The families turned their heads at the two nervous young people who took their seats beside their parents .

"I hope you both share something about yourselves..to each other.."Renu initiated the conversation to ease awkwardness.

They didn't dare to rise their heads.She was nervous,he was uneasy.

"Randhir..."Renu emphasized his name . Only he could understand the hidden teasing.

"Y..Yeah.."he stuttered feeling everybody's attention focus on him.

Kishore and Anju turned to their daughter to know her reaction.Her face was pink due to shyness and nervousness.

"Umm..bhai sahab mujhe lagta hai bachcho ko thoda time dena chahiye.."Kishore said .

Harsh's eyes travelled to his son.There were unexplainable emotions floating in his stiff eyes.

"Hmm.. You're right whatever the decision of the kids..we have to accept that.. because it's their life.."Harsh answered in a heavy tone.

Randhir's eyes snapped at his father.Somwhere he didn't like his father's decision as he was the one who pushed him to meet the girl.

"Jee.."Kishore nodded uneasily.

"Acha abb hume chalna chahiye..We have am important meeting in the evening and it's already 12...so"Harsh glanced over his wrist watch.

"Arey nahi bhai sahab bina lunch kiye hum apko jane nahi denge.."Anju requested.

"But..."Harsh tried to refresh but cut off in mid by her next sentence.

"Sanyukta ne banaya hai khana...."Anju blurted.

Randhir's heart fluttered.

"Fir to mana karne ka sawal hi nahi hota.."Renu chirped.

Kishore and Anju smiled widely .

"Sanaya Sanyukta...beta.."Anju signalled her daughters to arrange the dishes on the dining table.

The girls stood up swiftly specially Sanyukta to avoid the awkward atmosphere.His time to time stares made her feel jittery .

Once the girls were in the dining area Sanaya nudged her sister by poking her arm.

"Di...kya batein ki aap dono ne.."she whispered so that no one can hear them.

"Nothing.."she ignored putting the bowls on table.

"Oh my God Di..he is so hot.."Sanaya dreamily said taking a glance of Randhir.

"Sanaya..shhh.."Sanyukta glared her but her cheeks said a different story.

"You don't find him hot?"Sanaya cocked her brows.

"I don't know.."she averted her eyes.

"Yeah..how do you?All the time you adored everything except him.."Sanaya rolled her eyes."People don't know the value of the priceless thing when they have it."

Sanyukta stunned on her last line.

Are they meant for each other?

Her reverie was broken by Sanaya who called out their parents for lunch.

Everybody entered in the dining area .She composed her posture consciously when the familiar stranger gaze followed her .

"Wow..too many dishes..my hunger increased double I can't wait to devour the food.."Renu clapped her hands.

Once everybody took their seats.Anju asked the maid to serve them .

"Arey Sanyukta come and sit.."Renu said to Sanyukta who stood silently behind her mother.

"Umm..Aunty..I'll eat later.."she said politely.She didn't want to sit across him.It was difficult to compose a straight face and normal heartbeat under his presence.

"Sanyu..baitho..itane pyaar se keh rahi hai Renu ji.."Anju pleased through her eyes.

Nodding her head positively,she sat beside her brother which was quite far where Randhir was sitting.

She looked at him and clearly saw certain disappointment on his face .

They ate chatting and laughing like a family .Only two people were having there meal in silence.

Soon it was time for them to leave.

"Bahut acha laga yaha aakar..or aap sabse mil kar.."Harsh said while walking outside the house to the road where the driver was waiting for them.

"Hume bhi.."Anju smiled her best.

"I hope humari mulaqat jald ho.."Renu said eyeing Sanyukta and Randhir.

"Acha abb hum chalte hai.. namaste.."Harsh joined his hands.

"Bachcho.."Kishore eyed his younger children to take their blessings.

Ankit and Sanaya understood their father's command and bent to touch their feet.

"God bless you kids.."Harsh patted their back so did Renu.

Randhir who watched their actions of respect towards his parents automatically came forward and bent down to touch Anju's feet.

Anju startled by his sudden action and felt proud of her would be son in law.

"Humesha khush raho..beta"she blessed with moist eyes.

He further bent to touch Kishore's feet but he held him in between and instead hugged him.

"You're a gem Randhir..we will be very lucky if you two get marry.."Kishore said .

Sanyukta observed his actions.She felt he was a genuine person the way his eyes held pure respect for her parents and she came forward to do the same with his parents.

"No dear.. You're already here.."Renu indicated at her left side of chest and embraced Sanyukta in a motherly hug.

"We'll be more lucky if you come to our house as our daughter in law.. Sanyukta.."Harsh caressed her head .

"Abb hume ijajat dijiye.."Harsh said finally to Kishore and sat inside the car followed by Renu.

Randhir who stood there a meter away from her took a last glance of her and hopped on the passenger seat with heavy heart as she didn't look at him.

The car soon drove off .

His eyes fell on the rear view mirror on her reflection.She was looking at him.Unknowingly a smile crept on his lips.

He didn't regret to come there for sure.
