I quickly opened my eyes and sitting on the bed looking at my surrounding urgently. I sighed in relief when I figure out that I am in the room rather than in cave with a giant dragon who turned into a human before my eyes and the most disturbing thing was that he was the same person in my dream. 

How can that be a coincidence!

"Oh, you are finally awake" Caleb said who was sitting on the chair at the furthest end of the room watching me, I jumped in fright, putting my hand on my heart to calm the fast beating. "Never do that again" I said frowning at him, he made me quite scared and who the hell sits in the dark corner watching you sleep. He stood up from his seat coming towards me smiling sheepishly "I am sorry" he said genuinely and sitting at the foot of the bed slowly. I nodded in response, my mind itching to ask him so many questions. I was sorting my thoughts out when he speaks again.

"How are you feeling?" he asked looking genuinely worried. I wanted to lash out at him altogether but it won't do me any good. "You are asking how I am feeling after you literally tried to feed me to the god damn dragon" I burst out, every sense of mine went out of the window. I forget that he can kill me easily right now but I am too far gone now. He looked surprised by my outburst. "Maybe you are still feeling the shock of accident when you fell out of the window" he said sympathetically totally ignoring my last statement about dragon. "I am talking about the dragon here and I am just fine" I scowled at him, he put his finger on his chin thinking "Maybe you had a dream or more like nightmare because of what happened with you" he said slowly like he is talking to a child. I growled, he is thinking of me as a nut case. "I know whats real or what not, you are making fool to no one"

He put his hands in front of him "Easy there, I think you need some more rest" he said standing up. I rolled my eyes, do they think that I can be pursue easily. I know what I saw. "What I need right now is for you to let me go" I snarled standing up and stumbling. My legs were shaking a little bit but I stood up on the ground holding the bed for support. "I will when the time is right" he said clearly hiding things from me. I groaned in frustration. I only wanted to spent this holidays with my Aunt but here I am now stuck in a glorious house with these nutcases. 

My Dad and Aunt must be worried sick about me. They were searching for me by now. I have to get out of here.

"Tell me about the dragon!" I asked when I saw him walking away. He looking at me warily "There is no dragon, You must have been imagining them" he said, I rolled my eyes. They won't tell me things, I have to find it out on my own. "Very well" I murmured sitting on the bed again feeling exhausted. He looked surprised that I backed away so easily. "I am hungry, Can I get something to eat?" I asked him, I haven't eaten in a while. He nodded his head "I will be back"

"Be quick, I am starving" I said just then my stomach growled to prove the point. He chuckled and went out to get me some food. I stood up quickly when I was sure he was gone. I went towards the door and just as I predicted it was open. I smiled and quickly exit the door and scoffed when I saw the same corridor and painting adorn with gold and gems.

He thought I was fool that I dream about the dragon encounter.

A**hole

I quicken my pace and tried to search for the stairs which I am sure can lead me towards the main exit. I heard footsteps coming my way, panicked I entered in the nearest room whose door was ajar much to my relief. I closed the door behind me and turned my back towards it sighing closing my eyes. I opened my eyes and looked around me. This place is huge and beautiful. The room in which I was staying was nothing compared to this. Some one important must be staying here. I grimaced, I shouldn't have been here, I can be in big trouble. I looked around me to see if someone is here but the room was empty. I slowly walked towards the King sized bed looking around myself. There was designs on the wall and a painting of a man. I gasped and take a closer look of the man. He is the dragon and the same man from my dream. I knew what I saw real. I touched the painting, my dream flashing in front of my eyes.

"Emerald" he said in grief looking at me. He was sitting on the dark floor on his knees, his face was grief struck. "Please come back to me" he murmured extending his hand towards me. I was confused as hell, why is he kneeling before me in pain. 

Who is Emerald?

"I need you, I am nothing without you" he said, his eyes red from the pain. I want to go to him and lessen his pain but my feet wasn't moving. I was stuck staring at the scene.

"You have to live without me, you have to move on" A voice said from behind me. I quickly turned around to stared at the silhouette of a woman standing before me. She turned towards the man. I couldn't see her features but she must be Emerald.

"Go, Live your life"

I snapped back into reality when I heard the door opening. Shit. I quickly ran further into the room to hide myself from them. I cannot get caught. I hide behind a big black couch bending down and hiding myself from the view. After sometime I heard the sound of door closing. The person must be gone by now because it is silent here. I slowly get out of my hiding spot and sighed in relief when I saw no one on the sight. "Who are you?" A voice said directly behind me. 

Busted.

I closed my eyes in nervousness and turned around slowly opening them. In front of me was standing the same person from the painting. He was staring at me blankly. I stared at him, my mouth opened on its own. Seeing him in my dream and now in the reality is much different. He doesn't look like the broken man I saw many times. He looked like a emotionless person who have the power to crumble this whole world in front of him. "I-I" I stuttered not knowing what else to say. He was standing in front of me and he is breathtaking handsome. I couldn't tear my eyes away from him. He scoffed when I didn't gave him any response.  

"What are you doing here?" he growled glaring at me, he is such a rude person, I am not here on my own will.  His tone got me out of the frozen state I was in. Nobody talked to me in this tone. I don't know why but I felt angry. "Chill out dude, I don't want to be here more than anything" I said rolling my eyes, my carefree attitude coming forward. For that moment I forget that he is dragon who only exist in fairy tale. He clenched his jaw and scowled at me. I didn't even do anything. "Get out before I throw you out myself" he glared, if looks could kill I would dead by now. But guess what, looks can't kill.

"Yeah, yeah, enjoy your solace, I am leaving" I rolled my eyes and turned around to get away from him as fast as I can. "Wait" his voice fell in my ears and I could feel him right behind me, His cologne was invading my mind. "You haven't answered me about who you are?" he asked, his voice husky. I swoon hearing his voice without anger and irritation. I took a deep breath and controlled my erratic heart beat. "I am" I tried to think logically now, if I tell him that I am a hostage here he would definitely throw me back in the same room. 

"Here you are" Caleb said entering in the room and looking at me pointedly, I averted my eyes away from him. My only chance of escaping is gone now. He quickly made his way towards me and stand beside me turning me around in the process so that I am facing the hunk now. He raised his eyes brow at us "What is it, Danvers?" he asked, his voice lack of any emotion. "I am sorry Chase, this is my friend Amelia, she got lost" he lied smoothly, my eyes widened, Friend, my a**. I am being kidnapped and kept here against my will. 

Golden eyed name is Chase. That's a nice name.

"A human friend?" he asked scanning me up and down. I blushed under his gaze. He was staring at me like he is looking directly into my soul with his golden eyes. "Yes, you know how much I love them" Caleb said slinging his arm on my shoulder and squeezing it. Chase, the drool-worthy man stare at us with harden gaze. His eyes narrowed at the hand of Caleb which was on my shoulder. Caleb removed his hand right away smiling sheepishly. "I guess we should go" he said quickly and turned me around with him. I haven't spoken a word since he entered in the room. 

"Your lying ability sucks, Danvers" Chase said stoically, Caleb body went rigid and I on the other hand was flabbergasted, how does he figure this out. "Meet me in my office with Alexander in ten minutes" he said and walked away. I sighed, I looked at Caleb from the corner of my eyes. He was scowling at me "Lets go" he said.

"You had to find his room to hide!" Caleb said as soon as we entered in the room I was before. I glared at him "Oh, how I would know where I am going, you kidnapped me remember" I said frustrated, he can't expect that I won't try to run away. I am here against my will, I will try to run away at any chance I get. He sighed and massaged his forehead. "Your food will get cold, go have some" he said indicating to the food tray nearby bed. I scoffed and folded my hands in front of my chest. "Food can wait, you tell me now everything" I said narrowing my eyes at him, They are not human, they told me that so. Then what are they?

Dragon?

Obviously, Chase is a dragon, I saw him change in front me. I guess they are dragons.

"You are a Dragon as well, aren't you?" I asked

He sighed "No I am not a dragon, I am a Electrokinesis" he said looking at me waiting for my outburst.

"Okay" I said sitting on the bed, he raised his eyebrow "That's it, you are not going to freak out" he said staring at me like I am gonna blow up any second. "No, I am not. I have seen you control electricity" I said, he gave a short laugh "You are adaptable"

I rolled my eyes, I am not freaking out like a normal person that doesn't mean I am okay with all of this. 

"Have your lunch, I will be back soon" he said getting out of the door probably going to meet Chase.

Caleb P.O.V

I entered in Chase office, he was already there with Alexander who was frowning at me. I rolled my eyes. He is in this mess as much as I am. I took a seat in front of Chase with the table between us. "What have you done?" Alexander whisper as soon as I sat beside him. I gave him a look and shrugged my shoulders. 

"Danvers and Alexander, you both know why I called you here" Chase said, his voice blank as usual. I sighed, I know why we are here. "I am not sure about him but I haven't done anything" Alexander said, I turned my head towards him and scowled at him. 

F**king idiot. 

"You are pinning this all on me" I snapped, he looked at me and smirked "I don't know what you are talking about" 

"Shut up both of you" Chase growled, his voice laced with his beast voice shook the whole room. We quickly turned towards him and lowered our eyes. "Who is this girl and what is she doing in my Kingdom" he said, his voice rising and he looked at both of us for answer. I looked at Alexander at the same time he looked at me. We both knew we are screwed.
