"Hustle, hustle! Muscle, muscle!" You heard a booming voice as you came onto the sidewalk. There stood the hyperactive Jyushimatsu, practicing his home-runs with Ichimatsu attached to his baseball bat. "364, 365, 366! Home runnn!!" He yelled, tossing down his last throw.

"Wow, Jyushimatsu! You did it!" You cheered on, approaching him. Jyushimatsu caught sight of you immediately, tossing his bat aside.
"(Y/N)! You actually came today!" He ran, swooping you up in a tight hug.

You squeezed him back, giggling at his good mood. You almost forgot about Ichimatsu, who was still tied to the bat.
"Help me up! I can't roll over." Ichi's muffled voice called.

"Sorry about that, Ichimatsu-niisan!" Jyushimatsu released you to help Ichi. You watched him as he skipped over with a bounce in his step. You were practically bundled with joy every time you were around Jyushimatsu. He was a ray of sunshine whenever there were dark clouds about.

If only you had some way of telling him that...

"(Y/N)! Want to get some cookies?" You snapped up at hearing Jyushimatsu's voice.

"S-Sure! Let's head inside." You replied, nervously fingering your (H/C) hair.

It was raining by the time you both went inside. You were inside the Matsuno brother's room, waiting for their mother to finish baking.
All of the sextuplets ー except Jyushimatsu ー surrounded you. They kept prying you for answers.

"So, are you in love with Jyushimatsu, (Y/N)-chan?~" Osomatsu asked in his absence.

"W-Why are you asking something like that right now?" You stuttered, beginning to turn away.

"Huh, how indecent to treat a lady like that." Karamatsu snuffed at Osomatsu.

"Yeah, you all shouldn't harass (Y/N)-chan." Todomatsu chimed in.

Ichimatsu remained quiet, his eyes trained on you. It seemed he was waiting for an answer too. The whole ordeal made you overwhelmed, but you wished for Jyushimatsu to return.

"Boys! Get down here now! I need help getting the cookies out." You heard their mother screech from the kitchen.

"Coming." They all drawled, dragging their feet.
"Why does she need all of us? She could just get Karamatsu to do it." Choromatsu said under his breath.

"Great idea. Then he could burn down the kitchen with his glittery pants." Ichimatsu snapped.

The boys kept bickering as they exited the room. You sat in relief, happy that they weren't pestering you anymore. You heard a shuffling noise as Jyushimatsu peeked his head in to see you.

"Doing well (Y/N)? I brought you back a cookie.~" He waved it in front of you as he entered the room. You nodded as you accepted the treat from him.
"Thank you, Jyushimatsu." You said quietly, taking a bite.

Jyushimatsu looked at you sadly, worried that you weren't having much fun. Truthfully you were, but you were tired after the long day.

"Are you okay, (Y/N)-chan?" He inquired. It was the first time you've ever seen him look so serious.
"I'm okay, don't worry." You nodded, taken aback by this.

He reached over as you finished your cookie. An enveloping warmth came over you as he embraced you. You shook a little as you pulled him closer.
Jyushimatsu pecked your lips gently, pinning your arms on the floor.

"I want you to be happy forever (Y/N)." You heard him whisper.

Tears welled up in your eyes as you stared up at him.
"Y-You do make me happy,
Jyushimatsu!" You choked out.

You both continued hugging as the brothers watched you from the door.

"Awh they're so cute together!" Todomatsu gleamed.

"Ah, the wheels of love have begun spinning." Karamatsu announced, trying to look cool.

"Shut up Shittymatsu, they might hear you." Ichimatsu hissed.

The boys fought in the hallways, causing a huge commotion. Jyushimatsu laughed, pulling you up.

"C'mon let's go play too!" He bounced out of the room, leaving you to follow.

You smiled, holding his hand thoughtfully.

He really was a ray of sunshine on a rainy day.
