Yo! So uh... it's been a while. I never really had enough time to update this. And coming up with chapters is hard because you don't know how to start and stuff. But I'mma just get to it! Althea, everyone, hope you enjoy it!

Me and Frisk stared in shock at the young goat girl, who called herself Toriel. We never saw anyone like her, but luckly she was able to save us.

"Are you two okay?" she asked. The both of us nodded despite the scars we had.

Toriel walked over to us. "It's okay! I have healing powers! Just hold still." She put her finger on Frisks head and the scars on her dispearred. She did the same to me and I felt stronger, instead of aching all over.

"Thank you." I said. "Who did you say you were again?"

"Toriel." she replied. "I pass through this place everyday to see if anyone has fallen down here. And luckley I found you two just in time! What are your names?"

"I'm Althea!"

"And I'm Frisk!" we said. Frisk continued. "Where are we?"

"You two have fallen into the Underground, and though that door is the ruins." She pointed to a door at the end of the hall. "Come on. I'll guide you two through the catacombs." she walked towards the door as me and Frisk followed her.

We entered a small room colored in purple with two staircases, and a giant patch of leaves in front, with a flickering star over it. As Toriel went up the stairs, me and Frisk went over to it and gave it a little touch.

"The shadow of the ruins," we heard a voice say "fills you with determination"

We were both so caught off-guard by the voice, not remembering anyone else who came with us, and it wasn't Toriels voice.

"Are you two ok?" Tori asked us.

"Yeah! We'll be with you in just a minute Toriel." I replied. She replied "Ok!" and went though the door on top of the stairs to wait for us.

I turned to Frisk. "Did you hear that to?. asked. She nodded. "Yeah. Who was that? It didn't sound like Tori or Flowey, and I don't remember anyone else falling down with us." Then it said something again. "What about behind you?" it asked. Without thinking about who could be behind us, we whipped around to the voice. There was another girl who looked a lot like Frisk. She wore a green sweater with a yellow stripe, brown pants the same color as her hair cut into a bob cut, and large brown eyes on her pale rosy-cheeked face. And she was floating in mid-air!

Me and Frisk were surprised yet again.

"H-hi." Frisk said nervously.

"Hey." The ghost replied with a monotoned voice.

"Hi." I said as well. "I-I'm Althea, and this is-"

"I know." the ghost said. "I heard you guys introduce yourselves to Toriel. I'm Chara. I lived with Tori a few years ago until, well, you can obviously tell." she said gesturing towards her floating body.

"Wow. We're so sorry." I said. "Excuse me for asking, but how did you... become a ghost?". Chara hesitated a bit. "Um... you shouldn't keep her waiting!" she responded quickly.

"Oh right! C'mon Frisk!" we ran though with Chara floating behind us the door and saw Toriel waiting for us in the middle of the room. "Oh! There you guys are! Anyway, welcome to your new home!" she annoced happily. "Let me show you how the Ruins work out." behind her were 6 stones in a certain order. She stepped on 4 of them in a certain order as well and hit a switch behind the rocks which made the door at the end of the hall open. She turned to us and continued. "The Ruins are full of puzzles. You'll have to solve them to get to different rooms. Plese adjust yourselves to the puzzles here." she walked through the door and we followed her into another room, this time with some small rivers with bridges.

"To get though her, you two will need to flip some of the swiches here. Don't worry, I labeled the ones you need to flip.". She walked over the brige and waited for us on the other side. We did the same and went to the switch with yellow writing next to it which Frisk read out loud.

"'Please press this switch. - Toriel' Wow. That sure is nice of her to label the switches for us!" she chirped. "Yeah." I agreed as I looked at the smiling Toriel and pressed the switch. We walked over the bridge with Tori and did the same with the 1st switch with basically the same writing. "Splendid!" she exclaimed behind us. "You guys are good at this! Come on, to the next room!".

The next room was basicially empty with nothing but the door and a small training dummy near the end. "Since you two are humans living in the Underground," Toriel started when we got to the next room. "Monsters may attack you, so you'll need to be prepared for them. Luckely, I'm here to help you guys. When you encounter a monster, try to strike up a convortsation."

"A convertaion?" Frisk questioned.

"Yes. Trust me. It will work, and you should make a new friend!" Tori replied.

"I dougpt it would've worked for Flowey." I whispered to Frisk. We walked over to the dummy, and like when we got into battle with Flowey, Frisks soul glowed and we entered a battle with the dummy.

"You encountered the Dummy." Chara described behind us. 4 buttons inluminated in front of us. "Fight", "Act", "Item" and "Mercy". confused, "Dummy". This time I pressed it and 2 more buttons that read "Check" and "Talk" appeared.

"Which one should we try?" I asked Frisk.

"Let's see what "Check" does." she replied and pressed the "Check" button..

Chara started describing the dummy; "*Dummy - ATK 0 DEF 0 * A cotton heart and a button eye * You are the apple of my eye. ... Um... forget that last part."

So me and Frisk ignored that last part and stared at the confused Dummy. "Don't stand there doing nothing. Why don't you hit it?" Chara asked.

"Why should we?" Frisk asked. "It has zero defense. We could kill it."

"I know." Chara replied with a smile. I glanced over a Toriel who looked a little confused., so I tapped Frisks sholder. "Lets talk now. Tori's getting confused."

"Okay, okay." She pressed the first couple buttons and then talk. "So... uh... how you doing?". The Dummy just stared blankly with its eye.

"*You talk to the Dummy. *... *It doesn't seem much for conversation. *Toriel seems happy with you. You won! You earned 0 XP and 0 Gold."

"XP?"

"Gold?" we asked. "How would we get gold?" I asked Chara. "Sometimes they drop gold when you fight them." she replied.

Toriels voice broke in. "Very good! You guys are good!". We walked into the other room.

Yo! Again. So, um, I was originally going to get this chapter up to Nabstablooks fight, but this chapter is really long already, the fight's a long way ahead, and it's pretty late where I am. So I'm just going to end it here. Althea, once again, if you have any suggestions for the upcoming chapters just let me know in the comments or on my message board. I think I screwed up the chapter by adding too many details, but tell me what you think. I hope you'll be able to add the next chapter tomorrow, but it might not have Blooky's fight because I wanted it to be a separate chapter, but I'll see what happens.
