermione wants to laugh her arse off.

Oh, she likes to make Lukas gets scared.

Outsiders might not believe with what they see if they enter Aaron Rooster's room in the Wit-Assassins Villa. Because the room is not the usual room you may think an assassin leader would have. You won't believe how bright the place is, how neat the place is, how normal the place looks, and how calming the place makes a person feels. No, any outsiders won't believe it.

The ground is covered with marble floor instead of creaky wooden floor or wet and smelly rocky floor. Ninety percent of the walls are made by glass windows, so you could see what's happening outside on the deserted road. Other stoned walls painted in creamy colour are hidden behind shelves of books and frames. Meanwhile the curtains are thin, making no effort to make the room dark. But the again the Villa is somewhere no one knows -- accept some who'd been invited for an annual ball during Christmas -- though from the outside it looks rather a billionaire's manor.

A man dressed in black sits behind his long and big desk, full with papers. His leather jacket hung behind his seat, leaving him in a t-shirt that fits perfectly around his torso. Veins popping out on his chocolate skin as if he's just done doing something heavy. His face is facing down some papers on the table, hiding from Hermione's eyes.

Even so, for a moment, Hermione thought she's drooling over the man. Her crush towards Aaron Rooster can't be questioned anymore -- only for herself though. His beauty makes the cup of tea in her hand almost fell.

Even after two minutes Hermione and Lukas has entered the room, they continue silent. Hermione takes a sip of her tea to occupy herself and to hide her nervousness. It is until Lukas, who's standing beside her, opens his mouth.

"You want to see us, Aaron?" Lukas asks. His voice was a bit shaky, afraid the man behind the desk, the leader of Wit-Ass wants to announce some bad news though he'd accomplished his mission perfectly.

Aaron lifts his face up, gazing at Hermione, first thing first. Then to the cup in Hermione's hand -- or her long fingers -- before his eyes land on Lukas. There's something in Aaron's eyes that tells Hermione he doesn't actually want Lukas to be there though she can't be hundred percent sure about it.

"Yes," Aaron replies Lukas's question before standing up, shoving his hands inside his old jeans. "I want to congratulate both of you for completing the latest mission flawlessly. Everything planned had run smoothly. The dimwit died. We've got praised and got the payment. You know yourself you're the most capable assassins among your other colleagues. On the behalf of my father, I am gonna say that I am proud with you." Aaron smiles, glances at Hermione whose lips are slowly bent downwards with the mention of Arnold Rooster.

His heart shrinks. He knows it's not a good time to mention his father in front of Hermione yet he feels like he should do it. It's to let Hermione knows that his father is really proud of her before it's too late.

Aaron quickly looks away. With heavy heart, he continues. "I think it's unfair for me keeping you from any rewards after you've done so many good missions so...," the leader trails off as he takes out two small rectangular papers and places it on the table, "here's a concert ticket for you," Aaron finally announces the surprise.

Spontaneously, the cup in Hermione's hands drops on the marble floor of Aaron's room. The water splashes at the leg of Aaron's desk and on Hermione's boots and jeans before pooling on the floor. Noise of glass shattering echoes in the room. Aaron and Lukas wince with the stinging noise yet Hermione doesn't flinch even an inch. Her hands fly swiftly before they reach her mouth. A gasp escapes her throat. Her eyes open widely, a reaction for the good surprise.

She wants to scream as loud as she wants, but knowing she's in Aaron's room -- despite that she just dropped her tea -- she turns her scream into a squeal that belongs to a chipmunk.

Lukas, on the other hand, looks cool and calm. He doesn't react that much when Aaron told them he's giving concert tickets for them except a huff and a side smile that's supposed to result in a good way. He gives his Wit-Ass leader a thankful look.

"Wait, let me confirm it," Hermione speaks after her full three minutes of fangirl trance. "It's a One Direction concert ticket, right? You better tell me it is." Her finger points at the small rectangular papers, that one of them belongs to her on the table. Her voice comes out stern as if to warn her leader.

Aaron glances at what she's pointing at and smiles. "It is," he replies calmly as always.

Hermione steps forward, grabs the concert ticket and stares at it for as long as she wants, admiring it like it's gold.

"Oh my God, thank you so much!" Hermione squeals again. "Seriously, thank you. I don't know how thank you, but thank you."

Although some think a bos is always serious, but not Aaron. He laughs with Hermione's reaction. Actually, he has a strong feeling to get close to Hermione and hugs her tightly especially when he notices a glint of water in her eyes. He knows it's a tear of happiness. It warms his heart knowing that he'd given the correct reward for the best girl. After all these years, he knows Hermione has worked her ass off until this stage. And the reward is just perfect.

"Thank you, man," Lukas says calmly like nothing is happening. "And thanks for knowing I love Metalica." He smirks.

"Both of you are welcome," Aaron replies. He finally tears his gaze off Hermione, who is still admiring her One Direction concert ticket. "If you don't have any inquiries, you can leave now. As you see, I have a lot of works to do." Aaron sits back down on his chair.

Both Lukas and Hermione nods once, understand his nice leader well anough.

Hermione quickly calms herself down before she turns and follows Lukas, walking back to the door they came in.

"Aaron," Hermione calls to get the leader's attention before she closses the door. Lukas has already gone somewhere to brag with the reward, Hermione thinks, though they can't tell anyone with any gift the leader gives according to rules. "I'm sorry I messed your room. I'll come back in a minute to clean it up," she promises.

Aaron looks dazzled for a few seconds, forgot what had Hermione done.

"Oh, nevermind," he says when he remembers. No hint of anger in his voice. "Find Clinton and ask him to clean it up, instead," he tells Hermione. "Make sure find him quick before the tea gets dry. Don't want the smell stick in my room," he mumbles under his breath as he writes something on the paper under his eyes.

Yet that's not exactly what he felt with the tea. He doesn't mind the smell of tea at all. He likes it because it's Hermione's favourite.

"Okay." Hermione smiles, happy that she's given a time to pamper herself -- not doing any job for a day or hours.

Before Hermione closes the door, she thought she sees Aaron smiling that makes her heart skips a beat.

First chapter of Tony Stark's Daughter: Our Beloved Assassin is up! Like I promised myself, once my other book, Tony Stark's Daughter: Ordinary yet Extraordinary reach 10k reads, I'll be posting a new Tony Stark's Daughter book. I love the concept of Tony Stark's Daughter and I love and enjoy writing its fanfiction. So this is it!

For your information, for those who have read Tony Stark's Daughter: Ordinary yet Extraordinary, this book is not its sequel. This is another book of Tony Stark's Daughter (that I am yet still thinking whether to do it as a siri or not) with a new storyline. A lot of humour in this book. Different storyline as I said. Feel like it's funnier than the other one.

For those who haven't read my other Tony Stark's Daughter: Ordinary yet Extraordinary, you're welcome to read. Just go to my profile!
