My best friend was Cesar, sure it might've seemed we are dating but the truth is he likes Monse and I like his older brother Oscar "Spooky" Diaz.

Only Oscar knows since I told him when I was drunk, we've flirted but sometimes he's a jerk in front of his homies.

I was watching tv in my living room when I heard a knock in the door, I grabbed my gun just in case and opened it revealing Oscar.

"Que pasa (what's up)?"

"Is Cesar here? Homies and I are gonna do a quick job and I need him," said Oscar avoiding my eyes.

"He's not here. He's probably boning Monse." I said quickly covering my mouth.

Oscar chuckled, "Alright, thanks ruca."

"Don't leave," I said whispering hoping he didn't hear.

He turned around, "Que (what)?"

I mentally slapped myself, "Uh nada (nothing)"

Oscar came inside my house, getting closer to my face, I felt his breath hit my face, "Why are you always like this?"

"What are you talking about?"

He brushed his lips against my lips, not kissing me but teasing me.

"I always hear you mumbling shit, baby girl just say it," whispered Oscar in my ear.

It's been hours since Oscar decided to stay, we didn't bone, we stayed talking and saying what we want.

I blew out the smoke, "Tell me what you would be doing instead of Los Santos?"

Oscar stared at me, "I wanted to study to be a Chef in this school in Pasadena."

"And why didn't you? I've tasted your food that shits good."

"I had to take of Cesar. My ma left and well that shit wouldn't work," said Oscar

I knew Cesar's mom left them but I never knew anything, "Can you tell me about her?"

Oscar weight shifted, "I gotta go. Homies probably worried."

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to."

Oscar cupped my face, placing a soft kiss on my lips, "No te preocupes mi sol (Don't worry about it, my sunshine)."

I wanted to kiss back but in my gut, I knew our relationship wasn't going to work out since I was way younger than him, it would never work.

He left in his cherry red Impala, leaving me with thoughts I shouldn't be thinking.
