Lizzie bursts into mine and Hopes room making me jump looking up at her. "You lied to me?" Lizzie asked "Yeah this is not my conversation. Sis, I'll see you later." Hope said quickly getting up and leaving shutting the door behind her. "About what exactly?" I ask "About what?" She scoffs. "Oh I don't know the dragon? Does that jog your memory?" Lizzie asked "Oh the dragon bitch that tried to kill me. Yeah I didn't tell you because Dr. S said not to tell anyone because and I quote "he was spinning and wanted us to keep a dragon sized secret until he had answers". What was I supposed to say "oh by the way I killed a dragon with a death spell that I meant to use on the not so normie Landon Kirby". Cause that would've been a smart move." I say before my eyes go wide because I wasn't planning on telling her that part.

"Death spell meant to be used on Landon Kirby. Baby you can't go around killing people just because they steal something." Lizzie said "He hurt my sister, he deserved it. If someone hurts you they deserve to die as well." I say "You could have told me about the dragon after it happened and the real reason why Rafael didn't come back with you, dad and Hope." Lizzie said "Yeah because he chose Landon over me and you. Truth be told I plan to make him pay for it. Now I have to go speak with your dad so I'll talk to you later. If you're staying make sure to lock up when you leave." I walk towards her and go to kiss her but she backs up away from me. I ignore the hurt that I felt and kept walking towards the door. "I love you Liz." I say and I walk out the door shutting it behind me.

I walk down the wall and find Hope walking towards the dorm. "You done getting yelled at?" Hope asked "Liz may hate me right now, but that's okay with me. I would rather her safe and hating me, than in danger and liking me. And she wasn't in danger until the knife was brought here." I say as she turns around to walk back with me towards the great hall. "I see the way she looks at you. I don't think she hates you, Lia. I think she is tired of everyone's secrecy. And maybe out of everyone she thought you would be the one to tell her the truth. Give her time." Hope said "Yeah that's my plan for today. To deal with this new monster that kidnapped two normies last night because you know that's what Dr. S will force us to do or I'll hang with Rafi or the wolves today." I say

"What happened last night when you went for a run?" Hope asked "I went to run the perimeter of the gate because Dr. S said to keep close to the school because I was staying human. I saw headlights at the gate and went to check it out and saw that normie girl Dana's car. She and her friend Sasha were waiting for jackass Connor and Sasha got out of the car to get signal then she up and disappeared. I heard rustling then something landed on the top of the car before crawling down the windshield but I didn't see what it was. I don't know how it will help Donovan or Dr. S but if I was the last one to see them I alive I have to tell them either way." I say and we reach the great hall. "Who are you going to sit with?" Hope asked "Probably Kaleb and MG." I say "Okay. I will see you later then." Hope said

I walk over to Dr. S since the meeting had not started yet. "Does Donovan know about the supernatural?" I ask "He was friends with Elena and them. Why?" Dr. S asked "Because I'm pretty sure I was the last one to see those two girls alive and no I didn't kill them. But I think a monster did." I say and I walk away to sit down beside of Kaleb who was sitting beside MG. "Given our recent influx of monsters, the Sheriff and I have decided we need to take drastic action. Please give him your full attention." Dr. S said "Like Dr. Saltzman was saying, local girls Dana Lilien and Sasha Storerauz didn't come home last night. Dana sometimes skips town for a few days to party, but this is a first for Sasha." Donovan said "Thank you, Sheriff Donovan. Now while the knife is away with Dorian and things are quiet on his end, it won't hurt to assume the worst. If Dana and Sasha..." Dr. S said and I see MG glaring down Kaleb.

"Dude, if you don't stop mugging me. You heard Ol' Blue Eyes. Dana has a history of running away." Kaleb said and I snort at the nickname. "I saw you feed on her." MG said "Yeah, feed. Not kidnap. MG, I'm telling you- -vampire to vampire - - this ain't on me." Kaleb said and I lean over across Kaleb and he moves his arm around my back. I heard a growl around the room and I laugh a little smirking. "Kaleb is telling the truth MG. I saw what happened to the girls last night. Whatever took the girls wasn't human. So it wasn't Kaleb." I say leaning back but Kaleb doesn't move his arm. "Now, I'll need a few of you to volunteer to go to Mystic Falls High under the guise of an exchange program meant to improve relations between our schools, which, unfortunately, is necessary, given recent events. Now, I give you permission to compel them, to gather materials for locator spells, because any information we can get will make all the difference." Dr. S said and Lizzie stands up.

"Well, I guess that I can set aside my differences with Dana for a day, because that is what heroes do. So... I volunteer as tribute." Lizzie said "She battles one gargoyle, and suddenly, she's Mother Teresa." Hope said and cough to cover my laugh and Hope looks back at me smiling. "You're gonna be real embarrassed when I prove you wrong." Kaleb stands up. "I'm in." Kaleb said and MG quickly stands up. "I'm in, too." MG said and I feel them both look down at me so I look up at them and Kaleb motions his head towards Dr. S. "Oh hell no, I ain't volunteering to go to normie school. Love you two mean it but no thank you." I say and Kaleb laughs.

Hope stands up. "I'd like to help." Hope said and I looked at her shocked. After that he dismisses us but Donovan walks up to me. "So Dr. Saltzman tells me you have information for me?" Donovan asked and I turn to look at Kaleb and MG. "I'll talk you guys later." I turn towards Donovan. "Yes I do. But I do not think it should be talked about here." I say and he nods. "Okay. Dr. Saltzman, can we use your office?" Donovan asked "Of course. Khalia you know where you find me and your sister when you are done." Dr. S said and I nod.

We walk to Dr. S' office and as soon as we sit down Donovan starts the questions. "Start from the beginning. What did you see last night?" Donovan asked "Last night, I went for a run and because I was in human form Dr. S told me to keep near the school just in case. Well I saw headlights at the gate which was odd because Jeremy was still in the school and so was everyone else that would've drove. I went to the edge of the gate and that's when I saw Dana's car and Sasha get out of the car to get signal to call Connor. I heard Sasha scream as she disappeared into thin air. Something jumped onto the roof of the car and crawled down the windshield. Dana started screaming and that's when I ran back to the school. There wasn't anything I could do. It was dark so I couldn't see what type of monster it was." I say "Alright, that's all for now. I will let Dr. Saltzman know if I need to speak to you again." Donovan said "I don't know how much help I'll be but sure." I say before leaving the room going to mine to change before going to the gym to go train with Dr. S and Hope.

"Who are you, and what have you done with Hope Mikaelson?" Dr. S asked I never got to go to a real school. I've always wanted to know what it's like to be normal for a day instead of being a tribrid loner minus Lia. Hey, sis. Trade out?" Hope asked "Yeah sure." I say and Hope and I switch. "Yeah, well, that's a bed you both made for yourselves." Dr. S said "Not looking for a social lecture. So, what's your plan with Landon? Does he, like, go here now?" I ask "Why? You still thinking about murdering him?" Dr. S asked "Depends on the day." I say "Cause there's a knife that say dormant for centuries the day he took possession of it. I'd say there's a lot we need to learn about him." Dr. S said and I get him in a headlock. "And then what? We kick him to the curb?" I ask "Then we decide to do what's best for the people of this school." Dr. S said "Any idea what to do with him while they search for missing normie mean girls because I'm not normiesitting." I say "As a matter of fact, yes." Dr. S said and I could tell the wheels were turning. "Oh shit. Hope sis you have fun." I say

I'm sitting at a lunch table working on dark magic spells about to head outside with the wolves when Raf sits down beside me. "You know, the wolves usually eat outside." I say "I'd rather hang with you." Raf said and I smile slightly before leaning closer to his ear. "I heard someone was a little jealous about who I was sitting with at the assembly." I say leaning back smirking and he growls. "You let that vampire touch you." Rafael said "Baby jealously don't look good on you get rid of it. Kaleb and I are just friends have always and will always be just friends." I say "Why didn't you ditch like Landon and go play detective?" Rafael asked "Well, honestly I would care less about the normies and I'm actually working on more dark magic spells since there are none in this school because Dr. S banned them but I never listen to our oh so lovely headmaster." I see the look on Rafs face. "What?" I ask "Oh, nothing." Raf said "What?" I ask smiling. "I'm still trying to wrap my head around this being a normal conversation here." Rafael said "Oh." I laugh. "Well it wouldn't because normally none of the students actually do dark magic but because that's what my magic strives off of that's my only choice. But it means you're happy that you're back?" I ask

"I'll be happy when I know that Landon can stay." Raf said and I instantly stop smiling. "And then, what if he can't?" I ask and I see Raf glance up behind me and I feel someone behind me. "Bounce, Tribrid. Rafael and I need to have a little chat." Jed said and I turn to look up at him raising an eyebrow at him and he winks at me. "Soon as Alia and I are done." Rafael said and I look between the two and I see another behind Rafael. "Actually, newb, I'm your alpha. You're done when I say you're done." Jed said and Rafael stands up and I quickly stand up glancing behind Rafael and at Jed. "Boys do we really need to do this? Because you both know I can easily kick both your asses. And I'm not really in the mood for another Emma therapy session for another fight before class." I say picking my books up. "I'll walk you." Raf said grabbing my stuff from my hands and grabbing his bag. We walk by Jed and I stop right beside him. "You're an absolute ass." I say "Well, Ali you love that about me or you wouldn't have kept me around." Jed said and I keep walking.

As I'm walking down the hallway I hear fighting and punching. I see some of the werewolves and Jed kicking the shit out of Rafael when I round the corner. "Hey!" They don't pay me any attention. My eyes instantly turn black because Rafael is still my mate. I hold my hands out holding them against the wall. "I said hey!" I say "Ali, what the hell?" Jed asked and I slowly walked towards him. "Touch him again and best friend be damned Jed, I will kick your ass and take my rightful spot as Alpha. Just because Nate made you his beta and then I killed him doesn't mean shit. The minute I shifted I should've took my place but I didn't because I was being a nice friend and letting you be alpha because you understood the wolf life and I was still getting used to being a wolf. But here we are two years later and I think you need a reality check." I say before backing up and dropping the boys to the ground. Jed quickly gets up and looks at Rafael. "To be continued." Jed said "Oh I think not." I go towards Raf putting my hand on him. "Hey, are you okay?" I ask "Get off of me!" His eyes are amber. "Just stay away from me." Rafael said "I would gladly fucking do that but the fucking earth decided to mate us together Rafael!" He walks away.

I go out to the Old Mill and I hear Raf throwing chairs and breaking them. "Rafi. Rafi." I say as I walk up the steps. "I told you to leave me alone!" Raf yelled at me. "No, I can't do that until you- -" I say before he walks over to me grabbing my arms and I put my hand on the side of his face and his chest. "It's not safe!" Raf said "No, just calm down! Calm down." I say "It's not safe! Get away!" Raf said "Raf, baby. Calm down. Close your eyes and breathe. Breathe. Just like me." I rub his chest and I feel and hear his heartbeat start to slow down. "Good. Breathe." I close my eyes putting my head down a little. "Good. That's more like it." I say opening my eyes looking up at him. "Was that magic?" Raf asked "No. Just... years of practicing with Lizzie, and Hope helping me since you know.." I flip my eyes. "I am the Demon Tribrid, I guess. Plus I think the mate bond had quite a lot to do with it." I say "I didn't mean to scare you." Raf said "No. Baby, you can't scare me." He looks down and away from me. "Hey. Hey." I grab the side of his face and make him look at me. "What scares me is that you're dead if you don't submit. I can't always be there to protect you." He sighs and looks away. "Hey, no, it's just the way it is because as much as Jed is my friend he's an egotistical jackass who is still up on his high horse from where Nate made him his beta and when I accidentally killed Nate who was alpha it made the beta be the alpha." I say "You're the one talking about making change, right?" Raf asked and I laugh. "I meant strengthening my magic, not launching a revolution." I say and he looks up.

"Alia." Raf said "Jed's an alpha, okay? You're a wolf. Okay? That's just the wait it is. There's no other way." I say "Babe." This time he gets my attention. He points up and I look up to see a loft covered in spider webs. We look at each other before he goes up the stairs first holding my hand until we get upstairs. "Alia?" Raf asked and I walk over to him. There's a girl wrapped up in spider webs. I notice it's the girl from the picture, Sasha. "It's Sasha." I move spider webs away from her face causing her eyes to shoot open making me back up into some spider webs getting stuck. "Raf." I say "Are you okay?" Raf asked "Yeah totally, Rafi. I'm stuck in the web of whatever the hell the next monster trying to come take the knife is." He rolls his eyes at me but tries to help me but gets stuck himself. He pulls at the web but it doesn't break. "Raf." He looks at me. "This is bad. Whatever spun this, it's gonna come back and it's gonna eat us." I say "Can't you witch us out of here, Miss. Demon Tribrid?" Raf asked "Right of course I forgot about that. Sometimes I forgot about the lengths of my own powers and forget about the." I say before he leans over and kisses me. "Are you calm yet? Your heart was beating like crazy." Raf said "Hold on, the rooms still spinning." I say and I hear footsteps and we look down and I see that jackass Connor from Mystic Falls High. "Hey! Hey, we're trapped up here!" Raf yells "Connor?" I ask and he turns to look at us and half of his face is a spider. "Damn." Raf said "Well shit." The flesh starts falling off Connors face to reveal more of the spider. "Holy hell. What fuck is that?" I ask and he starts climbing up the wall. "Alia, now would be a good time for one of those dark magic spells you were talking about." Raf said and I try to get my hand free enough to cast the spell. "Ignarious." I chant throwing a fire ball at him as my eyes change. "All right, I think you got him." Raf said "Or we just royally pissed him off. Because oh my holy hell what the hell is that thing?" I ask as I see the thing become a full spider.

"I think he's still out there." Raf said and I look up once I hear screeching. "Nah shit. Look the fuck up." I say and I hear someone walk in the Old Mill. "Hey, douchebag." As he clangs something against the railing causing its attention to get away from us. "Oh." Landon said and he backs away and I look down to see Hope walk in. "I hate spiders." Hope said "Babe. Babe. You need to get us out of here." Raf said "Shit. Uanascar." We get free and I quickly get down the steps. "Lizzie, I need your help." Hope said and Lizzie and Josie both walk in behind her. "Let me handle Mr. Spider. You all go wait outside." I say "What? No!" Lizzie said "Raf! Get her the hell out of here now!" I say "On it. Come on. Let's go." Raf said leading Lizzie out the Old Mill. "Hey there Mr. Spidey. Ready to die?" He hisses at me. "Guess not. To bad. Imperium fluctus malleus. Imperium fluctus malleus. Imperium fluctus malleus. Imperium fluctus malleus. Imperium fluctus malleus. Imperium fluctus malleus." I chant holding my arms out causing the spider to go against the loft before exploding into orange goo covering me in the stuff. I walk out of the Old Mill as everyone turns around and Liz and Raf instantly walk up to me. "Are you okay?" They ask in sync. "Fine. Just want to go wash all this stuff off." I say and I walk away leaving them standing there. "She's definitely not okay. She doesn't seem okay." Lizzie said as I walk away. "I promise Liz. I'm fine. Rafi, I'll meet you afterwards or you can come sit in my dorm room. It's up to you." I say and he runs up to join me.

Raf is standing behind a pillar and I'm standing in front of him. "Are you sure you want to do this?" I ask "You saw what they did to me. I don't think going lone wolf's an option anymore. Do you?" Raf asked "Don't look at me. I'm a twin with two soulmates. One that I've had since I was 16. I don't do anything solo." I say and he smiles at the mention of him and Lizzie. "Look, after Cassie died, I thought Landon was the only pack I'd ever have. I didn't think that I needed anyone else. Be honest with me. Is this school, these people... keeping Landon here- - is it worth it?" Raf asked "This place is flawed. Every single person here is cursed in some way, whether it's blood or just life. Everyone had issues of their own that they're dealing with. But we're all in this together. Every single person here, we look out for each other. So, yeah. It's worth it." I say and the medicine ball rolls over to us so I pick it up and hand it to Raf. "Medicine ball. Jed and his boys play for keeps." Raf said and he walks towards them. "Foster kid. You back for more?" Jed asked as he and the rest of the pack meet Raf in the middle and Raf hands him the ball. "I killed my girlfriend. It was an accident. I was behind the wheel, and I lost control. When I woke up, I was in the hospital. Landon had to tell me that she was dead, and I don't know anything else. Am I a part of the pack now?" Raf asked "Take a knee." Jed said and I almost laugh but Jed looks at me so I quickly stopped. "What?" Raf asked "You're gonna submit to your alpha, you take a knee." Raf looks back at me with this pissed off look on his face. "No, I'm just playing. It's your ball. You're in the next round." Jed throws Raf the ball before looking over at me. "Your highness you want to play?" Jed asked "Why of course your royal wolfness." I take my hoodie off throwing it to the side and there's whistles throughout the gym. Raf growls loudly. "Aw is the pup mad?" I take the ball from Raf. "Try and keep up boys." I say

I'm sitting beside Lizzie as she's talking to Dr. S. "I specifically asked you to wait." Dr. S said looking at Lizzie. "I know, but..." Liz said before Dr. S cut her off. "No buts. There are no buts, Lizzie. Okay, being a hero is not more important than being safe." Dr. S said "I'm not a hero, dad. The only reason I was trying to be is because that's how you're always treating Hope and Alia. Let's be honest. They'll both be better at it than I'll ever be." Lizzie said "Khalia forgive me for this. Hope and Khalia are not goals. The Mikaelson Twins are the cautionary tales. And the reasons I trust them are the last things I'd ever want the two of you to experience. Lizzie you're mated to Khalia, surely you know what she's been through. That's why I founded this school. That's why there are rules. Yes, Khalia breaks the rules with her dark magic but she has no choice because if she did not then she would not have magic but because of the rules in place we have to punish her." Dr. S said "If I may. The only reason we're alive today is because we broke the rules. I did a spell today that saved us, a spell that they would have known if the school was taught offensive magic. Obviously I didn't use dark magic around the twins because of the siphon ability. And then Lizzie almost died yesterday because you didn't let me tell them to be on the lookout for monsters. The past couple days have proven that you cannot protect them from everything. They have to start learning how to protect themselves." I say "Oh, god. Is this that moment they talk about when parents lose all control and their children's friends help?" Dr. S asked "Dad." The twins said in sync. "All right, I will rise it under consideration. Okay? Now... go to bed. I love you two. Sort of." Dr. S walks out of the room only to walk back in a second later. "Khalia go back to your room." Dr. S said "Dad!" Lizzie threw a pillow at the door as he shuts it. "Where did that come from?" Lizzie asked "I guess I felt like launching the revolution." I say

I was walking down by the kitchen when I hear voices. "Hell, they even make rules about how we're supposed to eat, but they don't tell us what they're actually feeding us." Kaleb said and I walk towards his voice. "There's blood bags in that refrigerator right there. But not human blood!" Kaleb said "What are you talking about?" MG asked and Kaleb scoffed. "You know what, man? Ask yourself why you don't see many rabbits running around the yard around here." He walks by me and I walk out behind him. I see Donovan stop in front of Kaleb. "Evening, officer. Let me guess, you're here to give me a medal." Kaleb said and I stop beside him. "Actually, I'm here to ask you a few questions." Donovan said "About what?" Kaleb asked "About why half the Mystic Falls cheerleading squad's wearing scarves around their necks." Donovan said and I groan. "I told you to heal them."

"Walk away, Matt. I'll handle this." Dr. S said coming up behind us. "Oh, don't pretend like you on my side when you the one who told him. Question is: who told you? Lizzie? MG?" Kaleb asked and I groan. "Kaleb man keep your damn mouth shut. I could've got you out of this." I say "Actually, you just did. I've had my suspicions, but I could never confirm them." Dr. S said "So... what are you gonna do about it? Cause I know you ain't locking me up." Kaleb said and he goes towards Donovan but before I could move and stop Dr. S he puts a needle in Kalebs neck. "Dr. S what the hell?" I ask "I've been doing this too long, Ric. If your kids are a threat, I'll be coming for them." Donovan said and I step towards him and my eyes shift. "If you threaten my mates, my friends, or any of the kids in this school, Sheriff, I'll be the one coming for you. And then you'll see why they call me the Demon Tribrid." I smirk at him with the well known Mikaelson smirk. He nods backing away and leaving. I turn to Dr. S. "I'm not helping you put him in the cellar. You can do that yourself." I say walking away back towards my room.
