Yo, it's Brooke, let's write this thing. I've been wanting to do this chapter so let's do this.

Before we got to the room where our next battle was gonna take place, we walked through a hall consisting on a table with a cube of cheese, and another star. Frsik went over and gave it a tap.

Knowing that the mouse may someday get the cheese, fills you with determination.

Although when I tried to pick up the cheese, it was stuck to the table. But it didn't matter, so we continued on.

As me and Frisk walked into the next room, we both started to hear some quiet sobbing.  As we got closer, we saw something white sitting on a pile of leaves, with large tears coming from the sides of their body.

"Al, look at that monster! Do you think they're related to Whimsun?" Frisk asked referencing the sensitive monster we met a while a go.

"I'm not sure." I replied. It didn't look much like her. But either way, we both started walking a little closer, wanting to see if they needed help.

Frisk ley out a little greeting. "Hello. Are you okay?".

The figure turned around around quickly, and showed itself as a small ghost with large tear-filled eyes. It was shaking a bit and continued it as it shed tears as it spoke.

"Ooh noo. I didn't mean to... Oh no.". 

The red glow came from Frisk, and then, we were fighting the nervous ghost.

Here comes Nabstablook!

Nabstablook stood there in front of us, and luckly stopped crying long enough for us to check out the "Act" options. Check, Flirt, Threat, Cheer.

"He looks so upset. Why don't we try cheering?" Frisk suggested.

I did so and smiled at him gentally, and gave a tiny nervous laugh in response. He started crtying again, only this time when I got hit by the tears, they stung like acid!

"Ow! What the...? Frisk, don't get hit by his tears!" I yelled to her. Luckly she was already dodging them.

Napstablook looks just a little bit better.

"Let me try." Frisk said after the tears stopped, and gave him a friendly wave with a tiny smile, attempting flirting.

"I'd just weigh you down." he responded. This time he didn't attack. Instead giant words appeared that spelt out "REALLY NOT FEELIN UP TO IT RIGHT  NOW. SORRY."

I gave a confused look to Frisk, who smiled back at me. I tried cheering him on again, and gave the same tiny "Heh." and cried again. This time they crawled up the walls of the hall, and crawled all around trying to hit us, but we managed to avoid most of them.

"Al, look!" Frisk yelled, pointing to something in front of us. Two bars that read HP, and said 1, meaning we both had 1 health left.

"Oh geez! How'd we'd not notice that before?" I was panicking on what we were going to do, until I remembered the candy I got. I took the two pieces out of my pocket and handed one to Frisk.

"Where'd you get this?"

"Candy bowl, just eat it if you want to live!" I yelled back in a panic, and gulped the piece down. We each received 10 HP, and now had 11 HP.

Napstablook continued with the "spider-man tears", (Get it?) and this time we only hit one. And this time, we both gave him a cheer.

Napstablook wants to show you something.

"let me try..." he said quitely. He starting crying once more, but this time they floated up to his head, and created a little top hat. "i call it 'dapper-blook' do you like it..." He stood quitly as he waited for a response.

"It's so cute!" I called out.

"Yeah! Impressive Napstablook!" Frisk yelled after me.

"oh gee..." he started to say. The glow from Frisk dissapeared, and we were back in the small room.

"i usually come to the RUINS becvause there's nobody around... but today i met a couple of nice people"

"No problem Napstablook!" Frisk said.

I added "You looked so sad, we hadto cheer you up."

"thank you...oh, i'm rambling again i'll get out of your way." he replied, and disappeared on the leaves.

Frisk stood on theleaves and looked down. "Bye Napstablook!" and waved.

I smiled and we though the left door.

"Hey Al, look at this!" I heard Frisk yell. I walked back and realized she went though the door at the end of the hall. When I went though, I saw two cobwebs, and Frisk reading a sign.

"It says 'Spider Bake Sale. All proceeds go to real spiders'". Chara read out to me as Frisk finished reading.

"That's... interesting." I added. I went over to the smallest web with donuts, and another sign stating they're 7 gold.

"Hey Frisk, wanna use some of our gold to buy a donut?" I asked. She gave a happy nod and left some of her gold in the web, and I did the same. A spider came down and gave us a donut.

"Thank you!" I called out as we left. I split the donut in two and gave one half to Frisk, for when we get hurt again.

The room was also a hall, with a sign reminding us about the bake sale, and 3 Froggits. We walked over to the first one which gave a couple croaks.

"I got this." Chara spoke up before she started translating. "'Sigh...' My friend never listens to me. Whenever I talk, they skip though my words by pressing [X]. That's right....... Pressing [X]................. ..................... Well, at least you two listen to me.'"(Whoa. Fourth wall break)

We had no idea what "Pressing [X] meant, but we carried on to the next one.

"'I heard that using 'F4' can make you have a 'full screen,'. But what does F4 stand for? Four frogs? I have only seen a maximum of three frogs in this room... This is troubling, to say the least.""

Still confused, we walked to the last one.

"'I have heard you two are quite merciful, for humans. Surely you know by now a monster wears a YELLOW name when you can SPARE it. What do you two think of that?'"

"Quite helpful." I said with Frisk nodding.

"Bad.' Chara replied. She seemed to have gotten used to our stares by now.

"'It is rather helpful. Remember, sparing is just saying you won't fight. Maybe one day, you'll have to do it even if their name isn't yellow.'"

After hearing that, we gave the frog a nod and walked off, until my phone rang.

"Hello. It's Tori. I just remembered I haven't cleaned up in a while, so there might be some stuff lying around. If you want, you two can pick some stuff up, but don't carry more than you two need.  Someday one of you might see something you really like, so you'll need room."

The next puzzle in the room had a bunch of patches, and a sign that read "Just one switch."

"Maybe we need to jump down the patches and find the switch." Frisk suggested.

"That sounds possible. Let's each take a patch." I suggested. I ran to the 1st, Frisk got the second, and Chara  decided to float down the 3rd. I jumped down the patch and fell into a room with a patch of leaves, and something poking out of the ground. When I approached it, a large carrot popped out and attacked me!

It was larger than an average one, and stared at me with a sinister grin. The actions read Check, Talk, Devour, and Dinner. Devour and Dinner being a little odd to say the least, so I tried Check.

It's kids voice managed to croak "Farmer Locally Very Locally." And a bunch of vegetables bounced at me! An odd way to get hurt. I actually was hungry, and when Vegetoid caught me patting my stomach, he commented "Eat Your Greens." as if he was a parent talking to their kid, and threw more vegetables at me, only some actually being green. I caught one of them and restored the one HP I lost. That convinced him to let me spare him.

I went over to a tiny door to the side of the room. And like the last time I entered a room like it, it took me back up to the room, where Frisk and Chara waited.

"Hey. How'd it go.?" I asked.

I pressed a switch that turned off the spikes over there." pointing to a trap at the halls end door. "And I met a monster named Loox. He said 'Please don't pick on me.' and hit me with bubbles! There were option to Check, Pick on, and Don't Pickn On, so I didn't. He was happy I understood, and his attacks were more gentle, so I was able to spare him. And I got 5 Gold."

"Wow! Sounds intense." I replied. I told her about Vegetoid and we turned to Chara to hear if anything happened to her.

"Nothing.". We decided not to maintain the rooms anymore. "We have the others, why don't we check them out?" Chara suggested.

"Sure!" Frisk agreed. And hopped down the fifth one. Me and Chara jumped after her. After we got up, we realized that Napstablook was next to us.

"i fell down a hole... now i can't get up..." he mumbled. "go on without me..."

I was confused about his irrelevant pity, so I reminded him "Ghosts can fly, can't they?"

"oh right... i forgot..." he replied. "oh well..." and disappeared. The three of us went back too after he left.

The fourth hole had a Faded Red Ribbon in it.

"I wonder where this came from." I wondered out loud.

"Maybe someone fell down here and accidently left it." Frisk suggested.

"If you're cuter, monsters won't hit you as hard." Chara commented, and looked away after she said that.

"Good to know." I mentained, and tied the ribbon into a bow, and handed the ribbon to Frisk. "It'll look cute, and protect you a bit." I told her.

"Thanks!' she chirped, and tied it in her bob cut. Then we left for the sixth room.

It had another Vegetoid, who we spared, and Frisk got her HP back.

Going back up. Off to the next!

This puzzle was easy, but foreshadowed a very difficult one. We had to press switches to remove spikes at the beginning of an exit door, despite a sign saying it's not an exit, it's a "rotation in perspective. Strangely, the spikes were already down, so pressing the yellow, blue and red switches did nothing. Perhaps Tori passed by and turned it off.

Now, here's where the puzzle got hard. The next room consisted of the same one, but with a red and green switch, and a sign that said to press the blue one.

"Where could it be?" I asked myself.

"Maybe if we press one of the others, we'll find it." Frisk suggested. She went over to the green one, but got ambushed by twin Looxs. I ran over to the three.

We both said that we didn't want to tease them, with their "Finally someone gets it." reply, followed by the bubbles Frisk maintained.

One allowed us to spare, but the other said "How about a staring contest." But gave us gentle bubbles. Luckily we could spare them after.

"I wouldn't press that if I were you." Chara said as Frisk was about to press the switch. She pointed to the pillar next to the door.When I went over, I discovered a blue switch.

"Hey Frisk, I found it!" I called to her before pressing it.

The spikes went down, and we continued on.

Hey guys. There was Blooky! So I really wanted to try to squeeze the last puzzles in before getting to Tori's fight, but again it's late, so I'll try to edit the chapter more before calling it officially done. Plus I got distracted, so it's down late. I really gotta stop doing that. Anyways, hope you enjoyed it so far, and just wait. I'll edit it, and that'll be it for a while. Because I have a 3-day vacation and want to enjoy it. Bye!
