~Danny~
Once we got to the lake, there was a big crowd of people crowding around a big stage. On that stage was.... the mayor, some wealthy looking family and Vlad! No one seemed to be talking yet, but I knew something would go wrong (probably for me).
"Come on guys! Let's see what's going on!" Mable yelled. Dipper and I looked suspiciously at each other, but followed her any way.
Squeak! Squeeeak! "Hello! Ladies and gentlemen!" Said the Mayor a little too excited. "This is Vlad Masters the Mayor of Amity Park! Today is a welcoming picnic day at the lake to welcome Mr. Masters."
    I took a closer look at the family behind Vald. The parents looked like the perfect ones you see on TV. While the daughter was about the twins age and had a look on her face that said oh, I'm way better than you.
Then Vlad stepped up to the microphone. Everyone began to clapping, Vlad held up his hand as if to silence the clapping. "Thank you very much!" I heard a lone cheer that sounded like my Dad's. Oh. No. My parents are here. "I'm so glad to be here. I going be staying with the Northwest family for the rest of the summer!" Vlad announced. The mayor took the microphone and said something unimportant and the crowd started going away.
Ugh! I can't believe Vlad is staying for the rest of the summer. I look at the twins, they're both giving the Northwest girl some hateful looks. Wait, was Dipper blushing a little bit?
    "Come on guys, let's..."I didn't get to finish my sentence.
    "Danny, boy! I didn't know you were going to be here! Are you here for Vlady's announcement too?"my Dad said too cheerful. My mom was right behind dad looked like she was about to say something, but...
    "Maddy! Daniel! Jack." I turned around to see Vlad standing there as if nothing's wrong.
     "Vlady my man! What's going on?!" Dad yelled too loudly.
     "I'll like to invite you and your family to come to dinner. It's going to be at the Northwest's mansion." Vlad said too kindly.
     "Sure. What time?" Mom said nicely.
      "Is five good?"
"I can't." I spoke out. "I'm babysitting the twins until seven. Plus, Sam coming tonight."
"I'm sure the Northwest family doesn't mind having some extra guests over." Vlad replied.
"That sounds great." My mom said and then gave me 'you are coming look.' I sighed there's no way I'm getting out of this.
"Um.. Danny? Can we go swimming now?" Asked Dipper uncomfortably.
"Sure." I mumbled.
I didn't bring a bathing suit, but I didn't care. I took my t-shirt off and jumped in. Dipper and I just stood there for a minute. He opened his mouth to say something, but then Mable started to splash us.
"Seriously, Mable?" Dipper asked iterated.
Before she could answer, I splashed her back. That's when the splash war began. All I could see was water going everywhere. After a couple of minutes, the war stopped and we all started to laugh.
"Not to ruin the mood, but we need to go to the mystery shack and my house to get some dry clothes before the dinner thing." I sighed.
"Why don't you like Vlad? He seems like a good guy." Mable asked.
"Seems." That's all I said.
We got out of the lake and made our way to the mystery shack. The trip was actually pretty quick. The twins got changed without questions. Around four o'clock, we made our way to my house.
  ~Dipper~
      We finally arrived at Danny's condo. It was pretty much a really big old hotel room. He opened the door to his bed room to find a goth chick sitting on his bed.
    "Sam!" He cried out. 
    Sam pretty much wore all black. At first I would say her style was just like Robbie's, but I noticed that her's made her seem creative. Her make up brought out her purple eyes.
     "Um.. Why are you wet?" She asked kinda rudely. 
     "Lake. My parents are making well.. Have dinner with Vlad. You don't have to come along if you don't want to, but.."
    "Of course I'll come! If that fruit loop even.." Danny coughed before she finished the sentence.
     "Um.. Sam. This is Dipper and Mable Pines. This is Sam." Danny said as if  trying to distract everyone.
    "Are you guys going to the dinner too?" Asked Sam.
    I have to say that at first Sam kinda scared me, but once she started to talk I began to see that she's actually a good person. 
    "Yup. Are you Danny's girlfriend? How long have you been together?" Mable asked excitedly.
   They both seemed to blush. "We're not.. I mean.. I. Not. Just uh.. Friends." Danny said embarrassed.  
   After that, Danny grabbed some clothes to get changed. Mable started on a story about I have no clue. Sam seemed to be pretending to pay attention, but didn't seem to do it correctly. In less than five minutes, Danny was finally changed and we started to walk to the Northwest family's mansion.
