Emily
  I sighed as I ran my hand through my hair. I couldn't deny that I did feel something for Brennen, but I still wasn't sure. Because of being online schooled and isolated for most of my life, I never had to chance to meet anybody besides Lilly.

  "I - I don't know, Colby."

  "What do you mean you don't know?"

  "I just have this feeling for him. I'm not entirely sure what is, because I've never felt like this before."

  "Well, how do you feel?"

  "I don't know, I just feel...different around him. Being perfect is always on my mind when he's near me, and I'm always afraid that I'll mess up."

  Colby smiled, his dimples taking over his face. "You like him, Em."

  "And how exactly would you know, smartass?"

  He cleared his throat and took off his beanie, fixing his hair. After he was done, he placed the hat back on his head and glanced towards the door.

  "Because.., that's how I feel around Lilly."

  I grinned. "So you really like her, don't you?"

  Colby's face immediately turned pink. "Yeah. I do."

  "Well her birthday's next week."

  "Oh, shit. Really?"

  I nodded. She was turning eighteen, so I wanted to make this party one of the best that she will ever have. I wanted to gather all of our friends that we made in LA and have a huge surprise party.

  "I wanna do something big."

  Colby bit the side of his lip. "Do you think she would say yes if I asked her out on her birthday?"

  I got off of my bed and walked over to where he was sitting in the chair, and squatted down on the floor next to him.

  "Colby, don't be stupid, she would totally yes."

  He smirked. "Could you help me? With you know, asking her."

  "Of course, dumbass."

  I grabbed the arm of my chair and spun it. He gripped the sides and stuck up his feet on the chair. We continued doing this until I yawned, causing him to stop the chair. Looking at the black clock on my wall, I saw that is was after four o'clock in the morning.

  Looking up at my friend, I asked him, "Do you just wanna stay the night?"

  He nodded. "Thanks. Do you have any clothes, like sweatpants?"

  I stood up and walked over to my almost bare closet, trying to find him some clothes. Finally, I found a pair of grey sweatpants stuffed in the top of my closet. After tossing them to him, I pointed to the bathroom. He slung them over his shoulder and walked in.

  Suddenly, my notification tone dinged, signaling that Colby had posted something on his Snapchat. It was a picture of him in the bathroom shirtless, with the sweatpants still over his arm. Under the picture, it captioned, 'bouta change 😘'.

  I rolled my eyes. "Colby stop being a fuckboy and hurry up!", I yelled across my room.

  A small chuckle came from the bathroom, and I got another notification. This time, he posted a short video with the caption, 'Still haven't showered yet whoops'

  The video had my voice screaming at him in the background, causing me to groan. My voice sounded incredibly annoying, both in real life and on audio. Knowing that it would heard by thousands of people made me a bit uneasy, but I guess that I will have to get used to it.

  The bathroom door closed, and Colby came out

  "Finally, Mr. Fuckboy. I never seen someone take so long to change pants."

  He glared at me. "Don't call me that."

  "What? Fuckboy?", I asked, sounding innocent.

  He nodded. And I smiled.

  "Alright I won't.....fuckboy."

  He rolled his eyes, but then laughed after. "Where do I sleep?"

  I rubbed my chin, trying to think of options. There wasn't any things to sleep on in my room besides my bed, and our couch downstairs was a little small for someone to be laying across. Suddenly, something crossed my mind.

  "Oh! Lilly has a couch in her room! I'm sure she would be more than happy to find you in her room when she wakes up."

  "Emily!"

   I chuckled. "What? Y'all are gonna be sleeping together once you two start dating."

  He nodded. "I guess that's true, but slow your roll girly."

  We both decided to write down some ideas for Lilly's party and how Colby would ask her to be his girlfriend, and share them in the afternoon. I listened as Colby tried to quietly walk over to Lilly's room quietly, but failed as he hit something.

  Reaching across my bed, I took my phone of my nightstand. A couple of ideas popped into my head, and I typed them into my notes. There was a few scenarios that were a little stupid, but most of them were pretty good.

  However the best one that I had so far, was that that we have a surprise party at the mansion, and he would make his move after.

  Once everyone is gone, Lilly and I would walk outside to our car to go home. But I would tell her that I forgot something, and need to get it, causing Lilly to go to the car alone.

  Once she goes outside, Colby would be standing outside with a bouquet of lilies, and I would run up to Sam's room to record it on Colby's phone, but not for a vlog. Maybe he could put in a video when they decide to go public, but first, his friends would need to know.

  I feel bad for Colby, because he definitely has some of the most aggressive fans. If he introduced Lilly as his girlfriend to the audience, they would freak out.

  And before he met her, it was obvious that he was a little depressed. It was clear that he was upset about being lonely. Everyone in his house had someone - even Aaron had a fiancée at one point - but Colby hasn't had a serious relationship since he moved to Los Angeles years ago.

  But ever since Lilly and him became close, I could see how happy he was, and he deserved to be happy. I understood why most of his fans would be upset, but there's no reason to get angry, he would still be the same - just happier.

  And Lilly. She would get attacked as well, which I was even more nervous about.

  I ran my hand through my hair, a bit stressed out. I decided that I've done enough thinking for tonight, it was almost five in the morning. I plugged my phone in to charge it, and placed it back unto the nightstand.

  Even though our apartment was almost on the top floor, the faint sound of crickets could still be heard throughout the house. It calmed me down in a strange way, and I eventually drifted off.

 
a/n: ahhh Panic! came out with 2 new songs then AJR came out with a new one today and i cant handle this much beautifulness.
