Chapter 6 : Maya
Maya
I opened my eyes to see where I was. I couldn't believe it. I'm in the Enchanted Forest, it's where my mother was supposed to live in! But why am I here? As I was looking around, I noticed my attire was different. It looks like I am wearing a familiar clothes but whose? I also happened to have a bow behind my back. "Great. How am I going to find Emma in here?" I muttered to myself. Then I hear a noise. As if by instinct, I shot an arrow. "Ow!" A person said. I see it was someone I didn't expect to see. "Jimmy Cricket?" He said, pulling the arrow, "At your service." I stare in amazement of how I was able to do that.
Jimmy
As I was expected, Maya would've figured out that Emma was her mother and try to find her. She looks exactly like Snow, like David described, but I am amazed of how she was able to shoot an arrow like her grandmother. "So, what you doing out here, my dear?" I asked her. Maya looks embarrassed of the situation. "Well, you see, Jimmy-" "Jimmy is my Enchanted name here in the Enchanted Forest, in Storybrooke, my name is Archie." I explained to the young Princess. "Oh. Well, can you explain why I was brought here?" She asks. I stratched my head, "It seems like you can detetch your mother by using your magic." "Really? But she's the Savior, I'm not!" "Maya, you can't change fate, even if you wanted to." I advise her. She sighs, "Please tell me how I find her." "Maya, just use your instincts. Trust yourself." She nods at me as she closes her eyes and she notices a trail of magic appears like it appears for her. "Wow." She said, dumbfound. "See, I told you it would work. Now, you must go on your own." She looks at me directly, "You're not coming?" "This is your own quest, Maya. I can't interfere." She took a deep breath as she follows the magic trail.
Emma
As I was in my chains, I hear something, a poof of whirlwind. "What the-" I said, as the whirlwind dissolves and in front of me was Maya! "Maya?" I asked in shock. She saw my chains and then said, "What happened?" I said, as she unchains me, "Rumple happened." She looks at me with disappointed eyes. "I know." She said after we leave Rapunzel's tower. "Y-You-" "It look likes "Operation Destiny" is revealed right in front of me and I didn't know it." "Did Henry knew?" I asked, nervously. Maya shook her head, "I don't think he has a clue. I remembered by touching the Storybook, like it was..." "Magic?" I finished her thought. She nods then I noticed a giant coming at us. I took out my gun and shot the giant. He was angry at me and was about to hit me with his club, Maya yelled, "Hey, ugly! Back away from my mother!" She grabs a arrow and aims it on the eye of the giant. The Giant faints as it collapse to the ground. She took my head and poof ourselves back to Storybrooke. "Maya, how you know how to shoot an arrow like that?" I asked her as we walked to my parent's apartment. "Honestly, Mom, I really don't know. It's like I knew I was doing." "You are excactly like your Grandma, that's one thing you inherited. She knew how to use it like that. Maya, look. I'm so sorry." "Don't be. You gave me up, just like with Henry. You gave us our best chance." She replied and gave me a startled hug in comfort. "Can we keep this as a secret? I don't want Henry or anyone to know yet." I asked her. "If that's what you want, but then again, we can't hide it forever, you know." Maya said as we opened the front door as David looks at us in utter shock.
