Dangerous Game pt. 2 (Hyde x reader)

(You should definitely read part 1 first. Warnings: Implied sexy times, arguing, fluff)

You got out of bed and dressed quickly. "Leaving so soon?" Hyde asked from his spot on the bed. You flashed him a smile. "Yeah. I have things to do today." Once you were dressed, you walked over to his side of the bed and kissed him gently. Had it been much more than a peck, you knew you'd end up right back in the bed with him.

Hyde brought his hand up to the back of your head, trying to keep you in place. You giggled. "I really have to go." You kissed him again and pulled away. You walked toward the door. Once there, you looked over your shoulder and winked at him. "Until next time."

You walked out of Hyde's place feeling lighter than air. The two of you had been sneaking around for a while now, but you didn't label your relationship or your feelings. You just knew it was great. Even though he was a villain and the others would probably scold you, you couldn't help but continue whatever it was you had going with Hyde. He was your addiction.

Lost in your thoughts, you didn't notice the couple across the street, watching you leave Hyde's house. "Come on, Henry. We need to tell Emma," Regina said, pulling her teenage son behind her. Regina made her way to Emma's house, knocking frantically. "Regina?" Regina looked up at Emma. "We've got a problem."

Regina told Emma what they had seen. At first Emma just shrugged. "I mean, if they're happy and not hurting anyone, we shouldn't bother them. I mean, you were a villain once, so was Killian." Regina nodded. "I know that, but I don't trust Hyde. Not with Y/N. I don't want to see anyone get their heart broken. We don't know what Hyde's intentions are."

"Emma, I think Regina's right. Y/N is our friend. Practically family. We have to do everything we can to protect Y/N," Charming interjected. Regina smiled at him. At least someone agreed with her. "Alright, fine. We'll talk to Y/N then." Emma grabbed her signature red jacket and headed out after giving Killian a kiss.

Emma, along with her parents and Regina, made her way to your home. You were outside getting the mail when they approached. "Hi, Sherriff. What can I do for you?" Emma glanced down at the ground, unsure of how to start. Regina spoke up instead, "Look. We know you're seeing Hyde." Your smiled drooped into a frown. "Oh."

"Are you sure that's a good idea? I mean, he's a villain." You arched a brow, ready to point out the hypocrisy, when Snow interrupted, "Not that there's anything wrong with that! We just aren't sure if he's changed. We don't want to see you get hurt." You scoffed lightly. "Hyde wouldn't hurt me. He hasn't yet."

"That doesn't mean he won't." You scowled. "Go away. You don't get to come here and try and tell me about my own relationship." The four heroes exchanged a glance. "We aren't trying to, Y/N. We just want to protect you. If you can look me in the eye and tell me that you trust Hyde without a doubt, we'll drop it. We just want you to be safe and happy."

You looked at Emma, your (e/c) eyes meeting hers. "I trust Hyde. I...love him." No one said a word. They were all looking at you in surprise. Then, a voice asked, "You do?" You whipped your head around to see Hyde standing behind the group of heroes. He was staring at you with wide eyes. Your heart was pounding and your breath caught in your throat.

Did you really love him or had you said it in the moment? You stared into his dark eyes. You saw a softness there that no one else ever got to see. A look that he reserved only for you. "Yes," you answered softly, hoping he'd hear you.

Clearly he did because, in the next moment, he had run over and wrapped his arms around you. "I love you," he told you before he kissed you. This kiss was different. Not at all like the ones you'd shared before. It was passionate, yes, but much more gentle and sweet. It was as if he was afraid of breaking you.

You pulled away and smiled at him. You turned to look at your friends. "See? I am happy. Hyde won't hurt me." Your friends all nodded and grinned. "We'll leave you to it, then." They began to walk away. "Hey, guys?" They all glanced back. "Thanks for looking out for me."You all laughed a little and they left. You looked back to Hyde and pressed your lips to his again, a little more passionately this time. "We should probably take this inside," you whispered when you parted again.
