I grabbed my suitcase from the trunk, I was staying at my cousin Ruby's place in FreeRidge for my week vacation. Apart from all the violence, it was a beautiful place where I loved seeing my family. The twins ran out and hugged my legs, they're getting so big.

"Hey, kids! Wow, you're so big now!"

"I'm so happy you're here!" said Luisa

"Me too!" responded Luis

"Me three!" I said laughing, "Where's Ruby?"

"Hey what about me?" asked Mario coming out from the house.

I ran towards him and gave him a big hug, "My favorite cousin!"

I was a little younger than Mario but I treated him like a little kid. Ruby came out and rolled his eyes.

"I thought I was your favorite cousin." scoffed Ruby

"Awh come here."

Ruby smiled and hugged me, "I missed you."

A car passed by, it was a cherry red Impala. They passed by and a cholo inside kept staring.

"Who's that?"

"Oscar Diaz, head of Los Santos. Cesar's big brother. Stay away from him." said Ruby

(Oscar's POV)

I turned right into our street, I saw a hot female talking with the Martinez, might be their cousin. I kept staring at something about her that was interesting to me. She stared back and turned her head towards Ruby. He was already mugging me. Man, that kid's annoying.

I drove past them and into my driveway. I went inside and saw Cesar and Monse on the couch. Their Lovely Dovey shit got on my last nerve.

"Get the hell out Monse."

"Hey calm down O. What's your problem?" asked Cesar

"I'll leave. Bye Cesar," said Monse as she bumped into me.

"I have business to do. Go into your room."

"I'm going to Ruby's," said Cesar

"Wait, ask who's the new girl."

Cesar raised his eyebrow, "Oscar has a little crush?"

"Shut the hell up, just ask."

(Y/N POV)

I was getting my temporary room ready when I heard a knock at the front door, nobody was home except me so I answered it. It was a boy around Ruby's age, dressed like a little cholo. He looked related to the guy who passed the house.

"Hey, is Ruby home?" asked the boy

I shook my head, "Nope, who's asking?"

"I'm Cesar, Ruby's friend. Can I come in and wait?" asked Cesar

"Let me call him quick."

I grabbed my phone and dialed Ruby. He answered right away, thank god.

"What's up?" asked Ruby

"There's a Cesar wanting to come in and wait for you. Que hago? (what do I do)"

"Oh, let him in, he's my best friend," said Ruby

I sighed and hung up, "He said to come in."

"So who are you?" asked Cesar

"I'm (y/n). I'm their cousin. Hey, I gotta ask is your brother Oscar?"

Cesar nodded, "Yup, I'm guessing they told you about him."

"Yeah, he seems nice."

"Wanna meet him? He's home right now," replied Cesar pointing towards the door.

"Hell yeah."

I grabbed my stuff and locked up.
