Calum and I made our way to his hotel, the one his parents and sister were staying in. He helped me grab all of our bags from the back of his car because I couldn't get all of them myself thanks to my broken arm.

We soon had all of our bags in a way that we could carry them all. We walked into the hotel and got into the elevator. Calum pressed the '15' button and the elevator began to pull us towards that level.

When we got to the fifteenth floor, Calum and I got off of the elevator and he led me to his suite, the suite he had been staying in before he decided to try to look for me.

We knocked on the door and I stood to the side while Calum stayed in front. He knew his parents would look through the peephole to see who it was. He also sat my bags beside me that he would pick up after his parents opened the door.

He wanted his parents to think it was just him; he wanted to surprise them with me. I thought it was a cute idea, so I stayed to the the left of the door.

His mom opened the door seconds later, with a sad face as Calum later explained to me.

"You didn't get to meet her?" She wondered.

Calum looked over to me, and I walked closer to the two. His mom gasped and covered her mouth with her hands. She opened her arms to me and hugged me while whispering in my ear, "I'm Joy..."

"I'm Kaylee," I smiled at her.

"You're so, so beautiful," she held my arms in her hands and pulled me in for another hug.

"Thank you," I couldn't quit smiling.

Calum and I both walked into the hotel after he grabbed a bag or two of mine and the rest of his. I took my other bag in my left hand.

"Kaylee, this is David, and that is Mali," Calum introduced me to the rest of his family. I pulled up my right arm in its cast and sort of waved it at them.

"How did you break your arm?" Mali wondered.

"That's a funny story," I laughed a little, and Calum out his arm around my waist.

"I was driving, and all of a sudden, I saw Calum waving at me. I hit the breaks, and the guy that was driving behind me slammed into the back of my rental car.." I sighed.

"Oh my god, are you alright?" David wondered.

"I'm fine, other than my broken arm. That's really the first time I saw Calum.. It's a pretty funny way of meeting someone," I looked at Calum.

"I was so worried about her.. I ran to her car to see if she was okay, then talked to the other guy to make sure he was fine too. I had also called 911, and I got an ambulance on the way. The man was fine, but I went back to Kaylee's car and picked her up out of it. I held her in my arms and walked with her back to the man's car. He told me our necklaces had combined, and that's when I knew she was my soulmate," Calum smiled at me, and I put my head on his shoulder for a second.

"That's so cute," Mali looked at us, grinning, "I met my soulmate at the airport. We accidentally bumped into each other and our necklaces connected. He gave me his number and we've texted quite a bit since," she explained. I thought that was also a great story.

"I'm so excited to actually have met Calum because it had been so long that I was wondering if I'd ever meet my soulmate. Actually, I knew you guys were in the eastern United States, well, I figured you were. My mom gave me a plane ticket and told me I was going to New Jersey, so I did because I knew I could use my necklace to fine my soulmate. When I got to New Jersey, I could tell Calum was still about the same distance away because he had gone to California, which I figured out later. It was so confusing, but we finally met each other, and I'm glad."

"Me too," Calum looked down at me, and he pecked my lips.

I spent the rest of the evening and night with his family, then spent the next day with them as well. We had told them that we were both going to California to spend about two days with my family. They were fine with that, and I couldn't wait to go to California with Calum and to introduce him to my family. I really wanted him to like them, and I wanted them to like him, too.
