Emily
We were stuffing our bags into Sam's car, when the gate clicked open. I turned around, and saw Brennen heading over to us with a backpack slung over his shoulder and a pillow under his arm. A goofy smile was plastered on his face as he joined us.

Aaron came out of the house, tossing his bag in the trunk. He walked over to Brennen, getting his things as well.

While we were talking in the house, waiting for Brennen, I found out that Corey didn't want to be in charge of the overnight.

He must've realized that Sam had more experience, so he passed the job and video to Sam, who gladly took it.

I still wasn't allowed to know the idea. Sam told me that he would say it in front of everybody to catch their pure reactions, which I thought was smart.

Everybody piled into the car, with me in the middle and Brennen and Aaron on my sides. Corey sat in the passenger seat so he could record Sam and the rest of us.

Sam pulled out of the driveway, as Corey pressed the record button. Sam explained what we were doing, but made Aaron, Brennen, and I cover our ears as he told the camera where we would be going.

I didn't want to ruin the surprise for myself, so I didn't take my hands off my ears.

Occasionally, the camera would be taken out, and the guys would give an update. However, the best parts of the trip happened off-camera. It was about a two hour drive, so we had to find things to do in our spare time.

Corey ended up putting on some music, dancing along to it. He, Brennen, and Sam sang to the top of their lungs, but Aaron and I stayed quiet.

We were definitely the quietest out of the bunch. I didn't understand why Aaron didn't sing, he has an amazing voice.

Don't get me wrong, I love to sing. But it definitely isn't my talent, and I'd prefer that nobody heard my singing voice, even though we were just messing around.

I soon felt my eyes slowly shutting, and my mind drifting off. Since I was up until five or six in the morning, I had only gotten about three hours of sleep. It wore me out, and I eventually fell asleep in the car.

  "Em."

Someone put their hand on my cheek, waking me up. Looking to my right, I saw that it was Brennen. My head was rested on his shoulder, and I quickly pulled it away, embarrassed.

"Are we here?", I asked groggily.

"Yes, but no. We have to walk the rest of the way, or else we'll get caught."

I nodded, and inched out of the car slowly, following Brennen out. Sam opened the trunk and tossed everybody their backpacks. He was about pass me mine, but Brennen gestured to give it to him.

He slipped his arms through my bag, and put it in front, so he had one bag on either side of him.

"Do you want me to carry that?"

He smiled at me. "No, it's fine. I got it."

Brennen pulled me over to him, so his arm was around my shoulder. I didn't say anything though, because I was afraid that if I did, he would remove it.

I could already tell that I was blushing, because when I felt my face, it was slightly heated.

Sam closed the trunk, and Corey passed him his camera. We began walking and the now familiar red light blinked, indicating that it was recording.

The three stayed in front, while Brennen and I walked behind them. They joked with the camera, and he occasionally popped in to say something.

We were about five minutes into our walk, when Corey took the camera and turned it around.

"So, how are you two lovebirds doing?"

I rubbed my arm nervously. "Uh, we're not -"

  "We're good."

Looking up at Brennen, I saw him smiling. Once the camera was off of us again, I decided to talk to him.

  "Hey Bren?"

  "Yep?"

"Why'd you say that? You do know that you're gonna get hate for saying something like that, right?"

His eyebrow shot up. "And why would I get that?"

I looked down, trying to avoid his glance. "Because, your fans hate me. Have you seen what they're saying about me? I just don't want you to have to deal with any of it, just because we're friends."

"Em, they can say anything they fucking want to me, it doesn't bother me. But if anybody at all says anything to you, tell me. Alright? And they can hate all they want, it won't stop me from being with you."

I didn't know what to say, so I just nodded. Every since my talk with Colby, I've been over-thinking every little detail. Although, I hoped that it wasn't just my mind running free, and he actually was trying to say something.

I shook the thoughts out of my head, and focused on our walk. Around three minutes later, Corey, Sam, and Aaron, stopped mid-step. We must be here, because once again, the camera was out.

They looked around the corner and walked around it, with Brennen and I following.

In a few seconds, a huge building stood in front of us. It was a bit dark, because it was around seven o'clock. We would've arrived earlier, but we made quite a few pit stops, and there was major traffic on the highway.

However, there was a lighted sign illuminating a bit of the building. Half of it was missing, so it only read 'MOV'.

I turned towards Corey. "What is this?"

Sam swung his camera towards Corey as he began to explain.

"An abandoned movie theater. It closed last year, but nobody knows why. They didn't demolish it or anything, it just kind of stands here. It's pretty hidden, so I think we're the first people to be inside of here."

  I nodded. "Is there security?"

Corey looked to Sam, who shrugged.

  "I don't know, guess we'll find out."

What he said made me feel uneasy, but I trusted Sam. He and Colby have been doing things like this for years, so he knew how to handle the situation if there was any cops or guards.

As we crawled through a hole in the gate, I looked up in shock. The building was huge, and seemed like it went up to the sky.

I could tell Brennen was nervous, because as soon as we walked up to the front door, he scrambled over to me and put his arm back on me. He had to take it off while crawling through the gate, since it could only fit one at a time.

As Sam went to open the door, I playfully rolled my eyes.

  "It's probably locked, we'll have to find a -"

I was cut of by the sound of the glass door scratching against the wooden floor of the theater. Sam held the door open, smirking.

  "You were saying?"
