Chapter 5: Emma
Emma
I woke as Dad was right beside my bedside. "Uh.. Dad?" I whispered. He seems relief that I was awake. "Emma, thank goodness you are ok." "What just happened?" I asked him. Dad rubbed his head, "Well, you were knocked out accidently with Maya's magic." I suddenly realize that she must've unlock her magic. Geez, I'm a horrible mother. "Where is she?" I asked, looking for my daughter. "She's with Henry in Granny's." He informs me, "Although she's so strange." I bit my lip. "What you mean, Dad?" "Well, she looks like Snow. Isn't that strange?" I was in deep thought of how I'm going to tell Maya and Henry that they're related. "Emma, what's wrong? Isn't something I said?" Dad asks. I run as fast as possible.
Gold
Wow, so Maya has the same powers as her mother. This is very interesting. As I was in my shop, the door was opened to reveal Emma barging in. "Aw, Emma. What can I do for you?" I asked her. "You knew she was my daughter, didn't you, Gold?" She sneers at me. "I saw her in first sight when she arrived in Storybrooke. I'm way impressed that you didn't reveal who she was when you had the chance." I replied, grinning at the Savior. "Well, you are the Dark One, just like I was back in Camelot." "Ah, yes. You and Hook I believe." "That was my choice! He was going to die!" "And you made him into the only thing he hates the most." I added. She flings at the memory. "Well, it looks like you got a serious problem, Miss Swan." She looks at me in anger as I twirl my magic to teleport her out of my shop. "Enchanted Forest?" She asks in surprise. "Yes, your birthplace. Remember how you and Hook came for my help after you accidently reversed your parent's timeline? Well, you are not coming back to Storybrooke, my dear." I placed her in Rapunzel's tower and chained her up.
Maya
Henry and I flipped through records from the Police Station. "Nothing. There is no record of my mother anywhere!" Henry said, "Don't worry, I'm sorry that we'll figure this out." I looked at the book he always brought him along. "Henry, what's this?" I asked him. "Oh, that is book of stories about my family history." "May I?" I asked. "None at all, I don't mind." I touched the Storybook and instantly I get flashbacks of my past. I saw Emma and she said, "I know that we will cross paths one day. I love you." I release the book as it dropped to the floor. "Maya, what's wrong?" I turned to my brother, "I need to go." I couldn't believe that Emma is my mother. There is so many questions boggling in my mind but one thing is for certain, she's in trouble and I have to be the one to save her, without any help. I closed my eyes and make a whirlwind poof of smoke and search for my mom.
