Salia and I were both currently in front of the giant hole that Akko broke through, it was almost a quarter of the tree's trunk.

"This is going to be really bad for winter won't it." I said.

"No kidding,it's so massive!" Continued Salia.

I started thinking.

"Let's go ask Renka or Mary at the guild, besides we need food that's suitable for the baby right?" I told Salia.

"Are we gonna party today?!"

"Hey, there are things we can never change...

So hell yeah we will!"I said as we high fived each other.

Salia turned back to the house's direction.

"HEY AKKO WE'RE GOING TO BRING BACK SUPPLIES! PLEASE LOOK AFTER THE KIDDO FOR US!" Shouted Salia before turning to Edel with a smile on her face.

They both began to walk away.

"HOLD IT!!" Shouted Akko flying down towards them as they turned around.

"What are you two thinking? My lord needs to be with her guardians at all times! You can't just leave her on her own like that!" She scolded the two.

"I don't know what you're talking about, I was left alone here for as long as I remember." said Salia

"Yeah but you weren't as young as she is right now."

"We don't want to take her cause we fear she'll be in danger."

Seraphina decided to speak up.

"I can come with you?! I know how to handle myself!"

"You were literally born yesterday." said Salia.

Seraphina pouted.

Seeing the situation as it was, Edel decided to intervene.

"Fine we'll take you with us,but don't call us mother and father there okay? I don't want to ruin my chances with....someone" said Edel.

Salia smirked.

"Hoho? Is this who I'm thinking about?" Salia asked.

"Shut it, you."

"Anyways, you got it?" Asked Edel.

Seraphina immediately nodded in agreement.

"Alright then, Akko you hold down the fort until we come back." said Edel as Salia picked up Seraphina

"Understood." she said before flying back to our house.

Edel then looked at both Seraphina and Salia.

"Well then,shall we?" He asked them as they both nodded.

LATER 

It took the two friends a while to arrive to their destination but they eventually made it in a few hours by flying there at high speed.

Fortunately for them, Seraphina enjoyed being carried along the way and being tossed around everytime.

An act that would incur a certain dragon's wrath should they hear about this.

They reached the city they were looking for as Seraphina was amazed at the immense city that was standing before her.

Salia and Edel landed as they started walking.

"Salia, you go with Seraphina to go buy the food while I go to the guild and ask Mary about anyone that can help us with the issue."

"Aww man,I wanted to go there."

"You can handle kids better than I do salia, and if I send you there you might say something problematic so no shot." he said as Salia pouted.

"Boooo!!" She booed him with Seraphina following her.

"I mean if you go shopping then you can bring the food this time." Said Edel as Salia immediately lit up.

"You got it chief!!" she shouted running away to the middle of the city as Edel smiled.

"Now then..." he then took the path on his left which after another turn took him on a single road that took to a large building with a large area around it.

He arrived by the large gate and opened it.

Inside he was greeted by numerous tables and a lobby comprised of two open floors, there were plenty of people there, all with different styles, gears and other things.

When he opened the large gate it turned all the attention towards him which he ignored as he began to walk to the counter.

"Hey, isn't this kid the rookie who fought off an entire pack of clawhounds?" asked someone.

"Heard he's best friends with Salamander" said another .

"But they never took tier 1 quests though."

"Yeah I heard its because they're too young,around 16 or 17." Said another

"I also heard they can't-"

CRACK!!

Without him realising it, Edel had broken the wooden floor by stomping on it as his foot transformed into a large paw.

It shook the people who were talking as they turned away.

Edel took his foot out and approached the bar who was being handled by a girl with red hair, red eyes, wearing a black and white maid uniform.

She's one of Edel's oldest friends, having met her shortly after meeting Salia.

"Hey there Edel,pretty nice dent you left over there."

"Hey Renka,I'll tell Salia to pay for it." He said.

"Good,looking for another quest? I suppose you told Salia to stay behind to hide something since that's what she usually does,right?" she asked him.

Bullseye.

"Maybe..."

He then regained his composure.

"Anyways I'm here to ask if you know anyone we can hire to fix a large hole in our tree." He said.

"Yeah about that, we got complaints about workers recently about how many times they have to travel to the tree to fix something you guys broke." she said.

"What?what do you mean."

"One time you turned into a giant fish called a whale and broke the entire fountain, that other time Salia started a fire and we had to call an emergency due to how much pollution that would cause if it was left unchecked."

"That day one of you brought a cannon,I am not even going to question how you got that and fired the other through the upper trunk of the tree,they complained of vertigo." said Renka listing all the times they called for workers.

And she kept on going and going for a few minutes before concluding.

"In a single year!" she finished it.

"Oh man,and I thought they appreciated the tip."

"That explains why most of them quit their job huh, they're set for life." She said.

"Yeah, Salia really felt bad for them." Edel said. 

"Yeah." Renka said before thinking a little.

"Weelll, I might have a mission that might actually benefit you guys." She said.

"Oh really?! Sweet!" Said Edel.

"Yeah, some people by the mountains of Atlanya need help with an issue regarding bandits pillaging their village regularly, they don't have any money so they proposed service instead" She said as she handed him a paper that seemed like the announcement poster,these papers are usually specially made by the people who request the aid and are returned to them by the adventurers who take on the challenge as a way of authenticity and making sure they are certified by the guild

"Nice one renka, thanks for that."

"I'll tell Salia immediately!"

"Don't forget to pay for the hole!" She shouted as Edel was getting farther and farther until he left the guild.

Renka couldn't help but smile

"As carefree as ever,Sarah will be pleased to hear that" she said before resuming back to her Job

LATER

Edel was running back to Salia and Seraphina at full speed with his legs having morphed into that of an animal

Which obviously caused him to bump into someone

Well

A small someone

He immediately stopped to apologise as he took one quick look to see who it was

A young looking girl wearing old traditional clothes with a kitsune mask hanging that they used to wear which was now on the ground

Edel froze

"GUILDMASTER!!"he shouted to the girl who rubbed her head and looked up

She first wore a look of anger before being replaced by one of surprise

"Edel?by the way you were running,I'd guess you got your hands on a new quest right?"

As he helped her up,Edel explained the situation

"I see....

You guys really need to be more responsible with that tree okay?I know i allowed Salia to live her without adult supervision,but you two shouldn't take it too far"

"Sorry about that,I'll tell her about this" Edel apologised as he bowed down

The guild master smiled

"It's okay,I hope she's doing okay " she said

"Yeah,she's running around the city as we speak to get both food and supplies for our quest" he explained

"What's the details on the quest?" She asked

"Something about a village needing protection"

Something seemed to have blocked in the guild master's mind

"......what area is it?" She asked him

"Atlanya"

"PFFT!!"

THE Guild master held herself from screaming as she mentioned Edel to go

"You sure?" He asked her

She started flailing her arms

"Okay okay,well I'll be going now!I'll tell Salia we saw each other" he said before going back to running at full speed

The guild master turned towards the guild

MEANWHILE

Renka was cleaning some plates in the kitchen of the guild when the guild master appeared out of nowhere

She wasn't that surprised as she greeted her

"Oh hi guild master,how was your meeting with my m-" however she was interrupted

"YOU IDIOT!!!"she screamed

"Wha-EH?!" Renka was taken aback by her boss's sudden rage

"WHY DID YOU GIVE THEM A PROTECTION QUEST?!EVERYTIME THEY GO ON THESE THEY DESTROY EVERYTHING

AND I HAVE TO DEAL WITH EVERYTHING!!" She shouted at the top of her lungs so loudly some people could hear her

Renka especially who was holding her ears as she could hear some ringing in them

"H-how are you even aware?"

"I ran into him earlier!"she shouted

'Oh' renka thought to herself as it all made sense

Stopping Edel or Salia isn't an option since several times they break in and steal the announcements

Sometimes traces of burns and melted metal are left behind

Other times

Nothing has been touched and everything is in place,except for the announcement itself

It does not take long to figure out which one does which

"Oh dear" said Renka

"Prepare the headache meds,I'm gonna prepare for it while I'm ahead" said the guild master floating away

"R-right away"

And so the guild master was mentally preparing herself for the storm of paperwork that was approaching while Edel and Salia met up unknowing of what was waiting for them

IN ATLANYA

There was a forge with loud hammer strikes echoing around it as the everything was wavy due to the immense heat produced

They had a feminine build while barely wearing any clothes

They finished by dumping the sword in a large tank of water as they brought it back up

The sword was perfect, a fine blade that was refined over a thousand times,runic words inscribed in it and a purple glow within it

However it was tossed aside

"Another failure"

The person smiled

"Here we go again
