Emily
  For about a week now, Lilly and I have been learning about LA. Heath, Scotty and Elton have shown us places to eat, shop, and just places to hang out.

  The day after I met them, we were introduced to Heath's best friend, Zane. They seemed inseparable, just like me and Lilly.

  Although I haven't known him for long, Elton has become sort of a big brother to me.

  He was twenty-seven, so he was the oldest out of our little group. Heath was twenty-four, and Zane and Scotty were twenty-five - making Lilly and I the youngest.

  We were both seventeen, but her eighteenth birthday was next week, and mine was the first day of next month.

  The age difference between us and the boys didn't bother any of us, because we all got along perfectly.

  I definitely planned to do something for Lilly's birthday. She was turning eighteen, so I thought it was a big thing.

  I didn't know what to do, though. So far, I'm thinking of throwing a surprise party with Scott, Heath, Zane, and Elton.

  There was also no word about the supposed 'LA welcome' that Elton had planned. Perhaps they forgot about it. I didn't blame them.

  Having a career as a YouTuber surprisingly looked tiring. I haven't seen them filming yet, but they always carried a camera around with them.

'ding'

  I groaned and reached across the couch to grab my phone. Even though it was still early, Lilly and I were having a movie marathon.

  There was a huge empty bowl on the coffee table across from us. Lilly had eaten all of it during the first five minutes of the movie, while I just sipped a Mountain Dew.

  Grabbing the phone, I saw that I had gotten a text from Elton.

  Lilly was still entranced in the movie, so I shook her shoulder.

  She turned to me. "Yeah?"

  "Elton wants to hang out. He said to wear something you don't mind getting messed up"

  She nodded. "Are the others gonna come?"

  I shook my head. "They're probably recording."

  She shut the movie off and headed to the kitchen to put the bowl in the sink. I threw my empty soda bottle in the trash and headed upstairs.

  Half of my clothes now consisted of Send It stuff. I considered wearing some of it, but I didn't want to get it destroyed by whatever Elton had planned for us.

  Taking a shower wasn't necessary. I had taken one last night, and I would probably need one after meeting Elton.

  I finally found something to wear, and threw it on.

  The scars on my stomach had pretty much disappeared, and I was looking pretty thin, so I was able to show my stomach for now.

  Lilly was wearing a pair of sweatpants and a crop top, with slides. As she was coming out of her room, I raised my eyebrow at her.

  I wasn't used to seeing her in clothes that weren't fashionable. She smiled and flicked me off, causing me to laugh.

  We went on the couch, scrolling through our phones until Elton arrived.

  About eight minutes later, we heard a knock on the door. I looked at Lilly and saw her staring back at me. She jumped off the side of the couch and ran to the door, with me following her.

  Lilly got to the door first and stuck her tongue out to me. I did the same and opened the door.

  Elton was at the door, but there was someone else with him. He was short with black hair, medium-tone skin, and glasses.

  His left eye appeared to be blind. I didn't mean to stare, but I guess I was, because he looked up at me and laughed.

  "Yes, I'm a dwarf. And I'm fucking proud. You have a problem with it?"

  Elton softly whacked him across the head with his head, chuckling softly.

  I was taken back. "N-no. I d-didn't mean to stare, I'm sorry."

  The stranger laughed. "I'm just joking with you. You must be Emily, I'm Nik."

  He then turned towards Lilly and winked. "And I'm guessing that you're Lilly."

  Lilly's eyes widened and she blushed. Then she looked at Elton, looking for help.

  Elton smirked. "Alright Nik, keep your hormones calm."

  He then nodded his head towards the elevator. "Come on, your surprise awaits!"

  So this was the big 'LA welcome'. I had been preparing myself for this, so I hoped it was as exciting as I was wishing for.

  The elevator stopped, and we were finally in the lobby. I was about to push the huge glass doors open, but I felt a hand on my shoulder.

  It was Elton. He placed something in Lilly and I's hands. It was a soft black cloth.

  "Put them on, it's part of the surprise. If you see where we are before we surprise you, it won't be as fun."

  Both me and Lilly gave each other a concerning look, then turned back toward Elton. He noticed our little interaction and gave a husky laugh.

  "We're not kidnapping you guys! I know we've only known each other for a week, but trust me, none of us are like that."

  Lilly laughed. "We didn't think you were gonna do anything, we're just nervous about whatever this surprise is."

  Nik gestured to the camera under his arm and asked us if we were okay being on camera.

  We both agreed, and Elton and Nik lead us to a truck. We hopped in and suddenly I could hear that the engine started.

  We were in the car for about fifteen minutes, and the whole time, Nik and Elton chatted to their cameras.

  They eventually introduced Lilly and I to the camera, and I blindly waved. I piped up at certain things I heard, causing them to laugh.

  The ride was pretty calm, so I was about to doze off.

  But when I heard the engine turn off, some doors open, and Elton say, "Get ready chicas, we're here!", I instantly woke up.

  I jumped out of the truck and felt Elton place his hand on my shoulder. He led us around somewhere by steering us.

  I assumed that we were in an apartment complex because I heard an elevator ding, then felt a rising motion. Nik was recording, because Elton was telling him where to go with the camera.

  We walked for a couple of seconds, then Elton stopped us. He knocked on a door. I heard low whispering inside, then a lock being opened.

  Lilly and I were guided inside, and we walked around a little bit.

  Out of nowhere, there was muffled, but loud laugh.

  "Shhh, Kat, you're gonna ruin it!", someone whispered.

  I smiled. Elton told us to take a big step, and I did. I almost slipped, but was able to regain my balance. Nik told us to sit down, and we did as he said.

  As soon at I sat down, I instantly felt heard crunching noises. Feeling on the floor with my hand, I was able to pick up a handful of something.

  There was small, crunchy spherical beads all around us. That's when I smelt something. It was...fruity?

  Suddenly, I felt something on my head. Someone was taking off the blindfold.

  I barely had the chance to register what was happening, because suddenly I was drenched in something freezing.
