"This is the place where it all began" he said with unknown emotion passing through his eyes. Well I still don't know the whole story. So I can't relate with him about the situation. He looked at me and saw the confused expression on my face, he sighed "I know you don't remember anything but when you do, you will understand" he said in soft voice and sat in front of the waterfall. I stared at him standing on the same spot. Sometimes there is so much pain in his eyes that I want to take out but other time he act like a jerk. "Come on, sit here for a bit, Its been a while since I came to this place" he said patting the side beside him. I slowly went towards him and sat on the grass, its texture was smooth and shiny. I maintain a distance and sat a little away from him. He saw it but didn't comment on it.

"Do you want to tell me the story of this place?" I asked getting comfortable on the grass looking around me. I have seen this place before in my dream. It is the same forest where I met that weird girl Rose. She told me that we will meet again soon but I wouldn't sweat about it. He looked at me raising his eyebrow "Do you want to listen?" he asked turning his body in my direction. I shrugged my shoulder in response "Why not" I said, Well I am here what's will be the better time to know the starting of a fairy tale. He nodded his head.

Once upon a time there was an Angel, she was sent by God himself to save this place from the destruction done by dragons that time. She helped this entire dimension saving it from its doom. She knew once she fall, she can never go back home, so she made a home for herself in this very place where any kind of creatures who are homeless or looking for a fresh start can find a home here. She called it Baruna, baruna mountains. She helped every species for more than five hundred years not even once she thought herself as superior. But you know with time, people started fearing her angelic power which can gave life to others and if want can take life as well. And one of the species were Witches, they were bearer of magic, they always thought themselves as the superior one, they were uneasy about the Angel so they made a plan to trap her forever. They sent their best man in her home so that he can weaken her with his offensive magic. But it turns out he was her mate whom she was waiting for so many centuries. They both fell in love, the man forget his job, he forget that he was here to trap the Angel herself not to fall in love but fate works in mysterious way. 

Clan of Witches were getting anxious so they set a plan in motion, they lure Angel out of her home and they capture her mate killing him. She came back looking for him in the Witch town where the power of Witches were at its high peak. She met with her mate corpse and the whole town was burning. The head Witch trapped her at her lowest point and throw her in the hell where she got tortured by Lucifer himself. She came back from the hell seeking vengeance and at last she got it with the cost of her life.   

He said finishing the story, I stared at him for a couple of minutes wrapping my mind around it. "That was --" I couldn't find a proper word for this. It was a tragic story, in the end the Angel died. He sighed "I know" and turned back to his original position looking at the Waterfall. I stared at him, his hair shining in the sun, the way he was looking at the scene in front of him, without frown on his face. He looked so calm right now but as saying goes looks can be deceiving.  

"What was the name of the Angel?" I asked out of curiosity, he told me the whole story but he never mentioned a name. "Rose" he said without sparing me a glance. I sat there frozen on the place, did he utter the name 'Rose'. Are my dreams not only dreams? I met a freaking Angel in my dreams or maybe she is different Rose, it can be merely a coincidence right. But I don't think this is the case here.

Should I ask him?

Only trust yourself.

She told me but I don't even know her and I know Chase a little bit, maybe he can help me. 

"I guess we should go" I finally said, for the time being I will keep this to myself. I will find the answer on my own. He turned his head to look at me and raised his eyebrow. I didn't break the eye contact stared at him back. "Do you remember anything?" he asked in low voice. Oh, he brought me here so that I could remember about my past life and here I thought we were having a good time here. I frowned and broke the eye contact looking at the beautiful scene in front of me. "No, I remember nothing" I shook my head and stood up dusting myself. "Let's go" I muttered uncomfortable with his gaze. 

"Very well" he stood up as well and within a second transformed into his dragon in front of me. I was startled for a second with the quick transformation, my heart started beating faster. He gave a low growl and indicate with his head for me to seat on his beat. I nodded and moved forward to sit on his back when suddenly I was pushed forward. I fell face front trying to break my fall by putting my palm forward. My face scraped as well as my palms.

Why do people like to push me from behind!

Wind got knocked out of my throat as I lay there on the ground. Chase gave the loudest growl, with his big paws he moved and stand in front of me. I groaned as I lift myself up from the ground, my palm was aching so does my face. I looked in front of me and saw a woman, a tiny one with red hair standing in front of me. 

She ignored his growl and looked at me, a smirk forming on her red ruby lips. "My, my, what do we have here" she wondered looking at me curiously. Her presence made me irritated all of a sudden, my inside wants to tear her apart. I can't seem to comprehend this feeling. I am never one to be offensive but right now my feelings are all over the place. Chase changed back in front of me and covered me from the view. "You have some nerve coming in this place and coming near me" he snarled, veins popping in his muscle, his hands were clenched in anger. I titled my head a little to look at the girl who looked so innocent but if she can make Chase this much angry that means she is up to no good. She gave a short laugh "I am not a fool, this is just a trick to see your new toy" she said looking at me, her eyes met mine and I was attacked by a dejavu. Images started flashing in my mind so that I couldn't understand them, a dull headache started coming. "Stay away from her" he growled, claws appearing in his finger penetrating his palm. Blood started dripping on the ground. I wanted to touch his palm and take his pain away but I controlled myself and stayed where I was. "Tsk, tsk, Sorry King Chase but your weakness makes me feel alive" she laughed, her eyes sparkling with mirth. 

"You have been hiding from me past two years, you do know that you are antagonizing me by coming in front of me like a back stabbing b*tch you are" he said, his voice hard missing any emotion, if I was on the receiving end, I would have shrink in fear but the girl in front just looked amused. 

"I will be back really soon with a friend of my own who will take care of you and your new toy" she said narrowing her eyes. In a second Chase was in front of her, his eyes blazing with fire. My mouth was gaping open staring at the scene infront of me. This two have a past for sure and why do I get a feeling that I am going to be tangled in it very soon. "I will rip you into pieces when I see you next time in flesh" he said on her face, for a second I saw fear passing through her eyes but she quickly hide it. "We will see King, we will see" she said and looked at me one last time and vanished into thin air. Chase stand there for a minute composing himself, he turned towards me, his eyes held anger in them but when they fall on me it changed into concern. He came towards me in quick strides and took my hands in his. I hissed when he touched my bruised palm with his finger gently. 

"Who was she?" I asked in low voice as his lips met my injury making a shiver ran down my spine as he healed me. "She is no one to worry about" he muttered looking me into the eyes. I could see he looked troubled. I frowned when he dodged my question. He pulled himself close to my face coming to heal me when I pushed him away. "I am fine" I said, if he is not going to answer me, then I don't need his help. He sighed and stand straight going back to his void self.

"Let's go back home" he said changing in his dragon form.

 We arrived at the Castle in the evening. He changed back quickly in his human form and without looking at me walked away. I sighed and started walking at the entrance when I saw a bench near Castle surrounding by beautiful flowers. I slowly made my way towards it and sat on it looking at the view in front of me. Sun was going down behind the mountains creating a mesmerizing view, I stare at the scene and automatically a smile appeared on my face. Its here right now I feel serene. "You like it here, don't you" A voice said as he made himself comfortable beside me.

"Yeah" I murmured knowing who is sitting beside me. 

Just then I remembered something "Do you know any redhead small woman?" I asked, if Chase is not going to tell me, I will find the answer from someone else. He suddenly freeze beside me. "No, there is no one that I know" he muttered clearly lying. He is just like his brother. Both are stubborn as hell and not good at lying.

"She attacked me in Baruna mountains" I said, I have every right to know the truth. If they think I am their Emerald. They should tell me everything. 

"Don't worry about it, Chase will handle it" he said calmly but his fist was clenched. 

"You know, you guys hide things from me, how come I will trust you in the future" I said  standing up from the seat. 

He nodded his head "Its for your own good Em".

"You don't know what's good and what's bad for me Alexander" I snapped and turn my back on him when he didn't responded. This place is no good for me.

This people don't even trust me to tell me anything. This is another level of craziness.

I have to get out of here soon.
