A Pirate's Life For Me (Killian Jones/Captain Hook x reader)

"Remind me to never let you talk me into anything ever again!" you yelled at Killian. Killian laughed as the two of you ran from the Queen's guards. "I hate the Enchanted Forest!" You had been stupid enough to go along with Killian's plan of sneaking into the Queen's castle to steal a magical item. Something Killian hoped would help him defeat Rumplestiltskin once and for all. "Come on, luv! It's the pirate's life!" It was your turn to chuckle as you finally climbed aboard the Jolly Roger. You'd joined Killian's crew not that long ago when his ship made port in your little village.

You weren't paying attention as you went through your normal routine of shopping the market. Your basket hit someone as you were turning to look at another stall. "I beg your pardon!" you apologized and when you turned, you were met with the bluest eyes you'd ever seen. "It's alright, luv. Killian Jones," he said offering his hand, which you took. Instead of shaking it, he brought your knuckles to his lips. You blushed and glanced down. It was then that you noticed the hook in the place of his other hand.

"It seems you have quite a story, Mr. Jones," you observed, looking at him with curiosity. Killian smirked and began telling you his story. The more you heard the more you wanted to know. His life sounded exciting, but you knew better than to get involved with a pirate. It was dangerous. However, it was like his voice and tales cast a spell on you and before you knew it, you aboard his ship, sailing to a distant land.

You shook your head at the memory and mumbled, "Well, so much for not getting involved." Since that day, you'd been in one adventure after another and they usually ended with you running from someone or something. You weren't going to complain, however. It was a far cry from the calm and somewhat boring life you were leading before. You'd grown accustomed to listening to your fight or flight instinct, just like Killian.

"What are you thinking about, luv?" You glanced over your shoulder at the handsome rogue. "About when we met and all our adventures since then. My favorite was the time you tried to outrun a cyclone and got us blown to Wonderland. You spent days trying to get the Cheshire Cat's hair off your clothes." Killian joined you in laughter. "And you managed to defeat the Bandersnatch, although I'll never understand how." You gave him a cheeky grin. "It must have been your influence," you said before sneaking a hand into his coat and grabbing his rum. After all, it was the pirate's life for you.
