I was ready for the trip wherever they are taking me if its mean that I get to go home soon. I don't trust these people at all but Chase has committed to me that I can go home when all this will be over and I trusts his words somehow. 

I heard a knock on my door, probably the time for me to go. I stood up from the couch I was sitting on and went towards the door when it opened. Caleb was standing there smiling at me "Ready for new adventure!" he said wiggling his eyebrows. I rolled my eyes at his enthusiasm and walked out of the door with him following behind me. I admire the beauty of this place, I can't get enough of looking at them. This place is beautiful and I have already said it several times. 

"What are you thinking?" Caleb asked walking beside me, I turned to look at him, he genuinely looked curious. "I just want to get it over with so that I can go back to my old life" I replied honestly, turning my head forward again. He sighed beside me "You will miss me for sure" he suddenly said making me laugh. "Yeah, Yeah, Cal I would miss you surely" I chuckled, he stopped all of a sudden. I furrowed my eyebrow and looked at him. His body was rigid "What did you call me?" he asked, his voice heavy with emotions. "Cal? I am sorry if you don't like it" I muttered when I saw his expression. I shouldn't be friendly with them. They are not my friends after all and they can never be. "Its just--, never mind" he said shaking his head and started walking again. I followed behind him in confusion. We walked down the stairs and entered in a massive living room. One word can describe the scene -

WOW.

I stopped and stare at the beauty for a bit. "Come on, Chase will be furious if we are late" Caleb said motioning me forward. I nodded my head and walked with him. "Is Chase like a leader of your gang?" I asked him, he sure act like one. Caleb chuckled "Your human slang are hilarious, yeah but you can say that, Chase is a King" he answered me. I raised my eyebrow at 'King'. I was hoping that somehow I am not in a fairy tale but it is getting real at every step. We went towards the giant door and on the other side stood Chase with Alexander. He was standing there crossing his arms in front of his chest and tapping his feet. 

He sure is impatient. He looked towards us with blank face. "I told you 10 minutes" he said annoyed. Okay. "Yeah, yeah, lets go, we are getting late" Caleb said walking around me and towards Alexander.

Chase stared at me for a second and shook his head turning around walking towards them. What was that? Why was he looking at me like that. "How are we reaching to the destination?" I asked because I saw no carriage or other vehicle. Alexander rolled his eyes "Humans are so clueless".

"And we like to keep it that way" Chase said gritting his teeth and giving Alexander a look which shut him up. "You are coming with me and Alexander and Danvers will come on their own" he said shredding his clothes slowly, I shrieked when he was only in his underwear shielding my eyes from the view. What the hell is he doing?

I heard laughing and then growling noise and the noise of breaking bones. I slowly opened my eyes and stare in front of me. Chase was changing into dragon in front of my eyes, my eyes widened. I saw the dragon before and it still make me uneasy. His change was quick and smooth. In a minute, the large dragon was standing in front of me flaring its wings. I stumbled back with the force of wind which he created with its wings. He turned his head towards me and his black eyes found my dark one. When I stare into his eyes, I saw curiosity, interest but no danger that made me a little relieved. "You are riding on his back" Caleb said standing beside me. I turned to stare at him wide eyed. Is he out of his mind, he want me to ride a dragon, a freaking dragon. I would rather eat snakes than getting on him. 

I shook my head, "No, absolutely not" I yelled getting away from them. "He won't hurt you" Caleb said when he saw me reluctant. I looked at the enormous dragon, he was patiently waiting for me. "And how are you so sure?" I questioned him, he shrugged his shoulder "Because if he wanted you dead, he would have done it by now"

I was on the back of dragon gripping tightly, closing my eyes in fear of dying. He flapped his wings and we were in the sky. I slowly opened my eyes and gasped. It was a giant Castle we were living in. I am sure not on earth, it made me worry then where we are?

Dragon was flying with soft pace which made me almost smile. He is doing this so I won't feel scare. For a scary dragon, he sure is a softy. I enjoyed the view in front of me smiling when the wind touched my face. Its been a while since I was out. "That feel awesome" I yelled laughing and enjoying the nature. Dragon beneath me gave a soft growl. I laid down on his back closing my eyes. This feel peaceful and unreal. Suddenly he started going down and I saw a large town in front of us. He sat on the ground in front of a Giant door, I quickly slide down from his back when he stare at me and gestured towards the ground. A person was standing in front of the door with a large sword in his hand. 

"Come on" Chase said, he was fully dressed in his medieval attire. We walked towards the person, he bowed his head towards Chase and looked at me curiously with an almost smile. "Hello Derek" Chase said.

"We have to meet King Lorel" he continued. I was standing beside him clueless. What are we doing here? Is the person here we have to meet?

"He is busy" Derek said avoiding eye contact. Chase beside me growled "I am not asking for a permission besides I am welcome here any time" he said gritting his teeth and walking forward ignoring Derek who was trying to stop him. Chase looked backward at me "Well, follow me" he said turning around and walking again. I quickly walked in his direction looking at Derek apologetically. Chase shouldn't have to treat him like that.  "Welcome to our Kingdom" he said giving me a small smile as I walked past him entering in their Kingdom. It was marvelous place and I felt a sudden happiness surround me. "Can you walk faster!" Chase said in irritation, I rolled my eyes but quicken my pace a little. We started walking to the path, I stared at my surrounding. People were walking everywhere, children were playing happily. This place looks so lively. I smiled watching them. My heart filled with happiness staring at the scene. Suddenly a woman came in my direction with a bucket of apples. She offered me one which I took happily and thanks her in return. She smiled and went to her stall. I took a bite of the apple and moaned at the taste. It was juicy and delicious. 

We walked for a while and then I saw a castle came in my view. It was Giant and beautiful. Is every place here like that? "Come on, King must be in his study" Chase muttered, he was silent in the whole journey speaking only when necessary. Guards bowed at him as he walked towards the entrance. He surely is big thing here. He is a King after all. As we entered in the castle, suddenly a deja vu hit me and I gasped. This place looked familiar, I have seen this place in my dreams. My head started throbbing  and I rubbed the spot. My dreams are real but how?

 "What happened to you?" Chase asked suddenly beside me. I shook my head "I am fine". He stared at me which made me nervous, "We have to meet the person, Come on" I said walking forward. He sighed and we walked together towards the stairs turning around the corner. "This is it" he murmured knocking on the door. I felt nervous all of a sudden. I should't be, I don't know any person here. I will forget about them when I go back to my home. When we heard the distinct voice from the inside, Chase opened the door and entered in the room. I slowly followed him. 

"Its nice to see you King Lorel" Chase said in light tone. I have never heard him use that tone. I move my head forward and stared at King Lorel. His brown eyes meet mine and I stumbled on my feet backing away. It can't be possible. He can't be King Lorel. He was supposed be on the business trip. His eyes widened as he looked at me. 

"Dad"

Chase P.O.V

I entered in King Lorel office because I knew he must be here. He is the only one who know the location of Cassandra and he can tell me so that I can get my answers that why she wanted this girl to be kidnapped by my idiot of a brother and and equally stupid Danvers. He was sitting in the chair behind the desk reading some papers. "Its nice to see you King Lorel" I said giving him a small smile. He is very close to me, he care for me like a father. And I appreciate his effort. He looked at me in confusion and his eyes went past me staring at the person standing behind me. His eyes widened suddenly and he looked shocked. I furrowed my eye brow and turned to look at the girl who stumbled on her feet backing away.

She muttered one word that made my whole word shook. King Lorel quickly went towards her as her eyes rolled back and she started falling. I quickly caught her in my arms and stared at the King in front of me in shock and accusation.

Why did she called him 'Dad'

What is this?

"Explain" I said gritting my teeth, my eyes changing color. His shoulder slacked and he sighed tiredly. "Very well, its time" he muttered looking at the girl in my arms.

"What is this?" I growled pacing in his study. My mind is swelling with different thoughts. I am angry, scared and more importantly confused with this. He was seating in the chair holding his head. We took the girl in one of the spare room for her to rest. She has a very fragile heart. 

"It happened two years back when I was broken with my Princess death" he started, my heart skipped a bit. It can't be, he did something and without telling me.

"What did you do?" I snarled narrowing my eyes at me. My nails were digging into my palm. I am controlling my anger barely.

Steve P.O.V

"It happened two years back when I was broken with my Princess death" I said, my voice breaking remembering the death of my beloved daughter. "What did you do?" he snarled looking at me in anger. He have every right to be angry at me. I did something without telling him. So I started with the truth-

"We have to get her back" she said making me confused, I stared at her for some explanation, she hesitated a little before continuing "We have to bring Emerald back" She said avoiding my eyes, I tensed up, my hands shaking, is she joking. My daughter just died and she is giving me wrong hopes about getting her back. My jaw clenched in anger "This is not a joke, Do you even know what you are proposing Cassandra" I questioned her.

"I communicated with Ancestors as well, they told me to bring her back, she is our only chance to save us from the doom" she continued making me more angry. My body started shaking in anger "My daughter died saving us and you want to bring her back so that she can die again to save our sorry ass" I snarled gritting my teeth. I won't let that happen, if our life will doomed in the future, so be it. "You are not understanding brother" she said frustrated, glaring at me now. "I am not understanding! she was my daughter for god sake and and you are saying that I am not understanding" I said, tears gathering in my eyes again. She rubbed her own eyes "We have a chance to get her back, Our Emerald can come back" she said, hope shining in her eyes. "And she is meant for something bigger, you know that as well" she continued.

"This is absurd" I announced and turned away to walk away from the room, I want to be alone for a bit with my pain. "Father" I heard her voice calling to me softly, my eyes widened and I quickly turned around looking at my daughter who stare at me smiling. I run towards her, eyes shining with unused tears "Stop, don't cross the circle" Cassy warned me before I could go to my daughter, I halted in my spot, staring at my Princess with trembling lips. "Princess you are back" I said tears finally falling from my eyes. "Don't cry Dad, Please" she said, her own tears falling. My heart filled with warmth again when she called me 'Dad'. Only on rare occasion, she called me this.

"Emerald, we have called you here for a reason" Cassandra said interrupting our reunion, Princess looked towards her Aunt and wiped her tears away. "Aunt Cassy" she said in acknowledgement. She looked at us waiting for us to continue.

"We need to resurrect you back" Cassy said

Emerald frowned and shook her head vigorously "I can't come back"

"Cassandra stop, if Princess doesn't want to come back, then let her be, we can' be selfish for our cause" I said interrupting her in between. I can't see my daughter in more pain than she already is. Cassandra frowned and stared at me but I am not changing my decision.

If our fate is doomed then so be it.

"Very well" she said looking away.

"It was nice seeing you both one last time" Emerald said smiling, her eyes showing the love she has for us.

"Me too Princess" I said, my finger itching to hug her and never let her go.

"Its time for me to go" she said after a while, smile slipping away from her face. My shoulder shagged in defeat but I quickly gave her my smile so she doesn't think how much its hurting me to see her going away.

"Aunt Cassy, Dad" she said giving us one final nod. Before she could vanish away to her soul world, Cassy stopped her, I turned to stare at her in confusion.

"Chase is lost forever" Cassandra said making my daughter stop in her place. She looked at us wide eyes. "What happened to him?" she asked urgently, she love him so much I can see in her eyes. "He give in to his beast" Cassy said, he was turned in front of us and fly out in the sky. I know he is creating havoc somewhere and I don't have heart to stop me. He is mourning for the loss just as we were. She gasped putting her hand on her mouth "No, no" she said, tears appeared in her eyes.

"If you want to save him, you have to come back" Cassandra said looking in her eyes searching. I stared at Cassandra in shock, she was using mate bond to get her back. "Cassy, this is not right" I said stopping her. My daughter have peace, let her live that. Casandra ignored me, her eyes never leaving my daughter.

"Tell me your decision" she asked again with more force and Emerald sighed in frustration opening her mouth.

"Very well"  

"You resurrected her!" Chase yelled throwing the chair on the window behind me. I lowered my head, I should have told him about that but it was dangerous. 

"We have no choice" I said squeezing my eyes shut in pain. He growled in my direction. "You got my mate back and you never thought of telling me in all those years" he bared his teeth at me, his eyes turning black. I looked him in the eyes "It was for the best" I said, he doesn't know everything. My daughter is in danger, it was best she lived with humans for a while until the time comes.

Suddenly he jumped at me and swiped his clawed hand in my direction. I quickly turn backward saving myself. He was breathing heavily "I will tell you what is best" he growled and came at me again.

"She is in danger" I yelled getting my sword out to protect myself. He stopped in his track and his eyes changed back to its original color. "What do you mean?" he stuttered, clenching his jaw.

"Sit down and I will tell you everything" I said sitting down on the chair again and waiting for him. He begrudgingly sat in front of me.

"Tell me now"
