Feeling so bad for a character who doesn't even have a legitimate role in the plot.

I was feeling really bad for the only other kid on Whale Island on Hunter X Hunter. She looked so sad when Gon left. And she must have been so lonely. And if she heard all of those reports and watched television, seeing Leorio talk about Gon being in his condition.

Gon coming back once, maybe she thought he had given up and come back. Maybe she thought she could have a friend. She was all alone. Perhaps, her heart cracked a little when she saw he had brought an outsider with him, like she was truly forgotten. Nobody seemed to care about her. Gon didn't even seem to have any connection to her.

She was left behind, in the shadows, out of mind.
