Amelia P.O.V

I wiped my tears away and slowly stood up from the floor. I can't let him affect me, he is nothing to me. I turned around and opened the door, Caleb stood before me, his eyes showing worry for me. I gave him a small smile "What are you doing here?" I asked him, he looked at me with a sad smile but quickly changed his expression and pulled a bowl from behind his back in front of me. "You forget dessert" he said gesturing to the pudding in the bowl.

I forget the whole dinner, Buddy!

"Come in" I said making room for him to enter in the room, with a relieved smile, he entered in the room and made his ways to the bed setting the bowl beside him, "Come quick, I heard humans like pudding so much" he said cocking his head, I chuckled and went to sit beside him. "You are right, we do love pudding" I put a spoon full of pudding in my mouth and moaned at the taste. This place definitely serve delicious food. "Can I have some?" he asked opening his mouth, I nodded and gave him a bite, he sighed and enjoyed it. "So, Em, I heard you are searching for Ryan?" he asked after we finished the desert together. I raised my eyebrow in surprise, I thought it was secret between me and Chase. He looked at my expression and gave me a sheepish grin. "Chase asked me to find information about him" he responded without me asking the question. I nodded my head, Caleb is closest to Ryan as they grow up together, he must have lots of knowledge about him. 

"Can I ask you something?" I questioned him, he lie down on the bed putting both of his hands behind his head. "Go on, You know, you can ask me anything" he replied getting comfortable in his position, I put both of my legs on the bed and made myself comfortable as well. 

"How was I?" I asked.

He looked at me in confusion and I sighed "I mean, How was I before I lost the memories and all" I asked casually, he looked taken aback but composed himself and sat up, I could see spark in his eyes, "You were the best, always busy in training but I always drag you out to go with me to have adventures, You were my best friend, we did everything together, you, me and William" suddenly he stopped talking and sighed "Who is William?" I asked in curiosity, I have never heard his name before. He lowered his gaze and his fist was clenched, maybe he doesn't want to talk about this person so I tried to change the topic. 

"So, you were the adventurous type and I was boring type" I asked cocking my head, he moved his head upward and stared at me, a smile pulling on his face. "Were? I still am" he exclaimed in over enthusiasm which made my mood lift up. For the time being, I forget about the situation of Chase and just live in the moment with Caleb.

I miss Blaire at this time, she knows what to say.

"And yeah, you were always a boring type" he said all of a sudden making both of us laugh.

I turned on the other side and yawned snuggling into the pillow. Suddenly I felt cold wind passing through, making me shiver. I groaned and rubbed my eyes standing up slowly and going towards the window. Who the hell unlock the window?

I shut it tightly and placed the lock as well. I turned around and walked towards the bed when suddenly a scream erupt from my mouth. There on the far corner was a silhouette sitting on the chair with both of it hands under its chin. I backed away shivering in fear. There was no light in the room except for the moon light coming from the window. "Who are you?" I stuttered, the person stood up from the chair. It started coming at me at slow pace, It didn't speak at all, I could see from the shadow that it was a man. I stood frozen in the spot waiting for him to come near me.

I should run in other direction but there is only window behind me.

"Don't come near me, I know kung fu" I said trying to scare him away, well I don't know any offence technique but he doesn't know it either. Suddenly the man stopped and tilted his head side away and starting coming at me again. I slowly started moving in reverse. In this vast castle, is there nobody to save me, no soldiers appointing at my door for protection. "I have a mate who is very powerful, he will chew you alive" I bluffed, I know he doesn't care about me but to save my life, I will try every method. He stopped in front of me, his eyes shining in the moon light, I couldn't see his face properly but suddenly the fear I was feeling gone now. He came close to me, his minty breath fall on my face. He slowly lift his hand and touched my cheek with a feature touch, tingle spread on my whole body and I quickly backed away from him. "What are you doing here?" I snapped in frustration, I don't even want to see him and here he is standing in my room like nothing happened.

 "So, your mate is powerful" he asked, his voice held mirth in them. I scoffed and crossed my arms on my chest, "No, you must have heard it wrong, he is not powerful, he is a little scared bitch" I responded haughtily, he growled and pulled me in his arms trapping me inside his muscular self. "And why do you think that?" he said, I want to punch him in the face right now. "Look, King, Let me go, I am here only because of a deal, nothing more, nothing less" I said gritting my teeth, this closeness is getting to my head. He chuckled without any humor in his voice, his laugh sent a chill down my spine and not in a good away. He pushed my head towards him, I could clearly see his dark eyes now which has golden specks in them. These are the same eyes I have dreamed about many times. I never knew I could be able to see them this close to me. "My Warrior Princess, you are not going anywhere" he replied in his husky voice.

"Now, is there anything you want to tell me or I have to find out on my own?" he asked casually.

"I am the Princess of Sabriya, THE WARRIOR PRINCESS" 

Suddenly my head started spinning, I put both my hands on my head pressing it, try to relieve from the pain, I groaned when the pain didn't subside. Chase put both of his hands on my shoulder and shook me "Emerald, come on, get back to me" his voice flowed in my head lessening the pain. He pulled me in for a hug and this time I didn't resist because I needed it as much as he need it.

"It hurts" I cried out, he nodded his head pushing his chin on top of my head. "I know but it will be fine soon" he murmured in soothing voice. Slowly the pain went away and I pushed myself out of his arms, my body feeling exhausted all of a sudden. I moved towards the bed and sat on it. He walked and stand in front of me "What did you see?" he asked, his voice hold worry and curiosity both.

"You should go" I replied instead, I don't want to be anywhere near him, he is liar, manipulator. "I know, you don't mean that" he said, I jerked my head in his direction and glared at him. "I said, get out of my room" I shouted all of a sudden, emotionally and physically worn out. He clenched his fist in anger. Without saying anything, he disappeared from the room and I lied down on the bed looking at the ceiling. Tears appeared in my eyes but I pushed them back and closed my eyes going into a dreamless sleep.

Author Note:

It was more of a filler chapter stating the emotions of our Amelia/Emerald. She is confused, alone and exhausted in this new world.

I know I have not been updating but from now on I will try to update as much as I can.
