Sam Winchester loved dogs. He really did! But sometimes...

"BONES!" He roared over the field, hoping to catch his golden retrievers attention. Somehow he had pulled free from his grip, and was now happily running around in the sunbathed park. It was lovely weather, so Sam had decided to walk another mile to go somewhere new with his dog. Change of scenery. They say it's beneficial or something.

What he didn't know, is that this was a popular park these days. It was full of people, dogs, children and elderly, which all had decided to go to this exact park on this exact day that Sam decided to go as well.

"BONES!" He yelled again. Alas, no response from the golden dog happily jumping around in the field, romping happily with the other dogs. At a certain moment Bones stopped running and started playing with what looked like a big white poodle.

Sam quickly set up his pace in direction of his four-legged friend.

Gabriel hated dogs. Seriously. Normally, Candy was the sweetest dog in existence, but now.. Because of her he was going to miss his daily appointment at the Sweet Santé. Great.

He was frantically searching around for his four-legged diva, rolling around and playing in the grass. He squinted his eyes- darn he was getting old- and suddenly saw a white spot in the distance, rolling around with with a gold one.

"Candy, why did you have to choose to play at the complete opposite side of the park?" He muttered to himself.

He took a deep breath and set way to his destination. If his destination didn't run away again- like the last three times.

As he came closer he saw another person walking up to the two happily romping dogs, playing in the shade of some large oak trees. This part of the park wasn't that busy, he guessed because it wasn't that sunny as the rest of the park.

The man (he guessed it was a man, even though his half long hair may have suggested otherwise) was really tall, that's what he saw already. He strode to the dogs with his long legs, and stopped about ten yards before the them. Gabriel had difficulty with keeping up. Hey, he wasn't that tall, okay!

The giant crouched down, (he was really tall), and tried to lure his dog to him with some promising words.

"Bones!" He said with a gruff voice. "Come here, buddy!" No reply.

Another strategy. The flannel-wearing guy shifted.

"...I've got some sweets!" He said, and reached with his hand in his pocket.

Suddenly both the dogs were at high alert. They immediately stopped playing, and pointed up their ears.

Gabriel was too. Did he mean real sweets..
or..

Suddenly both the dogs started running and plunged themselves onto the man. The sudden explosion of movement gave him a fright but he soon recovered. He ran to help the poor guy, piled under hyper-energetic dogs.

He ran and grabbed hold of Candy, his white poodle. "Candy-" he sputtered. "Get- off!" He pulled one more time, hard, and tumbled back, his dog on him. Candy shook wildly and started licking his face, drool dripping from her mouth and her snow white fur entangled with dead leaves and grass.

He heard a loud whistle. Candy jumped up and ran towards it. Gabriel closed his eyes. Why do I have a dog in the first place?

He heard a bellowing laugh above him. Gabriel peeked open an eye and saw the other dog owner standing above him. He stretched out a hand. Gabriel took it, and the guy pulled him up. His hand was warm, and his muscles bulged up under his shirt.

"Thanks." He muttered, and took a step back. The guy was pretty muscled, and was way taller than him. Great. Gabriel cursed his length- not for the first time in his life.

He heard a gruff bark behind him, and suddenly he felt a force slam him forward. Gabriel tripped and fell against the giant.

The flannel-wearing stranger caught him easily, and Gabriel was pressed against his chest, which was shaking softly from the laughter.

Gabriel looked up, and his breath stuck in his throat. He looked into beautiful hazel eyes, searching his soul, reading him like a book.

Gabriel was out of words.

"I'm Sam." The stranger said.

"Gabriel." He replied.

"Pleasure." Sam said, and held him a little bit tighter.

Gabriel happily obliged.
